I’m not sharing anything new, but I pay attention to the smaller capacity stadiums teams are building. Smaller capacity reasons are what I’d like to hear from all of you. I think they see the eventual decline of in person events and people relying on streaming, etc to grab their attention. I feel they are building these venues for concerts, other sports, community events, etc more than football per se. What say you?
League:
*Denver wins AFC West
*Raiders finish last in their division.
*San Francisco misses playoffs (Trey Lance has a bad year)
*Tom Brady retires mid season for family reasons
*Carolina wins the NFC south
*vikings win NFC north
*Cowboys win the NFC and advance to super bowl
Bills:
*Our RB’s will be the backbone of our offense (catching screen passes, etc…)
*Gabriel Davis finishes with more yards than Diggs at end of year
*Bills win the AFC championship by beating the broncos
*Bills beat the cowboys 52-17 in the super bowl
Josh Allen, two Doug flutie’s, Bruce smith, CJ spiller, JP losman, Rob Johnson, Fred Jackson, Jim kelly, Kevin Everett, drew Bledsoe, Norwood, Terrell Owens, etc…
True story- ran into Darryl at an aquarium one time when he was there with his family. The dude was flirting with a teenager about 3 feet away from his wife and kids. Lost a lot of respect for him that day.
When tickets are free or cheap you get rowdy fans and loud/intimidating environments (hence a tough place to play in for opposing teams). I’ve been to a few nfl venues who outpriced their hard core fans when they got a new stadium. Their stadiums are corporate now, quiet, and not intimidating to opposing teams.
You might be right on those. I’m always fascinated at development, or lack thereof around nfl stadiums. In Arlington TX they don’t have much around at@t stadium, unless you count the Walmart, cici’s, or Taco Bell. In Kansas City there is no development around arrowhead, etc… Its always a selling point: all these businesses will come if you build a stadium. I’ve not seen the fruit of that at most nfl venues
AFC wide
Joe Burrow won’t be 100%. The Cincinnati Bengals will MISS the playoffs, as OP said
Denver wins the afc west and plays the bills in the afc championship game in orchard park
Chargers will lose Herbert mid season due to injury and Jimmy Garrapolo will be picked up and will lead them to afc divisional game
Bills specific
Gabriel Davis will have more yards and TD’s than Diggs at end of season
OJ Howard and Dawson Knox will make up most of our offense
The Buffalo Bills will be the number 1 defense in the nfl (Frazier will be hired as a head coach after this season) and our defense will be the reason we WIN the super bowl over the Dallas cowboys
Denver takes that division. Chargers never live up to hype, raiders hired “cheater” McDaniels, and KC allowed their main weapon outside of Mahomes to bolt. Denver for the win, and it won’t be close (*due to defense)
