Holcomb has no leadership / heart. The NE game is the biggest example. 4th and 10, he throws a 1 yard out to a covered receiver. He gets a completion, which improves his stats, but the Bills lose the game.
No upside to Holcomb. None
Hate him...
what "pastabelly" says is true
it was a bad choice to take an inconsistent (sometimes non-existent college) DE....
who thinks williams will have more of an impact on the nfl than bush?
not many people ......
What happened to Jonathan Scott OT from Texas? I thought he was one of the top tackles?
I like the Kiper picks as well, I would not be inclined to pick a WR in round three with our DB need and Darnell Bing still on the board though.
he did not bash the team, he merely stated that we have no prime time games and will be invisible to the rest of the league. It is a fact.
we are a very sensitive bunch, relax
Trading down would be the best option too. Speculation is that Det. may try to grab Cutler. There also is interest in White and Williams from multiple teams. Therefore a few teams may try to move up this year.
A teacher should never treat a student that way. Kids can talk crap all they want, and I am sure the kid expected that. But a student while writing a test is totally wrong.
I like the quote from Mularkey that there would be "smart, physical football".
Those are the two exact things that the Bills were not.
I think a better description would be "Trickery and deceit because we don't think we're good enough"
Trading down has become more difficult. Last year there were very few trades since teams do not want the higher picks which command more money.
I agree trading down would be the best option for the Bills if there is not a "difference maker" on either the OL or DL.
some basic questions should have been answered before he was allowed to stay
- will you use your best running back on 3rd down?
- will you commit to the run and not try to trick/outsmart the defence all the time?
those questions would tell me if MM is capable of being the coach of a strong willed team. the Bills were very soft this year, both defensively and offensively. That needs to change first.
If MM agrees then he has a chance, otherwise next year will be more of the same
its ridiculous to me that WM is taken out on third downs. it is one main question which MM should be forced to answer before he is allowed to coach in 06.
You can not remove the tag if he signs the franchise tender. this is what Charles Woodson did in Oakland. It screwed them good. No one would trade for him and the Franchise contract he signed.
JP rejuvanated? We had 9 first downs yesterday?
I am all for JP being back in the lineup, but two things from SD scare me 1. LT 2. Bates. We can not stop the run or a good TE.
if you notice samuel slipped on his own before moulds even pushed off. the alleged push was exagerated because samuel was already falling. no way he was making an interception or even able to defend the play
I could not have said this better myself. The Bill have disappointed me again and the reason are listed in the article. Some reasonable OL changes to look for too
