If Rick Perry, current govenor of Texas, runs for President, just say NO. This guy makes Sarah Palin look credible. I challenge you to do research on Rick Perry before taking him seriously. Sorry to get political, but the thought of this man obtaining the oval office is scary! In Texas, they call him "He who must not be named"

Just made my call regarding the Ticket. They are only going to charge me $161.00 for the NFL Sunday ticket this season if the season happens at all. That is the lowest I've ever gotten them down to. I was stubborn and told them they had to take off a certain amount of money per monthly bill even if the season doesn't happen. They agreed. It was fun getting them down lower. They had me on hold for about five minutes once I said I wasn't paying anything over $175. You have to be rough with them and don't fall for their other offers (free showtime and other channel crap). Tell them you demand money taken off or you are out. They will do it.

The careers of Ralph Wilson and George Lucas are very similar (in my opinion). In the 1970's and early 80's, George Lucas was at the height of his trade (the original Star Wars trilogy, Indiana Jones, etc...). Currently, he has Indiana Jones 4 and the prequels of Star Wars on his resume. Suffice to say, he was better in the beginning. The same can be said of Ralph. He started out in the 1960's winning two AFL championships, had a gap, then came back with 4 trips to the Super Bowl in the 90's. Currently, he has the entire span from 2000 to 2011 where nothing has happened and huge chunks of the 70's and 80's where nothing happened (you can compare this to Lucas' HOWARD THE DUCK). Again, Ralph was better in the beginning. I also find it funny that the fan bases of Star Wars and Buffalo are alike as well. We have a love/hate relationship with our creators. We love them because they started what we love, but we hate them due to the current product they produce. Kind of amusing.

If you find yourself watching the wide right kick on Super Bowl highlights wishing for it to go in, you might be a Bills fan. 6. If you check this board more than 10 times a day, you might be a Bills fan. 7. If you constantly worry about your team leaving town for LA or Toronto, you might be a Bills fan. 8. If you talk more about players from the past than current players, you might be a Bills fan. 9. If you consider the name Dick Jauron a curse word, you might be a Bills fan. Does anyone know if the NFL channel is airing CFL games live this year? Seeing as how I'm planning for life without the NFL this season, I've picked my CFL team and hope to begin watching them later this summer. How ironic if the only football being played is CFL on the NFL channel.

I've only recently begun to appreciate the Potter films. It got me thinking, which one is the best. I'd have to say ORDER OF THE PHOENIX. Similarly, if you had to pick a favorite film from another franchise, which franchise would it be and which one is tops in your estimation? For example, Godfather 2 is the best in that series (in my opinion) and Empire Strikes Best is the best in the original Star Wars trilogy. Look forward to hearing which film franchise favorite you pick.

Willie Nelson once sang this famous line: "Turn out the lights the party's over, they say that all good things must end". I am fully prepared for no NFL this season. Truthfully, maybe the NFL needs to fail. If there is no season, I look forward to the gimmicks the owners will pull in the 2012 season to get us back to the stadiums (free jerseys for the first 1,000 people at the stadium, $10 seat days, all those 65 and over get in free, free autograph sessions with all players (past and present) immediately following the game (on the field), dollar hot dog day, winning text gets free pro-bowl tickets, dollar beer day, buy one ticket get one free day, all school age children get in free day, etc...). Did I leave any gimmicks out? Oh yeah, maybe they'll allow NFL players to use steroids like the MLB did in the 1990's, to get butts in seats.

I enjoy rooting for Fitz as well. I'm just concerned about what happens if any injury occurs. That is why we need a solid backup. We don't have one right now. That concerns me.

I could live with Troy Smith or Vince Young.

If Fitz goes down with an injury next season, do you want to hang your hat on Bad Bad Levi Brown or Bad Bad Brian Brohm? Seriously, we need to consider signing Vince Young as a backup QB. Otherwise, let's plan on LUCK next April.

Looks like a UFO with a field in the middle. The University of Arizona's stadium (home of the Cardinals) looks like a UFO too.

If we take Ponder in the 2nd; I will buy that one. However, I still feel like we are taking Cam with the 1st pick; therefore, I'll probably be buying a Newton jersey. Ralph said we need a QB; therefore, I'm all but expecting to hear Cam at #3.

I would be so pumped if we got Ponder at 34.

With all this QB talk, maybe we need to sign Jevan Snead or Chris Simms to be our backup. Simms is a backup on the Titans that they keep signing and releasing and I'm not sure where Snead is these days. Why not?

I checked and the NFL network did air CFL games last season. Irony will kick in if the CFL has games on the NFL network this season while the NFL is on hiatus. I do hope the NCAA will pursue having some of their marquee matchups on Sundays and a game on Monday night if the NFL doesn't resume in the fall. NO NFL would be huge for college football.

When the lockout becomes official tomorrow morning, are you more likely to watch the CFL or UFL? I'm leaning towards CFL. Doesn't the NFL Network play CFL games on their network? If not, where can we watch them? On a side note, do you think the owners will go after scab players again (via 1987)? I could see some UFL players easily going back into the NFL if they used scabs. If the owners get scabs, I will DEFINITELY watch it.
