  1. It's a tradition. I remember when the Chiefs beat us 31-7 in 1966, at War Memorial, to go to the first Super Bowl. We pretty much sucked from then until '73, when we had OJ, the Electric Company, and Lou Saban back. Since '65, it seems like 25 year cycles until we challenge again. So, go ahead and vent!
  2. Might as well throw in the Music City "Miracle"
  3. I think the only defensive starters from those '64 and '65 squads that are still alive are Ron McDole, Butch Byrd, Booker Edgerson, and Hagood Clarke.
  4. We need Cookie Gilchrist on this team..."which one of you mother***kers is next?"
  5. The OL coach needs to fall on his sword.
  6. Too early for comparisons to the late Bubba Smith?
  7. Not to highjack the thread, but watching that video, where Raiders Ben Davidson sacks Jack Kemp and gives Kemp's ankle an extra twist as he gets up. Davidson also broke Joe Namath's jaw, and speared Len Dawson with his helmet in a game made famous after the Chiefs Otis Taylor retaliated and went after Davidson. Davidson was a dirty SOB of a player
  8. Is that Miles Davis on the game commentary? Otto Graham and Marion Motley (Cleveland) were one tough combo to have to stop. Thanks for posting. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
  9. June 15, 2021, the 100th anniversary of Vic Kulbitski's birthday. Vic played fullback for the Buffalo Bills of the All America Conference. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Vic earned a Bachelor's degree in Dairy Science and Cheese Making. He opened the scoring with a three yard plunge, as the Bills knocked of the Chicago Rockets. 28-20, before a record pro football crowd in attendance of 33,648 at Buffalo's Civic (War Memorial) Stadium on September 14, 1947. https://fultonhistory.com/Newspapers 21/Buffalo NY Courier Express/Buffalo NY Courier Express 1947/Buffalo NY Courier Express 1947 - 6404.pdf https://fultonhistory.com/Newspapers 21/Buffalo NY Courier Express/Buffalo NY Courier Express 1947/Buffalo NY Courier Express 1947 - 6399.pdf https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vic_Kulbitski
  10. I know it's a highlight reel, but Jim Harris looked like the real deal before that season-ending injury against Oakland. In the season opener, you could tell even Broadway Joe was a fascinated spectator when OJ got the ball. Could have won that game. Kemp looked like a bum on that swing pass to the right flat that got picked for six.
  11. I really liked her as Tris in the "Divergent" trilogy.
  12. Flores came to the Bills at an inopportune time; their best playmakers from the championship years had aged past their prime. I think the Bills won four games in '67, and one game in '68. He's a good guy, and I'm happy for him achieving this honor.
  13. Listening to Beane, Milano is gone

  15. Good on Belichick, saying "he wants to remain true to the people, team and country that I love".

  17. Quarter centuries,...how the Bills roll, it seems. It was the same after the 1965 AFL Championship. It took 25 years after that to win the AFC, and go to Super Bowl XXV.
  18. I wonder if moving from D Line coach Bill Teerlinck to Eric Washington plays into the performance drop-off? Honestly, I'm tired of the Carolina connection.
  19. Yeah, he was pushed back ten yards there.
  20. This D-line has regressed,...Eric Washington?
  21. They definitely midd Feliciano's nasty on that O-line.
  22. Jerry Hughes has taken himself right out of the play a couple times.
  23. Paying customers should not be subjected the the social justice stuff. There's plenty of social media platforms for that. End of story!
