  1. Baltimore's teams under his watch(and Ozzie Newsome's drafting) were loaded with oodles of All-Pro and even Hall of Fame talent. Even Norv Turner could have produced siimilar results. Billick preens for the camera way, way, to much, and I'm tellng you right now, Ralph would not put up with him.
  2. UGHHH. Billick is nothing more than an arrogant, ASS-CLOWN and I have a very hard time seeing Ralph sign off on even interviewing him. Remember: Ralph likes "nice" guys as his coach and Billick really doesn't fit that profile. Billick is the furthest thing from an offensive guru and infact he is just plain offensive. Next.
  3. Even crazier....Sam Bradford falls to the second round and in your words: Bills swoop in and take advantage.
  4. Agreed. I hope the reporter didn't spend his entire day working this story. Where is Joe Logan when you need him?
  5. Why settle for only one pick? Maybe we could get them to throw in a 2nd, 3rd and 4rth rounder. ( Hey, that Vincent Jackson guy at WR would be a nice throw in too!)
  6. So Frazier turned down the opportunity to interview for the Seahawks after already interviewing for the Bills HC position. The last time this happened in Bills history- was when Gregg Williams turned down the Browns after already interviewing with the Bills. We all know what happened then.
  7. Considering Alexander rushed for a total of 24 yards the remainder of his career after leaving Seattle-- dumping him was a smart move to say the least.
  8. Seattle grossly overpaid for Peterson, asked him to take a pay cut,he wouldn't, so they dumped him on the Lions. They got a player and a draft choice in return. That compares very little with Bills cash to crap philosophy which permeates all aspects of the organization.
  9. Well for starters- Paul Allen doesn't follow the "cash to crap" philosophy that Wilson and his lackeys have implemented with the Bills. That is a big, big difference.
  10. I dont know if Overdorf does. But I do know Steve Taker, Mark Kelso and Jim Kelly live in East Aurora.
  11. Doc: You speak of Buffalo like it's Calcutta. Are you really a Bills fan?
  12. Please no poker playing references. During Tom Donahoe's reign of error as GM, he was constantly referred to as a "Master Poker Player" here at TBD. When Donahoe's card game was over he proved to be in way over his head. Besides, in his introductory press conference, even Nix said he would never be mistaken for the smartest guy in the room.
  13. IMHO having Ice here makes this board a better place. Red ass and all.
  14. Ditto. Wolf could be hired to lead the search for GM and do an organizational review, etc. but is a bit long in the tooth to take on the job himself. Last year Cleveland hired Wolf to perform this exact function, but Randy Lerner did not take his recommendation and instead hired Kokanis and Mangini. Who did Wolf recommend? Bill Polian protege David Gettleman who is currently the Director of Pro Personnel for the New York Giants.
  15. That's a shame, because both Bradford and Clausen are far better prospects than McCoy is, and both will be drafted MUCH higher.
