I forgot about Angelina. . . she makes my top 10, but only if she doesn't require a vile of my blood. Also, hard to forgive her that Billy Bob bobbed.

Yeah, I saw her on SNL. She is really yummy. I didn't realize how "mature" she had become until I saw her dressed that way. I like Jessica Biel, Tara Reid, Charlize Theron. . .

After the recent snickering on this board, I thought I'd offer a post that will get the entire board back on the same page. . . HOT CHICKS! Who's your vote for the hottest? And please, dear sirs, do not hesitate to put up some pictures/links of your favs. Yep.

EM is our best receiver. However, he's clearly in decline, and on the wrong side of 30. (32 I believe). IF we can get a good package for him, we must consider it. His cap number will be huge next year, and now he's talking like he'd like a fresh start elsewhere. We are clearly going young with JP and Evans and Willis. Maybe we should move EM, and spend a high pick on a young receiver to go along with Evans (Josh Reed need not apply). This way, the offense will all "grow up" together. EM probably only has 2 top years left anyway. If we can get enough for him, I say we trade him. . . how about to the team DB lands with? EM would love that!

Ice Often Speaks The Truth
BenchBledsoe replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whoa! When I posted this last night, I figured it to be innocent enough. But, this thing has gotten out of hand. I guess I can always say "Can't we all just get along?" I noticed that it turned into personal grudge matches. What about the Buffalo Bills thoughts? Not much response on what I wanted responses to. -
Besides DB, Who's the most disappointing?
BenchBledsoe replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, I voted for Mike Williams. As the 4th pick in the entire draft, I was hoping for an Orlando Pace-ish type player. What we got was a Tony Mandarich-ish kind of player. As I have said many times, in many different posts, I hated the pick. I was just hoping it would turn out well. It has turned out night-marish if you consider the salary cap vs. production levels. -
I haven't gotten into the back and forth bickering which can best be titled "Ice vs. The Die Hards" I am a huge Bills fan and will always cheer for them. I DO want sell outs. The more Ralph makes, the better. He might be able to afford or want to spend some more in free agency. It may also help this market hold this team at the time of RW's passing. (Which IS very much up in the air. . . they won't just stay put because ICE says so) I believe strongly Ralph wants to win the Superbowl before he dies. This may not have been his agenda yrs. ago, but it clearly is now. His bitching a few weeks ago about "smashmouth football" showed he wants to win, and now. BUT, Ice has many points I do subscribe to. While I am a huge fan, I am extremely frustrated with the lack of success in the last 4 yrs. There needs to be some real improvement and changes in the near future. We cannot blindly just root for a losing product, year after year. I also agree that some of the "problems" will be cured when we get a QB playing that is not such a handicap. I do see some light at the of the tunnel with JP, Willis, and Evans as possibly our poor-man's version of a Big 3. And I agree that TD must either win soon or it's time for him to go. His drafts have been highly questionable. (I still smart over the Mike Williams pick. I never liked it, just hoped for the best. Unfortunately, he isn't near as good as anticipated. I always liked Roy Williams at that spot.) What I'm saying is that you can be a fan and be disgusted with the team, some of it's players, the front office decisions, and yes. . . even disgusted with some of the other fans' opinions. We do know ICE still roots for them and cares about them. He wouldn't be on this board otherwise. . .

There is no freakin way that Moulds would bring a HIGH first rounder. A late first rounder maybe. He is 31 or 32 now, and on the downside of his career. He also is slightly overrated, and not a true difference maker anymore.

