Are The Bears Wrecking Caleb Williams?
DrDawkinstein replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
As of right now, Yes they are wrecking him. To no one's surprise. It's the Bears. Shouldve fired the entire staff before the draft and let a new HC and GM have a crack. Still wouldve picked Caleb but it wouldve given him stability in coaching. Now he's in the Browns model where he'll deal with a new HC and/or OC every year for 4 years until he leaves and goes somewhere else. -
But doesnt tell me anything I didnt already know either
-
Exactly. I think it's more that "If Mack is getting so involved, we have other problems to deal with". Mack doesnt cause Josh's lower passer rating. Whatever is bringing down Josh is also causing more targets to Mack. Which I assume would be the other team's game plan.

Week 11 - Chiefs at Bills Game Week Thread
DrDawkinstein replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yesterday morning around 9am, Greeny reported on GetUp! that the Bills were favored by 2.5. Sunday night I saw Bills -1. Never saw Chiefs favored, but Im not looking that hard. -
I owe Mack a small apology. I thought he was just going to be another Trent Sherfield, and we were going to be in serious trouble if he got any real playing time, but he's been much better than that when called upon.

Austin Johnson, the league’s new lock down corner
DrDawkinstein replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
For what it's worth, one of the top threads on Gang Green right now is a long thread about Sauce, and most Jets fans wanting to let him walk when his contract is up. Classic. -
I didnt look through the thread too much. Is anyone talking about how the Bears are ruining yet another QB? Big oof losing to the 3rd QB taken...
-
Just checked it out and they are already to the point they are talking about letting Sauce Gardner walk since there's no point in keeping him when the team sucks so bad. Warms my heart. LOL

This was suppose to be a rebuild year
DrDawkinstein replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right. I think there are a couple other threads on it, but a lot depends on how Sunday goes with the Chiefs. We win and we stay in the hunt for #1. We lose, and we can kick it into cruise control and focus on keeping people healthy for the playoffs. Not that I think Josh, McD, and the boys would dial it back that much. I'm sure they'll try to win every game possible at least until that last week. But with the history of that turf in Detroit, I'm good with throwing in the Practice Squad if we're in that position. -

There is no playoff doom with the current state of the rest of the division. Even if we lose the next 4 in a row, we win the 2 Pats and the Jets game and Div is still ours. Heck, it might be ours during those 4 losses! I think the biggest issue the team will face will be when do we start resting guys without it being too much time off. -
Do they tho? Do they? 🤔

Lets gooooooo How much electricity does Bank of America, Wells Fargo, HSBC, JPMorgan, Chase, CCB, ICBC, etc all use to power data centers, servers, office buildings, branches, etc? edit: AI answer: According to available data, the world's largest banks collectively use around 258.85 terawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity per year, with the majority of this energy consumption coming from their data centers

Bills are 8-2 for the first time in over 30 years

The Pegulas know the same secret Ralph knew: The entire WNY region is hooked on the heroin known as the Bills. -

Bruh, Terry isnt listening to fans on his HC hire. There is no leverage. And frankly, rightfully so. As much as I question certain things (and often McD), I'd feel even worse about the future of the team if Pegula was like "People werent buying PSLs so I fired McD!" -

I unfortunately agree. -

I dont think anyone, even the biggest McD hater, would expect McD to be fired midseason even if they lose 52-3 next week. Even if they are talking about it. But it would add to the case made later on if/when we have a typical playoff coaching exit. -

McD cant disprove his ceiling until he breaks through his ceiling. Correct. -

KC fans are talking the same way as Bills fans. The only difference is they get to end their posts with "... but I'm sure Reid and Mahomes will figure it out". -

If they come out unprepared and unmotivated next week, then it will be deserved. Not expecting that since we usually play the Chiefs very well in the regular season. -

Agreed. Get a seat at the table and then it's a whole new season where anything can happen. -
11/10/24 Game 10 GAMEDAY! Bills at Colts Post Game Thread
DrDawkinstein replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seems to be what happens when Josh is trying too hard to compensate for WRs. Reminded me of the Texans game when he wanted to show the world (*cough* DIGGS *cough*) that he didnt need top WRs. Then today he seemed to be trying to hard to make up for the lack of WRs. Taking chances with arm arrogance and making bad decisions. I'll take the win, and hope we clean it up.
