  1. Belichick is talking to the jags. You heard it here first. Started talking to them before the bills game. Pretty good source on this one.
  2. I thought the same thing until J6 came up. JD still can’t say it was wrong and that trump lost. That alone is disqualifying to me.
  3. One way to avoid an issue of this nature is to not lie. He and everyone else demonizing some people who are here legally and who do nothing but work to improve their lives and the lives of their children can shove it. It’s disgraceful.
  4. During two years of full Republican control, no less.
  5. That is the perfect adjective for cartoon man.
  6. That’s because all of the trailer MAGA contribute very little to the relief that they seek.
  7. I saw him off the field recently and he had a wrap on one of his thumbs. Could have something to do with that.
  8. Hoax. There’s still 75,000 customers without power in Florida.
  9. So you’re saying it’s like trump’s COVID photo? Or his repeal and replace plan? He is. Nurses baseless grievances. Blames everyone else for all of his failings. Sad. And weird.
  10. I’ll say it again - his house in OP still has not been listed for sale. The door has not been closed.
  11. I’ve watched him in warmups in Buffalo each chance I’ve had, too. Frankly, and I hate to say this, a big part of me thinks that Bass is done here. He’s very inconsistent. Sometimes he hits it low. Sometimes he powers up and pulls it. Sometimes he has the horrible fade. I believe during the AZ game he made about half of his kicks during the halftime “reheat” period. Take this for what it’s worth, and I know nothing about kicking, so it’s not worth very much. The longer he stands to wait for the kick the more he starts to lean toward the snapper. I wonder if that’s throwing his rhythm off a bit. It’s probably undetectable on TV, but noticeable live. I didn’t notice it before last year, and it struck me as kind of odd.
  12. What we learned last night is that we're set up to function off the run game. Which wasn't working and which was abandoned. We also learned that we need to at least attempt a couple of deep shots here and there so that the easy money hitch comes back into play now and again. Whether it's outside or running to green off mesh it has to happen. Everyone is going to sit on us and start beating on our receivers at catch point if we don't make them respect the deep ball a bit.
  13. It was a moronic call. Especially because Allen wasn't a decoy. That's kind of thing that, if one has to be so stupid as to run it, it's put on film as a wildcat a couple of times first before the pitch to Allen. Dumb all the way around.
  14. The only thing I care about this morning is the injury report. On to Houston.
  15. Better than having left for Baltimore on Monday.
  16. Hoax. MAGA are a bunch of commies who whine about prices. Get out and get a job.
  17. If you can’t afford a McDouble, then maybe you shouldn’t eat a McDouble.
  18. It is, however, true. MAGA are weird.
  19. She’s not brilliant. But she’s light years better and smarter than the fool whom you support.
  20. Hoax. At least you’re worried about something other than the next cartoon for a change.
  21. It costs more to execute someone than it does to incarcerate them for life. Does that change your views? Also, we’re having sort of an “eligibility” discussion here, ie, is a particular crime and defendant eligible for the DP. Another issue is whether, if so eligible, the DP should be applied. In this country it is NOT applied equally in the basis of race; one study I read about 20 years ago indicates a black man is 22 times more likely to get the DP than is a white man for a commensurate crime.
  22. I know you didn’t mean this intentionally, but what good is discipline to the guy who’s dead. Maybe this defendant did “it,” maybe he didn’t. I have no idea. What I do know is that there are too many death row exonerations in this country, and too much racial imbalance in the application of the death penalty, for me consider state-sponsored killing acceptable.
  23. Hoax. This. Too many mistakes. One mistake, frankly, is too many in that context. And it’s applied disproportionately on the basis of race. That’s not even getting into the morality of it, which is suspect in my view.
  24. One of them is too busy stealing a million dollars worth of catalytic converters, and the other is too lazy to help.
