  1. Because it helps you pick up chicks... bfmi(oh) ......
  2. I didn't think the fans were too bad this Saturday. My friends and I were at the Ralph by 3:30 tailgating and partying but none of us were starting fights, screaming obscenities, acting like jackasses, etc. I really expected it to be much worse, but our section was relatively tame. Sure, you get some curse words here and there but that was about the worst I saw all night. In our section there was some kid who just kept screaming "Shannaaaaaaaahan" for about 10 minutes that was a little annoying but I thought it was pretty funny. Actually, I think if the game had meant something, there would have been more "incidents" because there would have been more emotions involvded. Emotions + alcohol = trouble. Hard to get too worked up over a 4-9 team that you knew was going to loose, so might as well enjoy it and make the whole gameday experience worth the ticket $.

  4. Way to completely contradict the main "point" to your post.
  5. The reason that the Lions fans are going with orange is because they're playing the Bengals this week. They're purposely wearing the other team's colors so this actually works out well.
  6. I didn't think we got any compensation at all since they were unrestricted free agents.
  7. Terna Nande is going to be a stud. I've seen the dude play for a few years now and I think he's going to be a steal for whoever takes him. I have no clue how they only give him a 7 out of 10 for strenght though. His bench and squat are pretty impressive.
  8. Sabres hold on 4-3. Nice work boys!
  9. Crap!!! 2 quick Dalls goals 3-2...I hope I didn't jinx em!
  10. 3-0!!! Woo Hoo! Kotalik's shot tipped in by Vanek!
  11. Problem is, I woudn't consider the recent efforts or the likely one on Sat night as "football games."
  12. I don't think so. This city is so hungry for a PLAYOFF team that I think we'd embrace anyone who got us there. If anything, I think those 90's teams combined with the recent ones make us realize how spoiled we were. If we were winning, I think you'd see a lot less bitching.
  13. There better be or else I might be heading back out to the parking lot. I don't think I can stand to watch this team sober....
  14. I was there at game 3. Place was electric. Too bad they didn't win that one, or they would have been in control of the series.
  15. Not sure but go to www.wgr550.com and you can listen to the stream over the net.
  16. Ooh almost forgot. Just tuned in to Rick & Jim over the net. Gotta love that its free unlike the streaming audio for the No Fun League...
  17. He must have not been fully healed from that back injury by the time the season started. Thats the only reason I can think of that would have stopped him from making the team. He could play multiple positions on the line, aparently always knew everyone's blocking assignment (not just his; Princeton grad), and didn't play that bad at LG last year from what I remember. I'd sure as hell rather have him in there for lots les $ than Bennie fuggin Anderson. At the very least, he'd be better use of a roster spot than Greg Jermain or Justin Geisinger.
  18. If that's the case, I say tag him for sure.

  20. We had late 2nd half meltdown today and took a tough loss to Xavier at home. Although we hadn't played too hard of a schedule up until today, we did beat Dayton pretty good (they usually put together a good team) and we lost to Alabama by 6 in our first game after leading late in the 2nd half. It looks like UB is the real deal and will be right there at the top of the MAC. I think it will be us, UB and OU competing for the MAC East div. Should be fun to see how it all unfolds although I must say I'm less confident about our b-ball team than I am about our #2 nationally ranked hockey team! We swept previous #2 Michigan last weekend, then tied #14 St. Lawrence on Fri, and beat #13 Clarkson last night.
  21. Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all night.
  22. John Carrol is near Cleveland.
  23. It doesn't at all, nor did I say that it did. However, the 1st amendment does protect speech that is not considered lible, slander, obscene, or seditious. I would have a hard time believing that a t-shirt that said "I am one of those jerk Bills fans" would qualify as any of those. I'm sure that technically the Bills can regulate what they allow into the stadium, but in this case I think that its pretty much BS and like another poster said, shows how thin-skinned TD is.
  24. That's a bunch of BS. Although I guess it does make sense, considering TD is obviously bigger than the Constitution.
  25. Strike 6: Roscoe "I'm a little teapot" Parrish?
