They think that this will be happening in the next couple of days. I'm disappointed in hearing this simply because I viewed him as a potential safety net in the event that Losman were to get traded.

No man, the Stroud one is real, the league is looking into it. It was being reported late last night on some of the sports news sites
The Bills TRADED for Stroud, did not sign him as a FA. How could this be tampering?

Plus it is a rematch of the SB from 2 years ago, so they got that going for them. Which is nice.
Since we know the Bills certainly aren't going to be on Nat'l TV the first weekend, I guess I don't really care all that much.

Sorry, I did not answer your question. Skins -Giants is good. Colts are good to watch but Bears blow. Vikes-Pack will be good to see Peterson run and if GB is any good without Brett God. Broncos-Raiders sucks.

Right now their focus should be on FA and the Draft, nothing else. Evans isn't going anywhere at the moment and should not be a priority until after that is done. Weither he has an extension worked out now, or before the season starts won't matter, so why take away focus from something as important as the draft?
Well, you did not mention the reading and coffee. That changes everything. I'm not worried about Evans contract, either. I agree he should not be a priority right now.

have they even started negotiating yet? I would hope they aren't trying to extend him right now and are focusing more on FA and the upcoming draft first, work out an extension during Training Camp, or the season. They have more important things to be worried about right now.
I'm sure they can walk and chew gun just fine. I'll bet Modrak is concentrating on the draft while Overdorf and others will handle contracts.

And don't kid yourself, Ralph's wealthy beyond reason too. He as well can feel free to open his books anytime. My guess is that the reason he doesn't is because our jaws would drop to the floor. He's probably on the low end in comparison to the other teams, but well off otherwise.
No one has ever questioned his wealth or the profits he makes from the Bills. It is the disparity in revenue from big markets and the lack of a revenue sharing plan with the current CBA.

I think TO's should be ref discretion, just like in Baseball. Just because a batter requests time to step out of the box while the pitcher is in his windup, the umpire does not always give it to him. If the coach calls TO right before ball is snapped, don't give it to him.

Jabari Greer had an outstanding '07 campaign in my ever-so humble opinion. He shut down TO, knocked out Chad Johnson and won the Jests game. If the Bills could have figured out a way to win the Monday Night game against DallASS, it would have been his key pass breakup on the two-point conversion that may have been the clincher.
I think he is starting material right now. Further, I think he is a better corner than McGee. But it seems the prevailing opinion is that Greer is the man who will be challenged by James and whoever the Bills draft.
Lack of respect by who? Pretty much every player is competing for a starting job. James is a good corner and if he plays better than McGee or Greer he starts.

You know what Eli Manning has done his since he's been in the league? He stayed in NY and practiced with his receivers during the offseason when he wasn't expected to. His brother Peyton did the same thing his first few years in the league. I heard that Brady never left NE's facilities in the offseason when he was starting out. Trent's priorities? Go play a whole lot of golf and get plenty of rest. Hey, why not. Buffalo Bills fans don't care as long as you can check down a whole bunch. You don't even need to throw touchdown passes to get their hearts all a flutter. Hey it's Buffalo, no one cares if you leave for three months even if you are the starter at the games most important position.
It's a sad state of affairs when so many Bills fans here are so accepting of Trent's minimum time and effort. Unbelievable.
Did Evans, Parrish, Reed , or Royal stay in Buffalo? Anyone here for him to throw to?

This is NOT practice. Just weight lifting and conditioning. Most vets probably have personal trainers and work out on their own. I don't think it's a big deal if a few guys do not come in.

I don't think it is because you are criticizing Edwards. It is because you won't get off this thing about him going home for a few months after the season. Which is what most, if not all players do.

Undersized combined with no belief in an off season training regiment makes me wonder if Schobel gonna drop like an anchor.
How do you know he doesn't work out in the off-season? Do you have reports he shows up to training camp out of shape? Just because he prefers to lift weights on his own makes him a bad person?

Not sure where we would select them, but I feel 1-2 linemen should be drafted every year.

With increased playing time, McCargo should be a big playmaker. Youboty has shown a little, INT against Eagles and some tackling ability but he needs to show he can play. I think the talent is there but so far he has not done what was expected.
