  1. We'll see. Still a lot of time between now and training camp.
  2. That's why I want him focusing on one position in his rookie year. That position being safety where IMHO he's needed most.
  3. For starters, the plane, if it is being gifted (and that's in dispute), will be used for Official duties and then retired to his library from what I'm reading, i.e. it's not a personal gift. Second of all, it will be gutted and rebuilt so that any spy equipment (which is my biggest concern) will be gone. I mean, do you think that he'll now be a Qatari puppet?
  4. Yeah but Bowers is just 230#...
  5. Dillard and Reagor. Woof. Both high 20's picks.
  6. Pathetic. It's why they're not worth listening to anymore.
  7. Yeah, you think they would install them next year because they’ll be exposed to harsh elements this coming winter. Do you think it’s possible they’re far ahead of schedule?
  8. I think it's more that they want to give him as much time as possible to ensure it has healed. Not participating physically in rookie minicamp isn't making or breaking his season.
  9. If he's decent in coverage then I heard wrong and I'd agree that his experience would make him the better candidate.
  10. Yeah, out of the top 6 spots, only the 4th (Browns' 2nd pick in that draft) was possibly in play. Beane had a deal with the Broncos for 6th overall if Chubb wasn't there and when that fell through he traded into 7 when the Bucs were on the clock. So the question is whether he could have gotten to 4th overall, but I think the Browns were looking to rebuild quickly and get the best CB.
  11. I was looking at that and saying "they need to install 60,000 of those suckers!" And I'm sure some are more elaborate.
  12. Why Forrest over Hancock? From what I've read, Forrest isn't the greatest cover safety. BTW, any word about the 2nd day (yesterday) of rookie minicamp?
  13. Josh always had the accuracy; it was the consistency of his mechanics that was the issue. The others guys just don't have the accuracy even with consistency of their mechanics. As I said above, you could say that every with a franchise QB not taken with the first 2 picks weren't "sure" since they didn't move into the top spots to get their QB.
  14. Because the options at safety are limited. He and Bishop IMHO are the guys I want to see win the starting spots.
  15. You could say the same for almost every team with a franchise QB (except for the Bengals, Texans and seemingly the Commanders).
  16. Beane said Hancock will play NCB and safety. I'm hoping that Hardy seizes the NCB role and allows them to play Hancock exclusively at S.
  17. Yeah but these should be twice as wide and lined with vegan leather...
  18. Yeah, Hancock is being tried at NCB also. I’d say Hardy at NCB.
  19. Get Hairston some reps playing WR... I've been saying that they can easily cut Jackson, Lewis and Ingram and get them on the PS. I think that with the dearth of safeties, Hamlin might make it by default, but I'm hoping someone else outplays him. As for White, he might make it just based on past history. If he shows anything, they might be forced to keep 6 WRs. Maybe. But time will tell who is actually better.
  20. Tiny nit to pick but Hairston is 5'11.25". And I looked at the Pro Bowl CBs from last year and 5'11" was the median height.
  21. That...or just wait 3 weeks. And his dead cap next is just $3.724M.
  22. I'd say DaQuan Jones. His release frees-up $5.5M.
  23. Incentives are typically negotiated between the player and team. Here is a good example of it:
