^^^^^^ I have only played Tobacco Road once, not a fan. Don't remember what i shot, think it was okay...just did not enjoy the course at all.Could be the beer selection sucked as well, that forms my opinion of the course more than the course itself LOL.

While I agree somewhat, 53 maybes buries one of those 3 golden chances in the last 2 minutes 68 did not. love the effort, best game this year I think, but the insistence on punishing 53 with no ice time in critical situations cost this team tonight.

Just caught up to game after lots of BB. This is a a fun freaking game. Sabres look like they care and seem way faster in 1st. 2nd way tighter, but that first period was fun as hell.

Kids prolly took more years off my life then the smokes...hope you doing well brother! You have done it this far, just know you will continue to make it! Be confident, but not cocky as they say. I will say the hardest part about quitting for me was the beer..and not that i wanted to smoke when i was drinking, but that glass sure seemed to get tipped instead of a smoke. First couple times or so i was drinking and not smoking, I was getting way more hammered cause i was drinking like twice the amount of beer!

Thats freaking awesome...have you played both in the old landscaping/layout and the new? We used to do our golf trip to Pinehurst as well early spring ..played many a course there..and left a few dollars in the Gold Club too! Never played any of the Pinehurst resort courses though..to many economic ranges in our group and drinking beer, betting and just crushing each other was the real goal of those trips. I was at the 99 Open there as well..long story but that Sunday was the day after No Goal, I was freaking miserable, they did not start selling beer to noon, stopped selling beer at 5PM,Its was rainy and cold, i watched Payne's putt in a field next to 18th green on an inflatable projection thing..it sucked. Its When i realized i like golf trnys better on TV.. In terms of great courses i have played, really comes down to just a few. Weird, as we moved to the island in 80...and someone in my family has lived in that house ever since, but i was just never there. By the time i was like 5, brother and sister only wanted to go to Crystal Beach...so that where we went if we went an amusement park.

Interesting question here. on one hand, making playoffs would mean a really fun 5 weeks of hockey, and most likely getting swept by Tampa as they gunna be a little fired up after last year. OTOH, that dude at 1 is supposed to be pretty good. I would do for lottery win

i was reading on Twitter somehere, will try to find it, that cap savings is important relative to the bonus payouts for Dahlin, Goalfson and someone else. Seems like BOTS freed up enough room to pay with this years cap money and not have to do with next years...so credit where credit is due..good job Bots

I think they are toast based on their schedule vs what the Leafs have left...but i will be hoping and praying that they keep it close so the games mean something and i have an excuse to drink beers on the porch!. But as of right now, i say they have less than 2% chance to make it. @YoloinOhio, Pitt stat geeks and writers seem divided on Kuhan...sounds like a good chance to take for two pieces that were not going to be here next year

I think one can look and make up similar scenarios for trading..if you are saying the Sabres could not beat giving up two prospects( i admit i never see prospects play, so can only go on what i read) and a bottom pair D-Man to get a 2C that sounds crazy no? I mean the lack of a 2C has been a glaring weakness of this team for two years, and this guy is locked up for two more years. PLus the added benefit of giving you organizational depth to put Cozens and Mitts in positions where they can succeed. I would have absolutely traded that first( lottery protected), especially as it appears BOTS is all in on trying to make the playoffs this year. Sabres need to win pretty quick, another 2 or 3 years before that first gets here seems like an eternity

Let me tell ya this...i was a closet smoker cause wife hated it.Which made it even harder to quit cause the relief i would get from that first smoke was the best relief in the world. After 8 hours of no fix to my nicotine addiction, you could have offered me an hour to do dirty things with Charlize Theron or have a Marlboro...and i would pick the Marlboro 100% of the time.
