  1. 100%? Wow. Weren't you kind of optimistic about the playoffs when they were 4-1? I'm sure you made all kinds of money cashing in on your omniscience that they'd end up 6-10 and miss the playoffs... Why bother?
  2. That's what lazy people do when they don't like dealing with facts.
  3. Good example of Fitz's arm strength right there.
  4. Oh well... if Fitz is any kind of leader, he'll get in Stevie's grill and make your point to him.
  5. It's not what he wrote, but the fact that he wrote it after being told no more stupid celebration penalties. He's clearly a selfish player who needs to learn a lesson. 6-9 team not making the playoffs-- good for Chan.
  6. (In his best Ty webb impression): "Ryan, you're...uh...you're not...you're not good..."
  7. I've been of the opinion for quite a while that our defensive schemes and coaching are wrecking, or at least poorly utilizing, otherwise talented players. A lot of people on this board seem to think if you're a stud in college that you're automatically going to be a stud in the pros. There's a reason teams employ assistant and position coaches-- to COACH. Doesn't it make you wonder when a marginal player goes somewhere else and excels? How is it we've been bereft of good defensive coaching for so long?
  8. Ralph is cheap. Duh! And of course, "Nobody circles the wagons...(blah blah)"
  9. Remind me what that's like.
  10. That's why mature players don't do it.
  11. "We are what our record says we are."
  12. Who is lobbying to pay Stevie big dough?
  13. I don't think we use near enough play-action. I think it's an absolute necessity to allow our average WR corps to get some separation. Of course, that requires that you can effectively run the ball first AND not be three scores down, which has been the theme lately.
  14. This has been my thought too. That, along with the hit to the collective psyche when key players suffer season-ending injuries, causing us to put out less-than-optimal lineups, resulting in less-than-optimal results. They were resilient early in the season because they were all still healthy and confident. They've become unhealthy and un-confident. It's like a lot of them are playing tentative because they don't want to get hurt like their fallen buddies, especially when the season feels like it's slipping away. Someone better remind them that you're more likely to get hurt playing tentative than playing full speed. The crisis of confidence and sharpness of the decline does not speak well of their leadership. Either no one is trying to lead, or no one is listening to the leaders. Can't tell which it is.
