  1. Marshawn apparently rolled his ankle in the drive previous and they went with Jackson as a precautionary measure and because he is a very capable back himself. As for the "run out of bounds", the clock kept moving so no harm no foul. Or are we now onto running Marshawn out of town now? Can't we as fans just be f#cking happy that we're 5 and 1 and not be b!tching about a guy who our own coach says "has the most heart he's ever seen in a player"? F#CK.
  2. WRONG. The team is better served with BOTH of them running the ball. Freddie finds holes and uses his speed, Marshawn punishes the DBs every time he gets the ball and just wears them down. Together they are formidable and I don't see the point messing with the good thing we got going now.
  3. May I also suggest www.jerseysupplier.com The guy is from China and I purchased from him a Lynch jersey. The guy was really friendly, great communication and used PayPal so you couldn't get ripped off. Cost me $50 with the numbers and letters sewn on and it looks great. Plus I've had it for over a year now and it hasn't fallen apart! I know a bunch of my friends have bought jerseys from him for other teams and sports and they've had no complaints.
  4. Really, would we have had that much of a chance? When we were down 7, the D, let the team march up the field. Held them to a field goal which was then erased because of an offside which resulted in another TD. Very next play Royal fumbles and we're down 17 points and for intents and purposes the game is over. JP became Bad JP only after the game was pretty much decided. Even before his fumble, if he drove the team down the field and scored, do you think that the defence could have actually stopped Warner two more times for us to mount a comeback? The D plan was terrible today, absolutely terrible. I'm no excusing JP's behaviour but the team should have known that with him behind center they had to play better because he's just not as good as Trent.
  5. Good thoughts...I think the game after the bye will be very, very telling of the type of team Buffalo is going to be.
  6. You mean that same San Diego team that got trounced by the Dolphins....? Yeah, this is a young team, they need to learn from this and they got two weeks to do it. I'm not playing the "WE'RE DOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!" card yet.
  7. Um....no. How else will I be able to shout "Let's go Buffalo" at weddings when the original version is played?
  8. Actually, his nickname from Stanford was "Truth". I've heard a couple of Bills players call him that in interviews before too.
  9. "• Down 14-6 early in the second quarter against a desperate team in St. Louis, the Bills did exactly what you'd hope to see a young, on-the-way-up team do. They responded to the adversity, scoring the game's next 25 points to bury the reeling Rams, 31-14. It's pretty obvious, isn't it? These Bills will eventually lose a game. But they're not going away. They're going to the playoffs. For the first time since Wade Phillips was their coach in 1999. " http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...k4.snaps/1.html Word!
  10. Solomon did a great job breaking down what Hardy was doing wrong on his dropped passes. Really pointed out how his inexperience was hurting him. He's good in my books. Better than that moron FOUTS.
  11. Nobody, NOBODY, works as hard for his yards like Marshawn Lynch. We should feel blessed that we have TWO talented running backs with two different running styles. Despite our questionable O-line, these guys are getting it DONE.
  12. Wilcots did a good job pointing out Hardy's errors (and there were lots of them...). He's a work in progress. And there's a lot of work that needs to be done. Back to the film room kid!
  13. Nah, we do it because they're fun words to say....
  14. Oh man....lattes? First gloves now this. ieatcrayonz is gonna have a field day.... A friend of mine in Buffalo told me that the two of them hang out a lot. Which could explain why they talk a lot on the sidelines. It also makes sense because Edwards started last year as the #2 so he probably worked with Hamdan.
  15. Stay safe friend! We need you back in the country to help us celebrate the season in February (oh yeah...I bill-ieve). He's right though, there are few excuses for missing a game. I remember the one week they didn't have the Bills on regional...I flipped and ordered Sunday Ticket (8 games into the season!) just so I could watch the Bills beat Jacksonville on a last minute touchdown. Best $120 I ever spent!
  16. Did anyone catch that he vacationed with Lee Evans to Florida? That should dispel the thoughts of some that they don't like each other.
  17. Trent + Gibran + some SB-ring wearing dude gushing over the Bills - the dipwad mentioning 2002 (6-10) = one happy camper! I liked Hamdan's point about how they were only looking at St. Louis. I get the feeling that Hamdan and Trent are good buddies.
  18. ieatcrayonz called...he wants his bit back. Shouldn't you be starting another "JP is great" post?
  19. And other than reading WAY WAY too hard into a couple of statements, where exactly does this comment make an implication. Yes, yes, we get it, you don't like JP. No need to beat the dead horse with inane forum topics like this. I think we've ALL accepted Trent as the starting QB so why pick on poor JP? Like him or not, he tried.
  20. They were having trouble breaking thru the line. Truthfully, the Bills are putting a big smile on my face every Sunday so far. What I'd like to see now is them HAMMER a bad team like the Rams. Not let them stay in a game but crush them so badly that JP plays the fourth quarter and Fred Jackson gets 50 carries in the 4th just to run out the clock. I'm talking a 4 TD, 300+ yard performance from the Truth.
  21. WRONG. The Bucs owner also happens to Manchester United and is trying to purchase the Montreal Canadians too. So....WRONG.
  22. Hey, you met my friends! (The guys from Ottawa). If it weren't for uncertainty at work I would have joined them. Next year, I'm thinking of getting a pair and making the trip down at least 6 times (I usually do about 3-4 a year). As for Canadian fans of the Bills, almost all want the Bills to stay in Buffalo. We don't want the amazing tailgate atmosphere of the Ralph sterilized by Ted Rogers and his merry band of idiots. Yes, it sucks that a game is in TO this year, but the Bills have made a fortune from this deal and if these kind of deals help keep the Bills in Buffalo, then we should ALL be for it. Yes, the Bills make money but not near what other teams in the league do. Sadly, this is a business first.
