  1. No problem with Rex. 5 games into the season. Give it some time, man!
  2. Definitely agree. I think the key, as you said, is the second half adjustments. It seems like we haven't had them or been successful with them for a long time. I do see that as a real positive this year and a big step forward from years past.
  3. Thanks for the links. Appreciate this!
  4. Oh, it's over. I've only ever turned off one Bills game in over 20 years. this may be the second
  5. On the bright side it's a touchback. I'm sure that saved another penalty
  6. There's the flag...
  7. Yup, here we go again with the refs. Frigin' ridiculous!
  8. Monday Job Post: ** Can you kick a football? Want to become apart of a top notch organization?....
  9. According to what Al Michaels just reported...ridiculous
  10. Pats* still at it. Steelers getting pats* radio broadcast on their headsets!!!
  11. BS! EJ is a GOD! Leave EJ alone!!! j/k I agree.
  12. Too greedy. The NFL makes plenty of money. Enough with these international games. It's a lose, lose, lose situation for the US fans (home games and home field advantage), for the players and inevitably the NFL. There is a reason why there is no more Euro NFL.
  13. Literally made me laugh out loud!!! Good stuff, thanks!
  14. Seattle is now the laughing stock among football minds and fans across the world. The OC will hear snickers on that call forever. When even the most casual of fans smack their foreheads...hard...well, sheesh. Fans will be calling for his head. The only way to save face will be to can him.
  15. noun, plural tragedies. 1.a dramatic composition, often in verse, dealing with a serious or somber theme, typically that of a great person destined through a flaw of character or conflict with some overpowering force, as fate or society, to downfall or destruction. The "real" definition of tragic or tragedy is when one does something that ends up hurting themselves. An example would be felling a tree with an axe and having it fall on you and killing you. So, the op's use of tragic fits here.
  16. I like the red helmets and the 90's uni's. I'm for it!!!
  17. Here is the problem with this line of thinking: You're assuming that if it was a different coaching hire that Swartz would have stayed. I don't think that's the case. Also, what's wrong with planning ahead for the contingency that Swartz leaves by hiring a defensive minded coach. Also, I'm sure you listened to the presser, Ryan stated that he does not push a system on his players. Instead, he builds a system around the roster. Isn't that what we Bills fans have wanted for years? I know I have. In terms of offense, again according to the presser, Ryan will give his OC a long leash, something that didn't exist under the last regime. Ryan is the HC, not the DC or the OC. He knows his role and is going to fulfill it accordingly. In fact, we're probably in better hands with a defensive coach like Ryan as opposed to an offense oriented coach in terms of maintaining a good/great defense.
  18. I have a great idea! I call it the INternet. It will be a place where people can talk about subjects (sports for example), exchange INformation and....oh crap! Al Gore already INvented it...
  19. You just filled in a 20 year blank for me with that one. Now it makes sense: "Oedipus Rex / Oedipus The King". *slaps forehead...hard. Seriously, thanks!
  20. Ditto, prayers to you.
  21. Yeah, and Shwartz should have his try out as coach too. This way, when the coaching change occurs nobody can say that he should have gotten his shot. :/
