He's supply depth at a minimum. Once he gets his feet under him, he'd be the best CB on the team.

Definitely worth it! Pretty much no matter the talent, I can never see giving up more than a 3rd in the supplemental draft. I would put in a 3rd round claim without hesitation, though he could likely be taken for a 2nd.

3 Days Togo; Bills rumors of 4/25...

I don't have time to look it up, but wasn't there also a scenario in that article of the Pats trading their first 3 picks to the Bills for the 3rd because they want Von Miller? -
This year I'm going to attempt excitement followed by hope, followed by disappointment. Change things up a bit.

Yes, but it also means the start of linking to every site's draft grades, and the over reaction to every opinion, good or bad.

Speed of growth. Cow's are ruminants, their stomachs are designed to digest grass, not grain. Digesting grain causes a surplus of grain digesting bacteria which poisons the cows. Due to the speed at which corn based diet fattens the cow, they are able slaughter them very young. They have to be able to do that; the cow's systems shut down soon after that slaughter time-frame and they die...usually with unusable meat.

Not sure they have a leg to stand on in a lawsuit. I can see them getting shut down, but doubt they could get anything out of them.

I've seen the same YouTube highlights that everyone else has, and it certainly worries me. But outside of fans (more than just on this site), I haven't heard one bad thing about him. Everyone loves him. Hard to ignore that. -
What caused the war has nothing to do with what I was talking about. But good job on the tirade.

Don't have time to type a lot, but in short, yes. Most of the southern states agreed to the Constitution based on the understanding that state governments would have control of their states with very little interference from the federal government. I know VA, and possible NC but I can't remember for sure, specifically stated that the only way they would ratify was with the understanding that if the federal government tried to instill too much power over them they would secede.

I get your point, but most QB's are good when they have a good OLine and viable targets. -

For someone that seems to like Russel's game so much, you basically disagree with all of his strategies. He always voted out those most dangerous to him (the strongest on his team). Especially in the first season, his most brilliant by far, he basically assured he brought the weakest team to the merge. And he constantly told people he had idols...hell, he relished in it! What exactly is it you like about him? That he uses all of this bad strategy and still gets to the end?

Where are the threads from the previous rounds? It would be nice to actually see the results. Where are the threads from the previous rounds? It would be nice to actually see the results.

There's a book called The Raw Milk Revolution that talk a lot about that. Not a scientifically researched book (for the most part), but a good read. -
If fast food joints can make their products smell like bacon I don't see why it would be tough for an alarm clock to do it.

I don't want Cam and I'm not trying to make an argument for him. But I don't think there is ANY evidence of Nix's opinion on wonderlic scores in relation to draft position. Besides the fact that Nix wasn't the GM at SD so wasn't making the decisions, there's no evidence any of those picks had anything to do with wonderlic scores. I don't know anything about Kaepernick other than what I've read recently, but given how much Gailey and Nix have talked about Fitz's intelligence, I could see that score having an impact if they do in fact decide to take a QB outside of the first round. Given that talent level wouldn't be the overriding factor at that point (nobody outside of the first few picks would be taken because their talent is so high it trumps all other considerations) having QB with the brains to overcome other deficiencies seems to be a logical way to go. Of course the wonderlic doesn't automatically translate to on the field intelligence, but I've always assumed teams have tests to help them gauge such things during their interviews with these players.

Is anyone else starting to feel the way I do about the NFL?

I don't get it. You'd pay for a full game, pay parking, pay for 3 quarters of concessions, and that's supposed to teach someone a lesson? Why pay all that money and lose out on watching the whole game? Doesn't that really hurt the fan more than anything else? I could see if the idea was to boycott one game a year...only season ticket holders show up. Edit: I'll add that in order for this to really make any difference, it would have to be done at home as well. Everyone shuts their TV's off, nobody goes to sports bars, etc... Actually, using the first quarter boycott for television would work FAR better. I still don't think it would do much, but it would be better than the stadium. -

Been so long since I've heard anything but the Andrew Dice Clay version it doesn't even sound right. -
They did EXACTLY the right thing. Ralph hasn't told anyone he has the idol, so as far as they knew Russel had it. In order to make sure the idol wasn't a factor, they split their vote. By doing so, they guaranteed things went their way. Ralph was never in danger as long as they all stuck to the plan, which they did. I love Russell and I'm pissed to see him go. I think it would have been amazing if that lady had turned. That said, these guys did the right thing. They got rid of their biggest threat and can now play the game however they want...and have a couple sacrificial lambs to boot. However, how stupid do you have to be to throw a challenge? Why not just wait until you get there naturally? It's not like they are that much better than the other tribe! These people over-think themselves into stupidity.
