Mine too. This may explain the team slow-rolling Shaw Lawson. Might not have room for him.

Hoax. Looks like you’ve been hitting the HCQ a bit too hard, too.
-
Zucker, right? Or is this the Ivermectin cooking your brain?

I initially thought that this place looked like a meth lab. Now, however, I realize that Meadows probably had a side gig cooking black market HCQ. Little surprise that he never slept there before committing voter fraud in 2020.

March league meeting to deal with Rams relocation lawsuit liability
SectionC3 replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
It all depends what the contract says. But typically costs are not equivalent to damages or to settlement proceeds. I haven’t seen the contract, so I can’t say. The way the NFL wants to use “costs,” however, is unusual. -

One would think, but they also blew the "costs" issue. I'm not confident in anything that occurred here. And, it may have been such that the boilerplate language could not come in as a result of negotiation. Happens all the time in the construction context. Who knows. We could both be way off given how crazy thing thing is here. Are costs damages? Are funds dedicated to settlement damages? Or are they something else, e.g., compensatory payments, whatever. It all depends on how the contract is written. But costs typically doesn't mean damages, etc. It refers to things like office supplies, paper clips, travel expenses, and filling fees. -

Whomever wrote that contract is in trouble. Indemnification agreements are construed against the drafter. I believe the key word is "costs." Does it mean legal fees, paperclips, etc.? Or does it mean settlement funds? To my understanding, that is the nature of the dispute. -
The dude what are you doing moment to me in the afc divisional was waking away from Kelce before he caught the ball to put them in FG ran range. Maybe he did as he was told. I don’t know. But it was weird.

You’re talking about monitoring teachers with cameras. I don’t see how that affects pay scale. At least not in NYS. And, on top of that, I doubt that such monitoring is even permissible under many operative CBAs. Around here the number of observations permitted of a tenured teacher is limited by contract. Not sure how video monitoring would fit with those clauses. -

I don’t totally agree with the idea that SIT necessarily has to increase to pay teachers. But the point that the money has to come from somewhere is totally right. To raise pay, we either make cuts to stay neutral or find new “revenue” from additional streams. Theoretically that would be growing the economic pie, but that doesn’t happen too much in a place like New York State. So jacking up SIT might be one way to do it. -

I don’t feel weird about it. I’ve dabbled in the business here and there. It’s hard. I struggle with the idea that education is this hugely important and hugely expensive investment in our future, and we entice to it talent willing to work for, in many cases around here, a whopping $16/hour to start. I appreciate that the benefits are good, and that there is ample time off. But we might have much better luck getting really good talent if we paid a bit more. Now, if someone wants to say that it’s absurd that, in the Buffalo area, we have dozens of administrators who earn nearly as much as the governor, I will agree with them all day long. That aspect of the pay structure is outrageous. Duly noted. And stop thinking about me. It’s starting to get even weirder. -

Hoax. There you go thinking about me again. I’ll take “who moved my cheese” for $200. It actually is kind of an interesting story. I would have like to have seen grandma’s reaction when confronted with the video of the heist. And I feel badly for you for having to deal with knuckleheads like that. Nobody who puts up with grandma litigating nonsense like that makes enough money. -

Hoax. I don’t like clowns. They’re creepy. You spend way too much time thinking about me. It’s a little weird. I’d like to say I’m flattered, but … it’s just weird. -

Hoax. I never said that. Teach within applicable curriculum guidelines? Yes. Criminal? No. If you feel like going to work with a camera on you as you itch your junk all day, go for it. I’m not part of big brother state, and monitoring teachers via video as they work (without, say, reasonable suspicion of criminality) is not appropriate. Hoax. Spend some time in city schools. By and large, those teachers are grossly underpaid for the nonsense with which they must deal every day. If you’re saying that many parents and students are not accountable, then I completely agree with you. It’s not just a city thing—it’s everywhere. -

So you want local control, but not direct control? Maybe all of the concern about stranger danger is clouding your mind. -

Cameras in the classroom is antithetical to the concept of tenure for teachers. So you’re talking about a major systemic disruption. Maybe that’s what you want; if so, we just disagree there. -

I still want the video. I’m eager to learn. I always enjoy playing ask the expert. And, FYI, school safety is different from placing cameras on teachers—the point to which you alluded earlier. -

Sounds like you want direct control to me. We're behind the rest of the world for a lot of reasons. Laziness. Morons. Poverty. There's a variety of reasons. But bringing local control of education into the mix because whiners are worried about "critical race theory" is only going to make it worse. If you don't want your kids leaning about slave ships in public schools, then home school or choose a private school that employs a program that you like. Bottom line. -

Maybe you should make a video. Share your knowledge with the masses. This is the Information Age, after all. -
My vote is no. Or, if they do, they should move Milano. Too much money invested in second-level defenders who don’t rush the passer. I appreciate the argument that Edmunds covers a ton of ground in zone in this D. But there’s only so much cash to go around, and on the D side of the ball I think we’ve learned it should go to pass disrupters, e.g., rushers, corners, or exceptional safeties.

I’d like to see the video before I commit to the flight. No reason to invest that time and money unless I know it will be worth my while. -

Now you’re worried about stranger danger. I can’t keep it straight with you. If you don’t want your child to be taught by a stranger, then it’s time to home school. And, if you want to have direct control over the curriculum at the school of your child, looks like home school or private school is the way to go. Otherwise, by availing yourself of the public education system, you submit to public direction as what is taught and how those lessons are delivered. Hoax. I’m not. Maybe you can post a video of your speech at this school safety conference. We might learn something. Could be interesting. -

Hoax. I’m not all over the place. You are. Now you’re saying that teachers should always wear body cameras—24 hours a day—because some teacher somewhere diddled a student outside of school hours and off of school grounds. What a sickening suggestion it is to invade the privacy of hundreds of thousands of good and honest teachers. This isn’t some Orwellian state we’re living in here.
