I don't know much about Transnistria, but I can all but assure you that Russia won't dare go against any NATO nation. Ukraine isn't in NATO and is embezzling what we're sending there because they have been and always will be corrupt. Sending more good money after bad on the notion that Putin will then be emboldened to attack NATO countries, when he can't even handle Ukraine, is silly.

I have a Generac 7000W gas-only generator. I wanted tri fuel but had to settle for this. I've used it once for an extended period in the past decade. The problem I've had for the past 4 years or so is that despite starting it every month, I sometimes can't get it to run and need to pull the carburetor and clean it. Get one with more power than you think you need and an electric start. Also get an interlock installed on your panel. That way you don't need to have a sub-panel. It will save you a ton of money and allow you to pick and choose what you want to turn on. And have an outlet installed outside your house to plug the generator into.

Russia couldn't do anything about Finland once they were engaged and struggling with Ukraine. Finland was smart to wait/until the war broke out. Now they have full NATO backing. Russia invaded Ukraine because a) they were once part of the USSR, b) they did it before and c) they over-estimated their power. As I said, Russia won't be invading any more countries.

What Russian disinformation? That Ukraine is in cahoots with Nazis? It's a minor point. No one supports their invasion of Ukraine. But at some point you have to realize when you've lost, and when the money you're sending is being stolen more than used for what it was intended. Yes. Do you honestly believe Russia will try to invade other countries?

It's low but it's not a distraction. It's just another example of where things are going.

The best thing overall would have been to not flirt with a corrupt country like Ukraine entering NATO. And if the war has proven anything, it's that Russia doesn't have the ability to expand their aggression to other countries, if they're having so much trouble with a country like Ukraine.

Many things can be scrutinized at the same time.
