  1. Vince Young has the IQ somewhere between a beet and cabbage and maturity level of a 2 year old.
  2. We need Trent to not lose games for us, just manage them. If Trent Dilfer can get a ring anything is possible.
  3. I live in Fla and it seems like the guy can do nothing wrong. He is home schooled and does missionary work overseas. He reminds me of a much bigger version of Doug Flutie. Say what you want, all the guy does is win. We have not had a passer of merit since Kelly. Tebow has the mental toughness of Kelly. Tebow has the size to do well in the frigid northeast. We could do worse at qb.
  4. In a perfect world, his son would have been healthy. How much longer would he have played for the Bills?
  5. Dude, it is Cinco de Mayo and I am passing the time with a hypothetical question to the audience.
  6. The only household qbs of national merit are: -Sam Bradford -Jevon Snead -Colt McCoy -Tim Tebow The Snead kid is good from Ole Miss. Tim Tebow intrigues me because he can walk on water in Florida.
  7. Who plays qb while we are grooming a first round pick to be our savior? I really want Trent to be successful, but after he got his bell rung against the Cards, I have concerns about his durability.
  8. I think Bryant was booted out of the league for substance abuse. Go to Buffalo Rumblings to see the article. Sign him to a league minimum contract with incentives, cut McCargo and recoup some money.
  9. If Trent falls flat on his face and is horrible, what do we do? Do we spend a fortune on drafting a qb in next year's draft? Is Fitzpatrick a decent replacement? Do we go after Brady Quinn, if he is not a starter in Cleveland? We seem to have most of the pieces in place to be good, the o-line and Trent will decide everything.
  10. Read the former DT tried for the Bills. Curious to see if he still has the skills to beat the likes of McCargo for a spot.
  11. Alan Page weighed only 245.
  12. We may have the biggest line in the league. All they should have to do is fall forward for our rb's to gain positive yardage.
  13. I looked up Bruce's size-he was 6'4" and weighed 280lbs. Is that right? After seeing pictures of Maybin at close to 250lbs, he looked about as big as he is going to get and still maintain his speed like Dwight Freeney. Does anyone think Maybin can hit 280lbs?
  14. What kind of offense will we be good at? I mean, are a power running team or a throwing team? Our line will be huge and nasty, but there usually is a period of time to get acclimated. I believe that if can't run the ball effectively, it will be a long season.
  15. Seeing how they drafted Monroe and Britton, perhaps Thomas or Pashos will be available.
  16. Herman Johnson-LSU
  17. Wouldn't it have been better to just draft a lineman and get our cb later?
  18. Don't quite get it. We have so many other needs.
  19. Acquire Anquan Boldin for Josh Reed and draft picks.
  20. Just read in the Washington Post that Big Mike signed to play with Redskins.
  21. Dude will have to earn his money in rabid Philly. The entire league will soon find out if Peters is as good as he thinks he is. Their schedule in the division is tough enough, plus they play the Panthers, Chargers, Bears, and Falcons. Hell, this town booed Santa Claus.
  22. I was curious to see if anyone knew if some of these guys are going ot be able to contribute: 1. McCargo-could this guy possibly come to camp in shape and be finally ready to contribute 2.Wendling-will he use that you tube athletic ability to play safety 3.Bowen-the guy was heaped lots of praise and tore up his knee 4.Fine-is he any good as a starting te 5.Bell-we got rid of Peters, is he that good to compete for a starting job 6.Oman and any other rbs7.Hardy-will he be able to play or is Johnson better I don't live in the area
  23. y'all need to lighten up on the venom being spewed about. I only said it was a thought. With a salary cap and all, one has to watch every dollar. Not to be a buzz kill, but Yahoo rated Buffalo as the 5th toughest place to live in the USA. Hope things make a turn for the better.
  24. yes Lynch will be in shape, but not football shape. History shows that guys who hold out, show up in shape, but need a few games to under their belts before they can shoulder the load, or get hurt.
