I've been hanging around my nephew more than usual this week because I've had family in town. Friggin preschooler is infecting everyone with everything he picks up! This is the second stomach virus in about a week he's given to us. Unreal. He's lucky he's cute.

I think the music industry is going to screw themselves on this one. If songs go over $1, I aint gonna buy. Lots of people won't. If they try to put limitations on when or how I can use a song I purchased digitally, I will not purchase them. Many won't. I love the ITUNES store because I think the price is reasonable as are the DRM restrictions. That changes, and I'm back to buying and ripping CDs.

As much as I disagree with many of the things Rush says, he is neither a hate monger nor a moron. I consider him extreme on occasion, but he's a bright guy. Much brighter than Al Franken, IMHO.

Another thought: We took a vacation to Cabo San Lucas in January. It was pretty cool. There weren't pyramids or ruins to go look at, but it was relaxing and we were able to steep ourselves in the Mexican culture a bit. Not to mention ATV riding on the beach, which was awesome. And the delicious mexican breakfasts. Mmmm.

I agree. A couple of 1200+ yard seasons, especially when injured, is great. I hate his whining, but he was a good Buffalo Bill!

OK - then go to the US Virgin Islands. Jamaica is nice, we have been there 3 times, but the off-resort stuff is kind of not nice. Not as bad as Mexico, but still pretty nasty. We loved St. Thomas when we were there. We went off the resort all the time, and it was great. Took a ferry to St. John which was AMAZING and went on some very nice tours. We also took a kayak tour of a mangrove lagoon and it was wonderful. I don't remember the name of the place we stayed for our honeymoon in St. Thomas, but it was nice.

Sandals is widely known as the McResort of the islands. I know people that like them, though.

Ouch. On one hand, that guy is one tough dude. Second, what the hell was he talking about? And how the hell could he bring a loaded gun into a room full of kids, even if by accident?

I have a solution. Just change it to "Thomas Jefferson SUCKS Elementary", that way Thomas Jefferson is still in the title, but everyone will know he was a slave owner and adulterer.

You must understand, this is TBD. There are only absolutes. There is only one cause to every problem, and only one answer to every problem.

Like I said, I'm only judging by my own personal experiences with him. The e-mail exchange was not cordial, and neither was he. I can disagree with someone's article, but can also respect the ability to say it. There are plenty of journalists I disagree with but still respect their ability. He has precious little ability from a journalistic or editorial standpoint. Refering to a starting QB as "humpty" isn't professional or worthy of respect. Referring to Donahoe as "Commander Tom" is neither witty or worthy of respect. Utilizing three question marks (???) in an article is a grammar school no-no. He may not be the devil's spawn, but the only interactions that I've had with him both in reading his "articles" and via e-mail show me that he is.

Last year. Twice. Once durning the start of the season, and once after willis started looking like the man & lee evans was playing well. Notice how he doesn't write about good players. Ever. He can't.

I wish I saved the e-mail exchage I had with this guy at one point. He's an idiot. He wouldn't support his own assertions. He's got such an axe to grind with Donahoe he is incapable of writing anything that resembles fact. Plus he's an !@#$, to boot. Given our e-mail exchange, I would have no problems punching him in the face if I ever saw him. He's the kind of guy who enjoys stealing parking spaces from old women. He's the kind of guy who enjoys cutting you off if you're in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.
