I have a solution. Just change it to "Thomas Jefferson SUCKS Elementary", that way Thomas Jefferson is still in the title, but everyone will know he was a slave owner and adulterer.

You must understand, this is TBD. There are only absolutes. There is only one cause to every problem, and only one answer to every problem.

Like I said, I'm only judging by my own personal experiences with him. The e-mail exchange was not cordial, and neither was he. I can disagree with someone's article, but can also respect the ability to say it. There are plenty of journalists I disagree with but still respect their ability. He has precious little ability from a journalistic or editorial standpoint. Refering to a starting QB as "humpty" isn't professional or worthy of respect. Referring to Donahoe as "Commander Tom" is neither witty or worthy of respect. Utilizing three question marks (???) in an article is a grammar school no-no. He may not be the devil's spawn, but the only interactions that I've had with him both in reading his "articles" and via e-mail show me that he is.

Last year. Twice. Once durning the start of the season, and once after willis started looking like the man & lee evans was playing well. Notice how he doesn't write about good players. Ever. He can't.

I wish I saved the e-mail exchage I had with this guy at one point. He's an idiot. He wouldn't support his own assertions. He's got such an axe to grind with Donahoe he is incapable of writing anything that resembles fact. Plus he's an !@#$, to boot. Given our e-mail exchange, I would have no problems punching him in the face if I ever saw him. He's the kind of guy who enjoys stealing parking spaces from old women. He's the kind of guy who enjoys cutting you off if you're in an ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Was it the o-line or drew bledsoe that sucked? Apparetly for the drew haters it was drew. But now all the drew haters are saying donahoe sucks because we lost ONE player on the o-line.

Fixer upper. You're always going to need to do work to make a house "yours". It's just a matter of how much, not "if". We bought a house well within our price comfort zone, and I'm so damn glad we did. As it turns out, a year and a half later my job was eliminated at Kodak. My wife works, and we were able to survive quite comfortably on quite a bit less than we were used to. Knowing now that we can do it one one salary is a giant relief, and makes life much less stressful. But that's just me. I'm not a big fan of financial stress. We came through that trial with our saving still intact. We still live in a great neighborhood with a great school district, and in 3 years of work and a desirable location, our house has appreciated 35%. I also know people who have split the difference. They bought something in between pristine and a semi-fixerupper very close to our house, and have been able to make their house look phenominal in a very short period of time. Maybe that's what you're best bet is.

So am I to understand from TD's remarks...

I hope he's looking to upgrade that part of the game. In Buffalo's weather, a good kicker can give you the edge over other teams that aren't accustomed to the swirling winds and cold temps. I'd like to see a better kicker for sure. I know lindell improved, but IMHO not enough. I want a guy who is automatic. I hate seeing Lindell line up because I don't think he's automatic. -
Good one!

Nope. Don't do it. Sell it. With the contractor ususally you'd want examples of his work and references. Not to mention putting a cash value on his work, and keeping records for your improvements if you ever sell the house.

I work at a small company that does IT work for various associations. We're to the left of the Dunkin Donuts in the building with no sign.

There's a Fairfield Inn. It's OK. Better than Super 8 or Comfort Inn. Actually, this close to the lake there's probably more bed & breakfasts than hotels. I work in the Village of Webster, BTW.

JP is that you? -
They are quite irresistable, aren't they?

Oh come now, laddie! Was that appropriate or warranted? Anyway, in no way do I find Bledsoe attractive.

Actually, it's because I'm not Irish AND because my car only has a 4 cyl. :-)

I am neither brave nor tough. Nor did I insult anyone purposefully. So there.

Sign him! Sign him! He's got a name I recognize! -
Your assumptions are wrong. You actually are assuming that I think it's good that we didn't sign the guy. That's false. I am reserving judgement until I have more information - such as if we even made him an offer.
-
Truthfully, if D-Wag called TD to talk about it Donahoe would call him back. I guarantee it.

Way!

I think Drew really sh-- the bed in that game. Sometimes your QB need to pull a team out of a game like that, and Drew just didn't have the capability to do that. Hell, even Rob friggin Johnson put us in contention (minus one shoe) in the Tenny game.
-
You do realize that I'm grading the present team. There's no way this team could have made the playoffs the first two years TD was here. See the difference?

I agree. I can get drunk any time I want. I don't need a special day to do it. Anyway, I can't help but piss if I drink too much beer.

I don't think you can look at this in a vacum. It's like chanrging someone for speeding even though they were on the way to the hospital with their pregnant wife. Cant' do that. You have to look at choices. I'd say the first two years he did very well. Considering when he inherited the team and the Bills were double-digits over the cap with only 34 players signed, he did a great job getting us out of that mess in two years. Very good. He even managed to sign Moulds, which was a major, major coup. Getting TH in the second round was wonderful. Clements in the first round was great. Given that, I'll use your system. QB - C+ RJ over Flutie. As much as I hate Flutie, he was better than RJ. Getting Drew gave us instant credibility to a team that was horrible. Recognizing that last year was the time to draft a QB was very smart, given this year's QB crop in the draft and FA. RB - B+ TH and WM, and don't forget Shelton Henry is the definition of 2nd round value. McGahee was a gutsy pick that is paying off. Shelton was a phenominal FA pickup, and blocked like a madman last year. WR - B Moulds, Reed, Aiken, Smith, Shaw, Jett, Wright, Smith and Evans. Donahoe made a decision to keep Moulds, which paid off. Evans was quite good as a rook. Reed was good as a rook, but I don't feel he's lived up to his potential. The grade is based on Moulds and Evans. OL - B- MW, CV, TT, JJ, Ross Tucker, Lawrence Smith, Mike Pucillo, M. Price, Ben Sobieski and Dylan McFarland. JJ was a great value pick. MW played very well last year despite his slow start. I like watching him nail people. I think CV is darn good. Teague is a decent center. TE - C+ Mark Campbell, Euhus, Moore, Nuefeld I like Campbell. He can long snap, and is versatile. Ehus and Nuefeld are both decent prospects. Moore was a good FA pickup. Campbell was worth a 4th rounder, given his production. DL - A Aaron Schobel, Sam Adams, Ryan Denney, Chris Kelsay, Justin Bannon Ron Edwards & Tim Anderson Wonder why this defense has been ranked #2 in the NFL the past few years? Starts here. Good depth, good rotation, and good starters. Schobel is a great find in the 2nd round. LB - A+ Spikes, Fletcher, Posey, Stamer, Crowell & Haggan These guys flat out play. Truly the elite of the NFL. DB - B Milloy, Clements, Vincent, McGee, Thomas, Baker, Greer, Wire, PP, Raion Hill Milloy was a great signing. Vincent's ability to play safety and CB is valuable. Wire is a good athlete, but gets paid way too much $$ and I feel he's reached his potential. Clements is obviously a great pick. K - D Lindell & Hollis I really dislike Lindell. D+ is generous, IMHO. P - A+ Moorman ST - A+ McGee, etc. No way you can't give this amazing group a great grade. Overall B+
