  1. I second this man's request, if anyone has a link or has it dvr'd and wants to post it somewhere for us technologically handicapped losers.
  2. I didn't hear anything about Lynch being hurt. They always put Fred in at the end of the games, so Marshawn stays unhurt, just like he did today.
  3. Actually his Marshawn impression was spot on.
  4. I feel bad for the guy. He's a really solid player who got off to a bad start with the bengals, left there right before they got temporarily good, went to a supposed up and coming bills team that never got it done, then went to the eagles who have traditionally been good the last few years, and now he's in san fran, so it doesn't look like he's gonna make it to the playoffs this year either. He's earned it. He should get to play in the playoffs at least once.
  5. I'm with you man. I thought they were delicious. That was when I was 15 though, so I might not think they're so yummy anymore.
  6. Someone who wants to get paid.
  7. Very true. Let's hope he takes one to the house this weekend. I think it's gonna be a close game, and special teams could make the difference in this one. There was a thread bashing Leodis right after the STL game last weekend, bashing his cover abilities. It's like give him a minute to actually do something before throwing him off the bus. I hope he does well this weekend.
  8. Wow. That might be a little much. I remember Eric as being a team first guy all the way. This one episode is probably just a case of a once great wide receiver who had past his prime being upset more than anything at the fact that his skills had diminished to a point that he couldn't be a game breaking wide receiver anymore. His reaction was probably just a psychological defense stemming from his frustration over not being as effective as a player anymore. I'm sure that is hard for a lot of players to deal with. I can't see completely trashing Eric Moulds over that, after how good he was for the Bills during his career here.
  9. Willis: Lot of talent. Zero heart.
  10. It says Sept. 25th, but all the records are up to date. We'll see if it gets changed.
  11. Get your head out of your a$$. Just because he isn't racking up sacks doesn't mean he isn't making meaningful tackles and putting pressure on the quarterback. He's doing fine; and there's no way Ellis will be starting over Aaron next year.
  12. Haha. I remember the helmets and their old logo. Didn't remember the red jerseys though.
  13. Great post. Your memory is better than mine. I know James is going to be great, I'm just lamenting over what could have been huge for him and for our team.
  14. While it may have been a rude way to say it, he has a point. While not all balls that hit you in the hand should be caught per se, all balls that hit you in the hands could be caught, and I'm sure that any WR in the NFL would agree to that. I'm pretty sure all 4 of those balls hit Hardy in the hands today.
  15. Actually I thought I remembered it being against the chiefs in the clip, or did the patriots used to wear red pants?
  16. I'm certainly not calling him a bust, and I didn't really think anyone else was. But is it so much to ask of him to catch one of those 4 balls? He's obviously capable of making those plays and the coaching staff and Trent had the faith in him to call the plays to him. I know he'll be fine, I just was disappointed today because I really thought it was his day and so did the staff. If he makes a big play at the beginning of the game, we come out of that game feeling like it was a much more complete victory, because we wouldn't be sitting here saying... "If only we had played better in the first half" because that one play would have made it a good first half of football. That's the difference one play makes. Next week...
  17. Yeah dude, that pass was so money. If only I wasn't 9 at the time I might remember it happening.
  18. Good points, but contrary to whatever any coach in the league would say, I think there are easy wins to be had in the NFL. I think there are teams that are just that much better than other teams. I'm not sure if we are one, but I think we are capable of being one. You're right though, we are still very young, and still learning, but at least they are winning while they are doing it.
  19. I was predicting a big day for James today. I thought he'd have 4 to 6 catches for 40-60 yards with at least one touchdown. He obviously was in the game plan, as we attempted to throw to him 4 times on the first two drives with zero success. While all the balls that were thrown to him were not perfect strikes, I feel like all 4 of them were catchable balls, but he didn't come down with a single one of them. The coverage was good also, but I feel like he's got to come down with one of those balls. He was then abandoned for the rest of the day. If he makes one of those big catches at the beginning of the game I feel like today's game is completely different. The bills get out to an early lead, and carry it all day long for an easy victory; or at least easier than it turned out to be. What do you think, were they bad throws, or does James need to do something different to make a play in one of those spots? An aside: I missed the first 3 or 4 minutes of the game because the bar wasn't on top of things, and I was wondering what happened at the very beginning of the game. We started watching a couple plays before we kicked the first FG. The reason I ask is because I was not anticipating the Bills receiving the ball to start the second half.
  20. Hell yes it was. I still don't know how he did that. That could be a TD if he doesn't make that tackle. He's been absolutely huge for us in spots this year. I'm sorry for ever having doubted him.
  21. True sir true. I don't understand why the Bills NEVER do what they're supposed to do in any given game.... we're going up against the worst run D in the league; huge day for our run game? no... heavily favored against the raiders; put up a lot of points? no... going up against one of the worst d lines in the league; why don't we give up 4 sacks I'll take today's win. We made enough plays to win it, but we just weren't really in sync most of the day. We don't win that game against a better club. I know we're all being really picky about these wins, but I feel like this team is good enough and smart enough to dominate games the whole way through. Both the offense and defense look great in flashes. Hopefully they'll be able to start putting it together consistently.
  22. A lot of people are calling the hit dirty... I don't think it was a dirty hit. It was a really hard hit, he got sandwiched pretty hard, but no one was calling donte whitner's hit on chad johnson dirty last year when whitner and coy wire knocked him out. It's football, it happens. I'm really glad he's okay. It was very scary, and you hate to see it happen (especially when it would have gotten me like 10 fantasy points if he hauled in that TD), but a dirty hit? I don't know about that.
  23. Fred is great in space and receiving, but as far as a normal run straight up the middle off left guard, he's usually not as successful. Marshawn can be much more effective grinding out the tough yards in the middle, and he's got a nose for the endzone. Freddie had a great run today that energized the team and really lifted us up when we needed it, and that was huge, but it was also atypical given the situation. The run blocking was excellent on that play and he made a great move to freeze the cornerback which assured him the goal line. I think the coaching staff tends to be a little more creative with the plays run to Fred, because with Marshawn they know they can just have him run straight up the middle and he'll be successful for 4 to 5 yards consistently.
  24. Kelly the fair and balanced dog=Jim Kelly
  25. But the ball never touched the ground, and when the ball was clearly in someone's possession, it was in the defender's hands. I thought that it should have been called a catch and Lee was down by contact, but if the ruling was that he didn't have possession, it doesn't automatically become incomplete because the ball never hit the ground.
