Need someone now with Lee and Kroft gone. Not interested in drafting and waiting either. Who is out there? Rudolph and Ertz? Probably go with Ertz at the right price. Would like to add some pass rush also.

We finally have a roster that we don’t have to depend on 5th rounders to do the job. Problem this year is, we have a handful of guys still out there as UFA and RFA. If we truly are done on FA, gotta hit on a bunch of draft picks to replace. Need a couple CB’s, DE, DT, backup QB to name a few. Wold love to have the first 3 rounds as guys who can develop and not depend on. Cant believe they’d be done signing FA’s.

I hope this isn’t a “keep our own” Schtick. We clearly need a few upgrades to beat the chiefs and stay on top of the AFC East. Pats are a QB away from being a contender again. Have a incredible team already, in need of a few pieces. I get there was a loss of revenue last year without tix sales, but they still got their tv revenue. This better not be a money thing.

Would make sense it’s about Ertz? Would feel she would say it’s not him if it isn’t. Hope she didn’t blow a deal for us by drawing attention to it. Feel it should be consummated by now, unless Beane needs to get some restructuring done. Remember, he also has some UFA’s and FA’s we have to deal with or sign their replacements.

Chicago - Needs a team around Wilson to make this worth it. A team loaded for the next 3 years, or it doesn’t work. Blowing 3 first rounders is a tough swallow, at least one should pan out if they drafted them. Seattle - would need to be able to get a top QB this year. The picks in this package don’t really get you there. Can trade Russ straight up and get a few more picks and get the first or 2nd overall. Sounds like a lot. Not useful to Seattle unless they had a starting QB on the wings. Not many FA’s available other than Alex Smith?

Believe the return of a star helps the D. Allows the LB’s to focus on their jobs, instead of RB’s getting to the 2nd level. That being said, yes we need better edge rush. Just hope the Bills are not putting that on Epenesa. Need an established edge guy. With a better pass rush, takes pressure of the secondary, although we do need a starting CB opposite White and backup.

Team checked out long ago, had to happen. Yes, we need a known entity at coach. Someone who can coach not just on the ice, but off the ice. Someone who can instill a sense of team pride. Seen changes in head coach and quick turn around by that team. Hopefully we get a guy that can do this. Question is, who’s out there to fit the bill?

Yep, should be traded by the end of the day. Sounds as if there are a few teams open on him. Could be agent driven, who knows. Thing is, if you want him, get him. If it turns into a 3rd this year and a 5th next year, get him. Not saying that’s the deal that gets done, just if you want him then get him. I’d prefer at most a 4th and another lower pick next year. Just like the draft. If you like the player, draft him. If you feel he’s a diamond in the rough, then don’t wait.

Need 2 pass catching threats at TE. Even if he is a decoy, he’s better than Lee Smith running pass routes. At least they will take him seriously. Hope Errz pass and run block.

So that would kinda be a even swap..Lee for Ertz. Be surprised if it’s a 7th. Maybe as part of the deal, but I could see a 4th if there are multiple teams in the mix.
