  1. The point is winning. As long as you have a shot, you try to win. Anything else isn't acceptable.
  2. You do realize that the big deal being made out of Mularkey not declaring a QB is not a big deal, right? The reason that the media is making a big deal out of it is because it annoys them. It makes their job harder, so they have to complain about it. So you are all being played by the likes of Sullivan and the talk show hosts, just because they need something to yap about. Really. Think about it. Is it really a big deal that Mularkey won't EXTERNALLY name a starting QB each week? It's not. Unless you are in the media and you need something to complain about.
  3. The exact same thing happened when drew got here. He lit up the league his first 8 games here. Then it just trailed off.
  4. #2. No question. We'd get to B word about how bad the Bills are for not dominating, not allowing your young QB to develop, complaining that losman wasn't playing the whole game, and also relish in a win. But seriously, #2. A breakout game for Losman? That would be awesome.
  5. Actually, I'm a fairly rational person. I, unlike other sheep on the board, can understand that people can do both good and bad things. Donahoe is about 60/40 good to bad right now, but on the decline. It's sarcastic, because so many people need to see everything that coaches or donahoe do as bad, no matter what.
  6. Not true. Willis took over, kicked butt, and the COACH made a decision to sit Henry. This was game 5 or 6, not the end of the season. And who decided he wouldn't be the starter?
  7. Seems to me the cheeseburgers worked just as well as the boxing video.
  8. Did Travis bench himself or did the coach do it?
  9. I'm sure he'll suck, just like the rest of the moves TD makes.
  10. You actually think that coaching had nothing to do with the turnaround?
  11. So the turnaround last year wasn't due to good coaching?
  12. I agree. Not pissing off the media is an extremely important part of fielding a good team.
  13. sucks for my fantasy team. luckily i have tomlinson, as well.
  14. If peters plays, and is numbered as a TE, does he have to report as tackle-eligible? Maybe that's why they changed his number - so they don't have to bring attention to him.
  15. I know you can't play the game frightened of injury, but having Sam play goalline makes me just as nervous as watching clements return kicks.
  16. If this team is as bad as people say it is, Losman will be back in soon enough. I think the entire organization benefits from winning, as well. I certainly don't think I'd consider Losman "stability" at the QB position, but I get your point. I think the Bills if lose 2 of the next 5, and we'll see losman again. And at that point we can bench Moulds, Fletcher, Adams, etc. as you suggest.
  17. I think we'll know before that, but winning is #1 to me. This season isn't only about a single player, don't you think?
  18. True. But winning is the goal, right?
  19. If Losman doesn't see the field again this year, it will be because we are winning. And that's good, right? Last time I checked, that was the idea.
  20. Apparently, he didn't do that last year. Remember the pats game where he said he wasn't prepared? I don't know how you learn unless you prepare like a starter. I have a feeling he's doing that this year. I also think Holcombe is a far better mentor-type QB than Bledsoe, because Drew knew JP was his replacement. Holcombe knows his spot. I want JP to develop, but I really, really like winning.
  21. I think JP will see how he needs to manage a game and take what the defense would give him. I think Losman learns quite a bit from this experience. It will be valuable for him.
  22. That's true, but as long as Buffalo has a chance to make the playoffs, the Bills should put the players who give them the best chance to win on the field. Right now, that's not Losman at the QB position. The o-line has zero depth. Zero.
  23. KH did well managing the game. Very well. His first half was very good. His second half wasn't as good, but you can say that about the entire team.
  24. Yeah, it was pitiful. He kept talking about what they needed to do to win. It was blatant.
  25. All I'm saying is that the QB position was better than before. Since everything else was mediocre, maybe the upgrade at QB was the difference in the win.
