  1. I agree, I'm praying for either Robert Quinn or Nick Fairley at 3.
  2. Just providing the video. Don't shoot the messenger. http://blogs.nfl.com/2011/02/25/a-lot-of-good-in-gabbert/
  3. Ok first off your entitled to whatever opinion you like but I have to say that is one hell of a sterotype. I like MMA a lot and don't own any tap-out or affliction t-shirts. Some of us just respect it and enjoy it for what it is. I'm a big boxing fan also but I get turned off by all the politics. There is potential for one of the greatest boxing matches in history with Pacquiao/Mayweather and the promters/fighters can't figure out a way to make it work. Its been like that for 30 years now.
  4. I totally agree with you about his punching power when he fought at heavier weights. He was def at his best when he was a middleweight. That being said it would be interesting to see how much power he would have with 4oz gloves on. I was hoping to get to see that when he fought Randy Couture but he never even got a chance to swing on him.
  5. So were about half the guys he fought as a Heavyweight in boxing. James Toney is way passed his prime but lets not sell the guy short, he would knock Marcellus out in about a minute (especially with 4 oz MMA gloves). As a boxer he compiled a record of 72-6 and fought guys like Roy Jones Jr., Holyfield, and Hasim Rahman. I don't think he'd be worried about fighting Marcellus.
  6. MMA is awesome. MMA > Boxing. That is all. Well Marcellus is about as much of an MMA fighter as Tony is. Tony proved that against Couture. As washed up as Tony is, he'd still knock out Marcellus.
  7. I listen to Tony Softli all the time here in St. Louis. He's really well connected guy and even interview for the vacant 49ers GM job recently. Basically if Softli is reporting this I'd bet my right arm that its 100% true but I'd also bet every GM in the NFL was also aware of this situation.
  8. We should have just shot them all and thrown them into the ocean....or just not have shot them, handcuffed their hands and feet and thrown them into the ocean.
  9. Hated: Maybin, Whitner, Parrish, McGahee, McCargo, McKelvin, Losman Liked: M. Williams, Lynch, Spiller
  10. So what's the over/under on years it takes him to file bankruptcy after he's done playing? I'll set it at 5 and take the under. My linkhttp://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/What-lockout-McKinnie-reportedly-dropped-100-0?urn=nfl-324307
  11. What game were you watching? He threw an awful pic at the very end that cost Mizzou the game but other than that he was on fire. He completed 41/57 passes for 450 yards. Yes he threw two ints compared to one TD but one pick was a ball that hit the WR in the hands and got knocked into the air(and it was in the endzone so it should have been a TD not a INT). I think Blaine is a little overrated but he lit that bowl game up and if you weren't impressed with a QB who completed 72% of his passes for 450 yards than you are just really hard to impress.
  12. Yeah Ziggy Hood was regarded as penetrating 4-3 DT. He made the transition just fine.
  13. nevermind thought you were talkin bout Fairley, didn't realize you meant whitner....
  14. Whatever you do don't google his name in hopes of finding a scouting report. Apparently there is a gay porn star with the same name and google instant search just pulled up some images I really didn't want to see......time to turn the safesearch feature back on.
  15. Yeah because its not like Stroud wasn't playing out of position and wasn't hurt all the time. I like Marcus but he's not the same player he once was and doesn't really fit our defense. This is not that big of a deal IMO.
  16. I'd rather have Quinn but I'd be cool with Miller. I think 1 of the two would be around at 7. SF might also be interested in moving in front of Arz to grab either Gabbert or Newton.
  17. I agree 100%. I don't get the top 5 love he's been getting from all the media outlets. I think he'll be a good player but he'd be a major reach at #3 IMO.
  18. 1. I'd rather have....Quinn, Dareus, Green, Von Miller 2. 3. I'd rather have....Marvin Austin, Drake Nevis, Kendrick Ellis, Bruce Carter, or Donte Moch Defense Defense Defense
  19. Not me, I wouldn't care if he caught beatings like that everyday for the rest of the time he's in prision. The guy brutally murdered two people by stabbing them to death and then got away with it......I feel no empathy for him.
  20. Then he went on to piss and moan about how if they are locked out, they will have to pay for their own health insurance, blah, blah, blah. BOO FREAKIN' HOO! Even if it means losing the season, I hope the owners lock them out and make them eventually come crawling back. :censored: Umm, isn't that what a lot of people do. I know at my job when we have a great year and I'm a part of that success I usually get a raise or bonus of some sort. :censored: So in the great dispute between the Billionaires and the Millionaires you side with the Billionaires....got ya.
  21. I'm not raggin on Coy Wire, good for him that he got re-signed but I don't think he's a good example of what you are talking about considering he doesn't even start on their defense. Jim Leonard is a better example.
