So much for the NEED to have a "franchise QB"...
apuszczalowski replied to McD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would say that the reason the Jets won yesterday is because of Revis/Cromartie shutting down Brady and making it impossible for him to get off passes. So I guess the only way to win is to draft DB's early! Theres no right or wrong way to build a team. But the one thing that is obvious is that the best teams all have franchise QBs and good defences. Right now the Bills have neither. -
I don't know about Cleveland, they seem set on McCoy, I see them getting a veteran QB in FA before drafting another one early

Marshawn Lynch -... Some perspective please
apuszczalowski replied to Homey D. Clown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its funny how everyone says hesbeen a bust for Seattle, when every RB has been a bust so far this season. Maybe its not the RB's????? Lynch is a good RB, when he wants to be, and I wouldn't go bragging that we have Jackson and Spiller, cause neither of them is much of an actual upgrade -
How do you get that? Perform a press conference and get hurt on your first play in your first practice and get an extension? What does the message say to the rest of the team? they are looking to get better What does it say to the LBers on the roster? We need to get better at this spot and have a chance to upgrade IF he can get back to 100%

Should we go after the Vikings D?
apuszczalowski replied to JimKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bring both the Pat and Kevin in to play on a 3-4 line with Kyle and the Bills will have a massive "All Williams" line on D! Then they can try to get Gregg back to be their co-ordinator and we could call it the "Williams Defence"! -
2nd in receptions, and how many championship teams has the guy been a part of? How many teams has he helped to get to the next level? So what if he has the 2nd most receptions, the guy is a me first guy who teams had to throw to all the time to keep happy. Jerry Rice was one of the greatest, TO is good, but had the skills and ability to be one of the greatest.....

How 'bout some Roy E. Williams in town?
apuszczalowski replied to BoozeCruise's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has done nothing in this league and would probably get more being mentored by the WR's currently on this roster then him mentoring them. Whats he going toteach them, how to underachieve in the NFL? -
Fitz didn't practice again today
apuszczalowski replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you should love this idea of Brohm starting, with Fitzs play this year, and if Brohm shines in this game, it will mean the Bills will more then likely not draft a QB early and can use those picks somewhere else (like the lines maybe? ) -
he is reminding me alot of T.O. (his "mentor" last season) Both have potential to be greater, but seem to have a problem holding onto the ball when thrown to. They both received the most media attention not for their play on the field, but more for their "off field" antics (tweeting, interview comments) and TD celebrations. T.O. could have put up numbers to be considered one of the greatest WR's ever to play the game, instead he will be known for what he says/does off the field. Atleast Stevie has time to correct this and become a very good WR
-
Don't worry, he had plenty of other missed catches before and after that (especially after) that kept him out of he Pro Bowl They guy has had a couple of good games and a bunch of bad ones. He was all over the media more for his tweets and celebrations then his play on the field, seems he did learn alot from T.O. last season The kid needs to spend more time working out on the field making catches and less time tweeting and coming up with celebrations.

I wish this was a Bills home game, could be fun to see a stadium of Bills fans waving Maniqin feet to distract Rex, and tossing socks or other footwaear onto the field just for Rex
-
Actually, it wasn't, they were keeping the team competitive in most games, but the offence was sooooooooo bad that they couldn't get out of their own way to score points.. Sure, statistically they were not great, but they were good enough to not cost the Bills games and the were the reason the Bills were in most games until the 4th quarter
-
You are exactly right. Boldin, and moss are proven #1 WR's and were traded for so much less then a 2nd. So why would Lee Evans, someone that so many fans here believe is not a #1 WR and can be replaced easily by a bunch of UDFA's and a 7th rounder get more then those guys? Keep making your fantasy trades on Madden where you might be able to get the computer to agree to that deal, but in the real world, anything more then a 4th for Evans and Buddy Nix should be given the title of greatest Bills GM in history for fleecing an NFL team

How I would treat Tom Brady
apuszczalowski replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bend him over and treat him like he was your smaller cellmate in prison. Let them run up the score as you have every player on your defence lining up at the line and all out blitzing him until you break him in half. if the Bills aren't going to the playoffs, might as well screw the Pats over and take Brady out -
They also drafted a DE at #1 (over Reggie bush), and a LB that won Rookie of the year last year What does this mean/prove? ABSOFREAKINLOUTLY NOTHING, theres no right or wrong way to build a team. Theres no foolproof method/recipe. You just draft the best players and build a great team with good coaching

Jets player/trainer cheapshot on punt
apuszczalowski replied to ofiba's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Love how this gets no penalty, yet celebrating at the goal line before falling into the endzone will get you an unsportsman penalty in the NFL -
1.4 secluded acres for sale, only $69,500
apuszczalowski replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Anyone know if they get mail service to that piece of property? So the Shack is on display at the Newseum? I also like how they have it listed as a chance to own a piece of "infamous US history" -
Roscoe Should he stay or go ?
apuszczalowski replied to I hate the Bills !'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have you watched games or just run to nfl.com for stats? He was having a great year this year until he got hurt with a coach that finally figured out how to use him. -
Why not? That could be funny to see

Should McKelvin be benched?
apuszczalowski replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Guess he should have ran to his phone to tweet about it and paint his face to look like a movie villan? How dare a player try and make a play and say he will always try and make a play. -
And RG's aren't hired to snap the ball to the QB. Like I said, line the QB up 15 yards downfield then and "Fake punt/Fg" the rest of the game. Even if he can't block, it will give the QB enough time to attempt a pass It would have to be better then taking a guy like Levitre who has never snapped a ball in a game before take over the spot

I can't wait for Bill in NYC's thread!
apuszczalowski replied to Peace's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He didn't get beat for the TD, they both had the ball, theres not much more he could have done besides make the catch on his own. It was only a TD because "tie goes to the offence" -
Should McKelvin be benched?
apuszczalowski replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mckelvin screws up, he gets his lawn trashed, and now posts saying he should be benched. Johnson costs the Bills a very winnable game against a good team dropping a ball anyone could have caught, and now continues to show what he really learned from spending time with TO (getting your name in the spotlight, TD celebrations, tweeting, and dropping balls), yet everyone sends him good will messages and encouragement I noticed that too, they grabbed the back of his jersey and pulled down, yet no call. Its hard to blame him for that TD, he caught the ball too (and still held on with Whitner running into them), and it was only a TD because "Tie goes to the offence" No one was getting anywhere against the Vikings today. He had a nice pick too -
players can get injured in a 5 game schedle just as much as a 20 game schedule, Its the way the game is All I could think of after urbik got hurt and levitre took over was How bad is Garrison Sanbourn, the long snapper, after basically all their snappers/centres go down, he still never got the call to go in? They could have come up with a new style offence where they basically run a fake punt/field goal every play
