  1. Way more than the team will spend.
  2. Arnold is on record as wanting two teams. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2430018 I know it's an old article, but they've been talking about a team(s) in LA for years. The whole problem with Buffalo is our lack of corporations for box seats. Unless we can overcome that, I don't think this team will stay. The new owner (when Ralph passes on) would sit on the franchise until the economy gets better and relocate in a heartbeat. Some city will pay for an NFL club. Maybe, just maybe this recession will have long lasting effects on how corporations spend their money and this is just a moot point.
  3. Yeah I probably went a bit overboard. I was driven by the lack of interest by Ralphie in improving this team. I will follow the Bills, but I won't get myself wrapped up in how good or bad they are. And bad is what they will be.
  4. Your right. I'll be watching the draft and seeing who the Bills draft. That's a no brainer. Only thing is, I DON'T CARE WHO THEY DRAFT!! I watch the draft because I enjoy it. I don't care what the Bills do. I don't care about the Bills. I will follow the team. I will continue to follow this board, and post to it. Only thing is I CAN'T CARE ABOUT THIS TEAM ANYMORE! I can't continue to give a cr@p about this team. I can't.
  5. If we're bad enough, can we get the first two draft picks??
  6. I will officially become a "bandwagon" fan this year. Whomever is in the Superbowl, the AFC or NFC team will be my team next year! ONLY way to follow a winner!
  7. I'm sorry if this type of message has been posted before, but I don't even know what to say. I AM SO ANGRY WITH THIS DECISION! I loved this team. I bleed Bills red and blue for the past 28 plus years of my life, way back to Fergy, Butler, Villapiano, Smerlas, Romes to the Super Bowl years (too many players to mention), to Flutie, to Losman and to Lynch. I cannot care about this team any longer. I will not give a cr*p what this owner and his band of merry "insiders" do any longer. I will not care if this team comes or go's. I will not care if this team plays 1 or 2 or all of their games in Toronto. I will not care if any of our players run over pedestrians any longer. I will not care what this team does with it's 11th round pick. I will not care who the QB is. I will not care who we get in free agency. I can't do this anymore..... I will continue to read these boards and post my opinions, but..... I WILL NOTE CARE ABOUT THIS TEAM ANY LONGER!!
  8. I can't believe that FOR A SECOND that Ralph thinks this is really a good move! If the poor coaching on Sunday was an aberration, and not status quo for a 5-1 start to a 7-9 finish, fine. But Sunday was an absolute abomination, absolute status quo for what this coaching staff COULD NOT DO for the entire season and that is COACH!! I am so angry I don't even know what to say!
  9. 3-13. Wins against KC, Cleveland and a lucky break against another team. WE WILL be swept by the AFC again! I am pretty angry with the decision to keep DJ, and Ralph's thoughts that DJ won't change any of his assistants either. TOTAL GARBAGE!!!!
  10. Swept by the AFC East again, and wins against KC, Cleveland and squeak out another. Though with league parity, anything can happen. Still think 3-13 with DJ.
  11. Sure must have been boring being a SD fan and going 14-2
  12. He'll get what he wants. Plain and simple. May not be with the Jets or this year, but someone will give in to his demands.
  13. With DJ as head coach? And how we finished the season? I'd say, 3-13....if we're lucky!
  14. Over time reading stuff off the net. I did point out I don't have a link in the original text. And, BTW, if he was so darn good, why is he laboring away as a journalist?
  15. Don't have any links but I have not gotten the warm and fuzzy from football guys on Lombardi.
  16. No on April. Love him as ST coach and that's it. MARTYBALL!
  17. To be honest, I don't put a lot of stock in Mike Lombardi, but he makes a good point. The ONLY way Ralph can sell keeping DJ, is by canning some of his coaches. The OC seems to be the obvious choice over DC, especially with DJ admitting to calling some offensive plays a few games ago (unless he was trying to insulate Schonert from the Losman rollout). Kinda wonder if this will turn into a Wade Philips type of thing... I really hope he is wrong and they can the entire staff, and start fresh......again........
  18. Not sure if Marty would be my first pick, but he would appease the fan base for a "known" guy. I also believe he could increase the number of season tix, even over last years crazy numbers. He would be an easy sell, especially going 14-2 his last season in SD (even though he did get canned for losing the playoff game). He would be a HUGE change in game day coaching, don't think he would have ran the ball on 3rd down with 14 seconds left in the half and try an sneak his FG team on for a try in garbage conditions. Ya know what? I pretty much just talked myself into MARTYBALL!
  19. Makes 7-9 not look so bad...
  20. We'll give you 6 good games a year......
  21. If he's firing Dick, it will happen shortly. The longer we have no news of Dicks demise, the better his chance of staying.
  22. TE, DE, WR at the VERY least. Oh, and toss a new head coach in....
  23. Probably not. Ralph did not make it out of Detroit due to high winds. (per 97 Rock post game)
  24. As much as I want him gone, DJ probably will survive the offseason with a sacrificial firing of either the OC or DC, or both. Unless we spend some serious money on a LB, TE, DE and OL, no way we don't su ck again next year. I just can't believe Ralph will toss the money away on the new contract. I am disgusted by this organization.
