i guess what bothers me so is the ability of this team to look they did the other night against the Isle, and then apparently look so atrocious one night later. I get that happens over the grind of the NHL season..but not near as much typically as it does with this squad...and that is on coaching to me.

POLL: Can you drive a manual transmission?
plenzmd1 replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in Off the Wall Archives
long story, but when we were renting a car in Ireland I was doing as normal and waiving the insurance, but I was paying up to get an automatic as I was worried the gear pattern would be different. On the way to pick up the car, dude I knew convinced me to get the manual and get the full insurance as I was bound to hit something driving a week in Ireland. And the cost was just about the same, as I guess most Americans can not drive a stick so the premium iver the manual was quite high. Gear pattern was the same, , easy peezy..and yes I put like 10 more scratches and a busted side view mirror in that already beat up car...but never worried as i had full coverage! -

To be fair, mentions $2k a month in rent for a studio, and that is not out of line for someone making $178K . Decent two bedroom in Navy Yard , or really any gentrified neighborhood in DC is at least $3500-$4000 a month...so that headline about being one of DCs most expensive buildings is a tad off. Navy Yard hip, real money and expensive buildings other side of town in NW.. Cause no one takes her seriously -
Some oldies I have not had for years Quest honeycomb sugar pops for some reason, growing up we had store brand everything, but Mom always bought us the name brand cereal.

Not to take this is a whole nother direction, and i don't mean to tell you how to parent..but maybe take a few ganders at these sites. http://www.freerangekids.com/ https://letgrow.org/ My now grown kids(19,18) are far from perfect..and I do mean far...but they have no fears of the world, understand responsibility, do not rely on us to do stuff they need to do...son at 17 spent his summer last year as a camp counselor, traveling the east coast a bit on free weekends. Daughter at 19 this summer is spending 6 weeks in South Africa on a really cool internship she found on her own got her school to give her 6 credits..and yes I am worried she is going, but proud as hell she is doing it I dunno, just take a look at those sites -
^^^^^ @Tiberius , the problem with that analysis is it is mostly in subprime lending where the problems and delinquencies lie. Carmax a few years ago was getting dinged in its earnings cause they could not figure out the subprime space as well. These are people who received loans, most likely at monster interest rates..who ain't really worried bout their credit rating cause their credit rating is shot anyway..Subprime lending is a B word, no matter what industry you are in

Thank You @Foxx , poys to chew on there. So let me see if I understand. Lightning lets me settle transactions outside the blockchain, but eventually that all has to happen there anyway?

I don’t think so at all, just the opposite in fact. If he signs this deal, he had a better deal on the table in July, and after all this he gets less. If he does not sign, he is seen as the reason for another shutdown. Only ones who will applaud are the people who approve of his job,, that’s suits ay less than 40 % I think( really don’t know the number) -

I did say ‘ so far”. As I said , if Trump sticks to his guns and really believes in the wall, I hope he does not agree to this. Could be. -
Hey @Foxx , is this a big deal? I mean Square is pretty big deal, but I am not 100% positive i understand what this lightening stuff is? Help a brother out? I am thinking of buying some bitcoin as it seems to have found a base... https://www.coindesk.com/square-bitcoin-jack-dorsey-lightning-cash-app
