And that's exactly what these white knights and social just warriors can't stand (or understand). Pretty much nobody cares that a female called the game. It's her performance that was lackluster and her voice is simply annoying. To those people, sorry, just because she is a woman doesn't mean she is untouchable or beyond criticism. The reason this thread is so long is because it was a female announcer. It's only this long because of the PC people having a problem with a female announcer being criticized. To those posters, sorry, but she just isn't very good and is annoying.

Unfortunately, he (Dopey) and other posters took it to this level. It's not about gender. It's not about "we can't have a female calling a sports game". It's simply about the fact that her voice is horrible, annoying, like sand paper, and that she got the names of players wrong as well as not knowing and laughing at the tendencies of players. She (as well as Feely) were a distraction to the game time experience. Mowins being a female does not exempt her from criticism. She simply doesn't have the voice for calling an NFL game. She can work on learning personnel but it won't change that fact.

That's your prerogative. I for one like to watch a game with announcers that know the names of the players and don't laugh at the players I root for based on their playing tendencies. I also do not like to listen to annoying people when I watch my team. I guess we just have different standards. To each their own. I'm not a fan of mediocrity.

You know why I'm allowed to have an opinion and why mute shouldn't be the answer? It's because I'm a PAYING customer. I pay good, hard earned money to watch (and listen) to this product. Most people here do as well. The announcer's performance is horrible, inaccurate, and annoying. It's not about a way to use the "B word", it's about wanting to get my money's worth and have a good experience for what I've (and others) have paid for.

I had the exact same thought when she mentioned (and laughed) at how mccoy carries the ball. Hate to tell you, but that's exactly why.

Sorry but her voice is not appealing to the ears and she has already messed up players names on several occasions . Not a good performance when you can't get the players names correct. Don't confuse effort with results

worst...announcers...ever! OMG! Funnily enough, someone in this thread mentioned that she has called basketball games. My first thought was, "she sounds like she would be better off calling basketball games"... This is horrible... Her coworker is even worse!

Okay, got "quoted" a couple of times in this thread. There is no "now". It's about the future. TT is toast. Sure, give him a couple of games. If he does things he should be doing, fantastic! If TT throws the damn ball and is accurate, I'm all for it. Until he proves me wrong (which, honestly, I really hope he does as I like the guy) I'm all set with the win now because we aren't winning with him at QB as of "now".

Honestly, this team is a complete horror show. Just when you think it couldn't have gotten any worse...it has. Tyrod is not the answer, Peterman does not look like the answer. OC, DC, O line, D line.... The end of the season and the draft can't get here soon enough. They need to work heavily on the lines and either draft a QB with their 1 pick or get a Luck or Cousins for a QB. McD gets a year or two. I'd like to give him at least 2 but if next year is more atrocious than this then I'd ice him. Time for proven position coaches and players in FA. This is totally sickening.

I don't think the W/L column changes with either QB at the helm but you may as well start the rook, see what kind of backup he could be.
