  1. I understand the need to keep her identity private, but I'm dying to know who the female reporter is, just to see if she is really "career ending mistake" worthy. What a dumbass Porter is. Didnt we all learn from Brett Favre?!?
  2. While true in professional wrestling, boxing, and MMA, not so much in the NFL. To be the best in the NFL, you need to win a Super Bowl, against whatever team they field against you (injury or otherwise), under whatever circumstances the universe provides (strike year, pandemic, etc). I dont care if they start Mahomes grandma. I hope Hughes ends her career on our way to a Lombardi trophy and won't ever feel bad about it. It all counts as a Super Bowl win, and in a matter of weeks, no one will care or remember the details other than SUPER BOWL CHAMPS.
  3. Because most people saw it for what it was, an intense but jovial moment in the heat of the game. He didnt attack the coach, any more than Josh beaning Diggs with a ball during warmups is attacking Diggs. It's football. Grow up and get some thicker skin.
  4. In the 4 games you cited, we're 2-2. Not exactly what I would call "kryptonite".
  5. This right here. The only thing that "has to" happen is the Bills win. However they get there doesnt matter. All passes, zero passes, 3 special teams TDs... doesnt matter. There are no style points. Just win.
  6. Ugly shirt, and a super sketchy site.
  7. Didnt Kelly get concussed pretty famously in SB27? Edit: Looks like it was SB26. Doesnt remember 4th quarter. Even went to the wrong hotel after the game! wow https://sports.yahoo.com/news/concussed-jim-kelly-went-back-to-wrong-hotel-after-super-bowl-xxvi-210746612.html
  8. I took their phrase from last week when they said Josh Allen would "slap the crows". All weekend, I was yelling "LETS SLAP SOME *****IN CROWS!"
  9. Going deep into the playoffs pays off. Couldnt get the interviews done and teams wanted to make moves. Plus, I think it's a good thing for all the prospects on the Bills staff. They'll be in a much better negotiating position next year when "Super Bowl Champ" is on their resume. edit: Now I'm worried about losing Dorsey to an OC position on one of these new staffs, and then not having an heir apparent for when Daboll leaves next year. My selling point to Dorsey to get him to stay is, the Bills OC spot will be a regular gravy train to HC opportunities. If he goes to OC on a new staff for a crappy team now, it's likely that staff is canned in a few years and then he's going backwards in his career.
  10. Easter is early! Touchdown Jesus has been RESURRECTED!
  11. Not surprised scammers are starting to try to take advantage of the Mafia. Side note: Did the Jackson donation thing seem... "forced" to anyone else? Almost like folks started doing it just to keep up some appearance of an ESPN story? Didn't seem to fit with the way the other, more organic, donation drives have gone. JMO
  12. All good. Lots of bad info spreading out there. Most by the Chiefs. That is a "sleeper hold". It takes a longer time being held in that position to knock someone out. It is certainly not instantly or in the 1-2 seconds Mahomes neck was torqued. He did not pass out from lack of blood flow to the brain. He was knocked out by a concussion.
  13. That's not a thing tho. There is no nerve that knocks you out and gives you wobbly legs, or the "fencing response" we saw from him. That is all concussion.
  14. I'm guessing both. But the knocked out and wobbly legs were from the concussion. If they were from a spinal injury then that is a WAY BIGGER problem than we've ever seen.
  15. I havent gone through all 14 pages of the thread, but someone has pointed out that KC's "explanation" is complete bull *****, right? There is no magical nerve in your neck that, when pinched, makes you pass out and gives you wobbly legs for minutes afterwards. This isnt Star Trek, there is no Vulcan Death Grip. Mahomes got concussed. If they want to rush him back out onto the field Sunday, fine. We'll see how his noodle brain holds up.
  16. LETS GOOOOOOOOOO Love you all. Back to the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP!
  17. I dont know which garbage thread to document this in, but wanted to get ahead of Trumps bull#### spin that is coming. Dude has no one left to help him so he is now meeting with the MyPillow CEO. Who was dumb enough to bring his notes outside with him on coffee break. So photographers could zoom in and get a look at their plan... "...foreign interference in the election. Trigger..." "...powers. Make clear that this is China/Iran..." "...used domestic actors." "...martial law if necessary..." "...Kash PAtel to CIA Acting..." Dont believe any of the lies they are going to try to use to start a war, or declare martial law.
  18. I could agree with this if you said Hyde instead of Edmunds.
  19. Snow and weather usually favors the Running team. I hope being a Florida boy is enough to slow Jackson down.
  20. The 9ers are getting 2 3rds for Saleh being hired. The Rams should get one as well for Holmes being hired by the Lions. If the Falcons hire Fontenot as GM, the Saints will get one as well. The 3rd round is going to need its own day by the time all the hirings are done!
  21. If you are going to mention the Rams game, you have to list the ridiculous "interception" call where Kroft makes the catch and the DB grabs the ball as they are on their way to the ground. Every other time in NFL history, the ball is given to the WR. Except this time.
  22. He's 22nd in yards, 24th in attempts, 11th in rating, and 33rd in yards/game (less than 200yds/game, only Cam and Tua averaged less). I know his numbers are low due to how they run that offense, but they run the offense that way due to his abilities (read: limitations). I'd say we estimate him just fine.
  23. Shoulda made this a poll. My heart tells me Allen, and I think he is the most deserving. But I could see Cleveland do something real dumb with Baker's contract just because they are so hyped right now.
