Ok, the reason the Starters did not play more is because they have already made the team. The coaching staff is trying to figure out who the second and third string is going to be. I am frankly surprised that there is so much whining on the board about the first live action we have seen this year.
I am note sure you can compare JP to TE and there snaps yesterday. Sure JP had more attempts and receptions. He also had a TD, but he was in for a lot more plays. This is TE first Preseason as a starter. I would think it would take a little bit to get the jitters out. Do I give him a pass for yesterday. Yes I do! In game four of the preseason, if he doesn't do better, than yeah I think we can start to make judgments.
Our D is still trying to get some continuity. It did not have its leader playing in DW. Stroud only played one series. I think it is way to early to see the sky falling. I think some people need to take a nap or get a different hobby then sports if they are making opinions after one game.

A very inexperienced coaching staff. We saw how 1st time HC Cameron did last year.

I don't see the need to be dismissive, Pennington consistently completes 65% of his passes. If Soprano as a former O-Line and TE's Coach can get the Hogs to move the pile up front they could really sustain drives W/ Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Dan Henning ran a meat & potatoes' offense W/ Carolina. Pennington is what he is a cerebral quarterback who puts excellent touch on throws and a quick release. His arm strength is weak and there are always question marks about his health. Maybe Bill's fan shouldn't be worried about this move, but it doesn't make the Dolphins any worse and considering Pennington will have the comforts of the indoor Rogers Centre he won't have to worry about the elements. I think the Dolphins did a lot towards improving the team from a year ago.
He also completes a lot of 7 yard passes on 3rd and 10. If playing against Pennington is our biggest worry this year then I think things will be just fine.

There has been no silent treatment. Parker and Brandon have discussed Peters. And every hold out that ends in a new contract involves the player not being in camp. His location is not the issue and shouldn't be. The issue is the millions more that he wants this year.
Isn't that the definition of a holdout?? Never heard of a holdout that is in camp.

Sat in the Dog Pound in the late 80's and had stuff thrown at me because I was a Bills fan. Was not loud or obnoxious. This stuff does happen.

If the Packers trade Favre, do they have any leverage in controlling what that team decides to do with him? For example, if they traded Favre to the Raiders...Could the Packers write language in the deal stating that if the Raiders then trade Favre to the Vikings, the Packers get [x] picks in the draft?
They could, but no team would trade for a player with the condition that they can not trade him eventually.

I say they cut Favre as soon the the pre-season ends so it will be tough to go to another team as soon the regular season is about to start.

Most "idjits" here are going by what has been reported. We have been waiting for the inside scoop from those in the know, such as yourself. So Parker has had talks with the Bills and stated what they are looking for. The Bills in return want JP in camp before negotiating. We all have an idea that this is what is happening, but this is the first time it has been reported "officially". So thanks for the inside scoop. Now that we know the details, you can end your crusade krazykat.
It's not that we know all the details, but common sense dictates that they have talked at some point during the off-season and are aware of each others position.

obviously its real early, but reading the daily practice notes it sure sounds like Reggie Corner has been making a lot more plays and seeing more time with the first unit than McKelvin. It seems like in camp the good players flash ability - I feel like we've heard preciously little about McKelvin and that has me concerned. Just how much of a contributor is McKelvin actually going to be? It seems like his chances at starting are looking pretty remote.
How about waiting until a couple of pre-season games are played. Are you really concerned after only 2 weeks of camp?

I like Butler too but we fielded the worst offense in the history of the franchise, there wasn't a lot of fantastic play by anyone on that side of the ball.
The offense was bad but I can pull some years from the 60's and 70's and find much worse.

Correct. I have 2 receivers. If I give him one of mine, he has the Sunday Ticket based in Philly. He will get all Bills game whether televised locally or not. For Hockey, I get his receiver which shows all Sabre games on MSG and I do not need Center Ice package.
