  1. >>>>>If we would have drafted him in the third round – which that’s probably where he should have gone, maybe third or fourth round – he may have still been in the league today as a backup. But don’t back yourself in a corner or of overdraft because of need.”<<<<< How was Whaley backed into a corner if HE didn't draft him? Sure, blame it on a dead guy. The fact is that he was an inadequate GM, and I'm being kind. Whaley had less discipline than a kid in a candy store. He couldn't trade away draft picks fast enough and hurt the team by doing so. Ultimately, he was just about as bad as Levy, and I'm talking Rich Kotite level horrible. The posters on @Virgil's mock were/are better GMs than Doug Whaley.
  2. I am NOT being a wiseass Bro, but is there really a condo in Baltimore worth 5 million dollars?
  3. Gotta find a woman be good to me, Won't hide my liquor try to serve me tea, Cause I'm a stone jack baller and my heart is true And I'll give everything that I got to you, yes I will. 4. Nah, he will probably be winning but they will fix the outcome.
  5. Hard to say Rico. I'm sure his phone is ringing off the hook every day with multiple offers. He is just taking a long time to decide.
  6. Good for him. Why shouldn't he get it? Enough men get taken to the cleaners. Times have changed, no?
  7. Well my Mama told me, my Papa told me too Now my Mama told me, Papa told me too That I shouldn't be here tryin' to sing these railroad blues Wish I had listened to what my Mama said Wish I had listened to what my Mama said And I wouldn't be here tryin' to sleep in this cold iron bed
  8. Yeah, I would say that Baltimre needs more help in urban planning, no?
  9. How are things working out for her in Baltimore? 😮
  10. Same here. Mallett had one of the best arms I have ever seen. When he played at Arkansas, I saw him throw a 50 yard post pattern on a straight line with almost no air under it. He did it flat footed, standing still. Mallett was said to have many issues, to include behavioral problems and drug use. His failure as a player was not due to a lack of talent.
  11. It's not unusual to be loved by anyone It's not unusual to have fun with anyone But when I see you hanging about with anyone It's not unusual to see me cry, I wanna die
  12. I walked her home and she held my hand I knew it couldn't be just a one-night stand So I asked to see her next week and she told me I could (I asked to see her and she told me I could) Something tells me I'm into something good (Something tells me I'm into something) (Something tells me I'm into something, ahhh)
  13. If you had just a minute to breathe And they granted you one final wish Would you ask for something like another chance Or something sim'lar as this Don't worry too much It'll happen to you As sure as your sorrows are joys And the thing that disturbs you is only the sound of The low spark of high-heeled boys
  14. Hear the shoutin' from the mountains on out to the sea No two ways about it, people have to be free (they gotta be free) Ask me my opinion, my opinion will be Natural situation for a man to be free
  15. See, my old man's got a problem He lives with the bottle, that's the way it is He says his body's too old for working His body's too young to look like his My mama went off and left him She wanted more from life than he could give I said, somebody's got to take care of him So I quit school and that's what I did
  16. Sorry Bro. I would hate to get arrested, or even summonsed by the 10 second police. I just looked outside and didn't see them; maybe I'm safe.
  17. How was he a racist? Did he hate white people? Seriously, I don't know what you are talking about.
  18. Deacon Jones belongs in this conversation too.
  19. I knew a man that I did not care for And then one day, this man gave me a call We sat and talked about things on our mind And now this man, he is a friend of mine Reach out in the darkness Reach out in the darkness Reach out in the darkness And you may find a friend
  20. I don't care about any other team. I root for all Alabama players but I suppose that my favorite is Derrick Henry. He visited a childrens hospital while at the combines and seems to really be one of the better people on the planet.
  21. That night we fell in love Beneath the stars above That was a lovely summer night Remember then, then Then, then, then
