Speaking of cussing... Tiger did shout the S--- word pretty loudly on the air. First off, no -- i am not faulting him for this... but i thought the major networks were airing broadcasts with a delay to catch those things. (i think it was around 11 or so when he shouted it, it sounded so clear i was laughing quite hard)

Clements and Henry to the Cards for Their #1, #2, and Shelton?

We need to find more rumors like this... keeps the day interesting and increases the football talk in here.

I will have to admit, i am a huge Tiger fan. It is incredible to watch maybe the best player of all time in any sport, and to watch them dominate. I feel incredibly unfortunate that i was too young to ever see Gretzky play live in his prime, or to watch Montana in the Super Bowl's and fully grasp how incredible he was. Because of this, i like to see dynastys now (except the Pats). I hear the reasons not to like him, but he is not a "bad guy" he isn't a pompous jackass, he is a fierce competitor and deserves all the recognition he receives.

Can we get a first rounder for Moorman? Maybe include that in the TH-Shelton deal, so we can pick Matt Jones at #8. So so far we have picks 8 and 9 in the draft? Anyone else willing to make a trade to get 30% of the top ten picks in the draft?

I like this thought. Last year the first round was stacked at the positions we needed to fill, making it a very smart move to use two first rounders. This year the class of what we need in the draft is in the second round. TD accummulate second rounders this year, its what we need to do. Another thought... if we did have the 20th pick in the draft (assuming the two top tackles were off the board by 20, which they should be) would most of you be screaming to trade down and out of this weak first round?

NC is my favorite Bill, and has been since the day we drafted him. I just love the way the guy plays and competes. But, not knowing what TD is thinking about the situation makes guessing a bit tough. I can see him shelling out a large amount of money for Nate (not #1 CB money though) to keep him here. I can also see him passing on paying him anything above what the 10th highest CB in the league makes. If the latter is the case, i wouldn't mind making a trade for the #9 pick, their 2nd rounder, and a conditional first day pick next year. My demands are steep, but all rookies are gambles. NC is a certain #1 corner for at least the next 5 years of his career. Give me three picks all on the first day over the next two drafts, and i may be willing to part ways with my man Nate.

Ohhh i really do miss hockey and my Sabres... i never have a reason to rock my Drury jersey out here in the midwest. Reading about Miller only makes me miss it more. Great ESPN article here about potential rule changes. I really think the game can be great if a few things are tweaked. I was a fan of Freddie's when he was a mature rookie, now he is an immature childish veteran. How happy does this make you that we don't have a single player on our team that would make these childish comments. Say what you want about TH, but he is a competitor and wants the ball because he is a winner (to use the old cliche, winners want the ball in their hands). I think TH acted amicably during the season, and precisely how we all thought he would after the season -- in my book you can't blame him for wanting out, although you can blame his agent for being a dolt. I was thinking of starting a thread earlier today about the people that are true Bills, the players who bled red white and blue and represented the type of community that exists in WNY -- the Chris Spielman, Shane Conlan types. The fact we don't have anyone on our team like that makes me even more proud to be a Bills fan.

Do you happen to have link (URL!!) for his visit? Seems like the bills have been bringing plenty of folks in under the radar. Is this intentional, or is the buffalo media slipping a little bit?

Being a single horny hopeless dork at the age of 20, i have no real advice other than to watch "The Ref" with Kevin Spacey and Denis Leary. May find a few ways to make the most of the situtation. Good luck to you.

Hmmm doesn't think that shelton would be anything more than our 6th lineman? that is a bit of a concern... if we slide up the 11 spots we can take Baas, which i would like at center, move teague over, which i am fine with... but what the heck are we doing paying a back up tackle 3M a year for?

An interview with Polian a while back in one of the Indy papers (may have been on ESPN.com too) talked about what it takes to be successful as a GM. He said you can't expect to shoot 100% in the draft, free agency, trades, etc. He did say that a good GM will shoot about 52%, and that the teams you see competitng for a super bowl every year (Pats, Eagles) are shooting around 55%.

does anyone really want to know who's finger that is? i mean when this story is all said and done, it is going to be this woman's 8 year old son is missing a finger tip. Or she cut it off of her dead aunt at the mortuary. I just have bad feelings about this case.

This is the first draft i will have been a member of this or any other Bills board. Is it busy on here with constant updates? This is also the first draft since i was eleven that i will not be able to watch (don't have cable anymore), shall i convince a friend to let me sit in their apartment all day long or should i just sit here and watch a draft ticker and listen to all of you chat away? Any advice is sure to be appreciated

Will the Shelton deal go down? Will TD get an additional Pick? Will TD get Shelton and a third rounder and not swap our second round pick? Or will something entirely different happen on draft day? I think it is as few as two and as many as four. Another thought... If TD is waiting until the cards are on the clock at #44 and Jones, Baas, Spencer, Nugent and other high profile second rounders are gone, will he try to get an additional 3rd rounder and second day pick from the Cards for TH? Would you be happy with this? Thoughts?

Todd McShay: I'm hearing that the Cardinals will get a trade down with the Bills in the next few days. The Cards will send Shelton and their second round pick (44) to Buffalo in exchange for RB Travis Henry and their second round pick (55). If that's the case, cornerback will be the Cardinals top priority. It will likely be either Antrel Rolle or Pac-Man Jones.
