  1. ware would be a more natural 4-3 end over merriman. both are awesome players.
  2. big thing for me is he can play runs to the weak side straight up. he can jam a lead blocker, he can just come at the runner even and manhandle him. our little munchkin wlb's had to run ahead of the backer and cut his legs to make the tackle, and could never take on a block with positive effect. they were just physically outmatched. kavika not being a liablity in coverage is big too. it means we can do the same type of stuff we like to without giving him massive help, all while having a much bigger and more physical front 7.
  3. i really hope dick and pals show tape of wilfork elbowing jp, and of them throttling us at home before the first pats game. they de-manned us, and they should lose their luster in our player's eyes. i want to see brady, moss, and wilfork on carts.
  4. no. lets send them all to africa where they will pull the mr mcgregg (simpson's ref) scene from last king of scottland. after that i will go on a million steroids campaign and chest kick them all to death.
  5. bmore = almost double the murder rate of buffalo!
  6. bmore = 6 times the murder rate of nyc
  7. um, yeah it is a bad place. one of the worst cities in america. one of the highest murder rates, poverty, shrinking population, property crime. bad.
  8. oh, kewl. i thought it was octogenarian transexual wonderland -- but i log in there like 7 times a day and didn't see anything.
  9. i don't personally care who the president is -- i hope they don't suck too much but whatever. i do care about my money tho, and i've put my money on mccain. ohio and florida, that's where this comes down to. obama is not a man for those states.
  10. many hillary supporters have been polled showing a move to mccain rather than barak. barak is a far left minority candidate without a very clear platform. it comes down to ohio and florida, nearly all the other states are determined no matter who the candidates are. barak is weak in ohio and florida, mccain is strong there. i've made my bets, and we'll see how this all plays out.
  11. in terms of the presidential election i don't see how barak can beat mccain. as it always does it will all come down to florida and ohio. barak is weak in both of these places. mccain is a war hero and barak is a young charmer thin on the big issues. couple that with how weak barak was vs clinton in those states and how his wife will hurt his image as a true american. barak is very very strong with blacks, young urban voters, college kids, and the odd issues candidate. those are all people the republicans didn't have a shot with in the first place. i could see him getting a huge turnout in mass, ca, wisconsin, but losing ohio, florida, and thus the election.
  12. yup. we have our biases and preferences, it's just that simple. it (race issues) gets treated like even mentioning it is a horrible unconscionable thing to do. some voters would prefer a white candidate, some prefer a black candidate. we've know this forever is it really such a bad thing?
  13. people have racial preferences, the same we they have preferences for everything else. the idea that people will ever be color blind is foolish. while race will obviously be an issue, religion (the pracher for obama) and age (mccain is a bit old, obama is a bit young) will be bigger issues. hoping that race isn't an issue as an attempt to say what is wrong with the world is just too PC.
  14. you're 12 and haven't heard of sarcasm. it's the only possibility.
  15. that's on hbo right?
  16. alone??!!? he had george mutha effin wilson beside him. and what about greer, king, and kiwanuka? i can name all of those players off the top of my head. sure they might not be "nfl quality" and are one roster move away from "being out of football", but on these boards those guys are equal to, nay, BETTER THAN clements who is getting 80 million a year (more i think, there's bonuses and stuff, it's complicated). less than 1 (zero actually) corners in the nfl are worth more than league minimum. you win with o line, not with any other position.
  17. with NE in our division and our horrible pass d last year you think the best corner in the draft doesn't fit a need. But ... oh wait ... you said corners don't help pass D. i forgot, the drugs. well good luck with that!
  18. lott = best ever. there is a whole lot of elite room before you get to the best ever. also JUST LIKE YOUR SUPER FAVORITE POSITION O LINE much of the good stuff secondary players do goes unnoticed. not getting thrown at is the highest compliment to a cover guy.
  19. farkas was played by a canadian. true story.
  20. AND WE SHOULD SCREAM ABOUT IT!!! ANIMALS!!!11
  21. THOSE BASTARDS!!!! how dare they
  22. people without skills for a worthy job have not lost a worthy job, they've lost a sh1tty job that is better done overseas. since you agree with that (as per the part of your post i bolded) do you have something to say about america's trade with china that might be considered negative?
