  1. I dont see how a small layer of foam is supposed to stop the brain from smacking up against the skull when someone's head goes from 60 to 0 instantly. I guess it might help a bit against maybe a helmet-to-helmet type blow. Not sure it matters for Tua ScrambleEggsBrains anyways
  2. "I'd rather be dead than a dork" -Tua, I guess
  3. I thought for sure they would at least trade down in this year's draft in order to snag an extra 1st next year so they had ammo to maneuver and get their guy. Schoen messed this up by being too committed to Jones when he, and Dabol, and ownership know DJ isnt the answer. They can get out of DJ's contract after this year. Should have paid Barkley, then cut DJ this offseason, and then you have a QB on a rookie contract too.
  4. Need some clarification... Looked like that worked because the kicker chipped it instead of topping it and making it bounce high off the ground. I wonder if it was topped and hit the ground first if it would still be fair catchable?
  5. He's definitely a fan favorite, and not just in Buffalo. On the r/nfl subreddit, fans of Lions, Jets, Dolphins, Browns, etc all love him and love his press conferences. edit: And with gems like "You never get fined for over-communicating" it sounds like he'll stay a favorite!
  6. Haha, true true, especially with the NFL media machine. But seriously, I just meant that they are a small market team without any real stars or hot shot coach, and are like the 3rd (or even 4th) talked about team in their crappy division. They shouldnt sneak up on the Bills, but they're definitely sneaking up on the Bills fans who think it will be an easier game.
  7. Get Up is definitely better. Better crew, and for as much a Jets fan as Greeny is, he is usually complaining about their demise and hyping up Josh Allen as the best QB in football. The only one I dont like is Bart Scott, but he is rarely on.
  8. As predicted, the crew is burying the Jets. Rex with an epic rant. Damien Woody saying "they have a decent roster, but no team". You love to see it!
  9. Losing both Kay Adams and (more importantly) Nate Burleson changed everything about that show. Jamie is decent as a host, and probably knows more about football than Kay, but the whole vibe changed. And Nate was just so good he went on to bigger, better things.
  10. Seattle is sneaky good and we have to travel. That will be a tough one. But I love the enthusiasm and am hoping for the best.
  11. Ehh, I hear ya, but Belichick is too old, and we have to hire an Offensive guy as next HC, or we're just going to lose him again in 2 years when he and Josh have success again.
  12. If I were a team mate during that speech, I'd probably have retired on the spot.
  13. The freeze frame on the preview makes me so sick to my stomach I cant even press play. Dude is weird.
  14. He needs less ayahuasca and magic mud and more cigs and PBR
  15. lol, thought this was relevant from the Dolphins subreddit
  16. Agreed. NE is settling into the spot everyone expected them to be this year. A clear contender for the #1 overall pick.
  17. Jameis Winston might be the weirdest dude I've ever heard speak. Going all the way back to his cringe pep talks at FSU. He has such a strange, creepy, weird demeanor.
  18. Considering the beginning of games is usually pretty well scripted based on the installed game plan, it sounds like the coaches need to figure out how to kickstart themselves.
  19. He only has 10 more games to catch up to Josh's 67-23 record...
  20. Mayo agrees lol
  21. I dont mind Jets talk as long as it is about their complete and utter failure.
  22. Yeah, they talked about it postgame. Josh checked out of the play and Cooper didnt know the check. He turned to Coleman and threw his hands up, and Coleman just pointed at the middle of the field so that's where he ran. Next thing ya know he has a Josh fastball coming at him. I give him credit for making that catch at all.
  23. Would be epic, but there is way too much easy money left on that table. These high-paid old man QBs are always best off riding it out as long as a team will pay them $50M/yr just for showing up. Same thing that happened with Matt Ryan and the Falcons/Colts. I dont blame them. Lot of money. Even if they already have a lote of money.