Ice, we know that you head into every Sunday rooting for the Bills, despite these bashings. I too rip them when it is deserved, but continue to root for them. It is a sickness that probably none of us can shake! I am as frustrated as you are. Probably more, if your comment about it not being the end of the world if they move is any indication. I am more than frustrated with pathetic DB being our QB. Hell, look at my user name. Take solace in the fact that he'll never torture us again after next month. TD knew last year that DB was done. He moved up and gave up a future 1st for JP, desperately tried to pry Volek away from Tennessee, and flirted with signing Drew Henson. I agree on virtually everything you said. But the reality is that we aren't very attractive a place for the top-tier FAs. To get TKO here, the fans actually helped out by cheering for him and chanting his name in that season ender against Cincy when he last played for the Bungles. But, high-priced FAs often get teams in trouble cap wise anyway and often are under achieving with their new teams. We don't want to take that risky road too much in trying to improve. The fact is that we haven't drafted that well in the last several years. I see some future with Losman, Evans, and Willis as our "Big 3". As far as sell outs, this team needs all the help they can get on Sundays. I'd hate to go back to the days of 35,000 fans in the stands late in the year, like in the mid eighties. That was gross.

A good example of Drew's shortcomings
BenchBledsoe replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nobody has mentioned this. . . Joe Theisman CONTINUALLY pointed out that DB was throwing flat footed or off his back foot, and getting NOTHING on his passes. This is ridiculous for a 12 year vet to STILL have issues with basic mechanics. It was like Joe T. was tutoring a grade-school QB with his comments. I thought MM, Clements, and Wyche were going to "fix" DB? Can't these guys see what a guy in the booth can see. More importantly, why is DB fundamentally so unsound after all these years? A total joke, any way you slice this rotten apple. -
Besides DB, Who's the most disappointing?
BenchBledsoe replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, those kick offs that come down at about the 15-20 yd line are pretty disappointing. The opposition consistently gets the ball at the 30-35 yd line because of them. -
So, who is viewed as the biggest disappointment by the all-knowing fans?

There's a big difference between Eli & JP
BenchBledsoe replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But honestly. . . can JP do any worse than 8 for 19 for 76 yds with 3 picks and many throws in the turf? Can he really do worse than 0 offensive points? I don't think JP is going to be very good if he plays now, but he cannot do worse. And, he needs the game experience to give us a shot next year. Playing DB at this point is entirely counter productive. The team might possibly feed off of JP's energy. . . at least it is something new. The only thing they're feeding off of with DB is a face full of mud. Loser-itis, IS contagious. The Pat game second half showed that. DB starting is like giving all the guys a sleeping pill before the game. -
I had been going with Edge and Reuben Droughns up until this week when Denver hada bye. Then Blaylock came up huge against a pathetic Saint defense. I can only start two this week. Edge is AT Chicago Droughns is AT piss poor New Orleans Blaylock is HOME on a Monday Night agin' the Pats. Which two should I start? Also, Edge and Droughns are on teams that have combined for about the last 31 freaking TDs have been by pass!!! Manning has 20 TD passes in the last 5 games, with no freaking TDs rushing. They even threw to Dallas Clark this week on 1st and goal from the 1!! Denver has 11 TDs the last three games, ALL Plummer passes. I'm thinking of benching Edge. Droughns has too good a match up and K.C. is sooo much more run oriented at the goalline than Indy. Thoughts?

The lynch mob mentality is getting funny
BenchBledsoe replied to Fezmid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This just in. . . in the last 10 years this team has sucked, for the most part (especially the last 4 yrs.) Some of those that you mentioned were flops, or had real shortcomings. If this team would consistently win, I'm sure many of these rants would go away. Did you notice prior to the N.E. game (when we had a 2 game winning streak) the rants quieted some? But, alas, we aren't winning consistently, and the reasons why we're losing are going to be targeted. -
Got my George Carlin tickets!!!
BenchBledsoe replied to HelloNewman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, those people exist. I don't really care for rap too much, but I saw it. And Eminem's songs are often satirical commentary on issues, not on the same level, but also not so different from what George does. -

Simply Classic! I noticed the other guys didn't respond. It was kind of like at the end of "8-Mile" when Eminem left the other rapper speechless. -

Dear Mr. Stalin, Thank you dear comrade so very much for you service and undying love of your country. signed, The People of The Mother Land -
Continuing to start a QB who isn't going to be here next year on a team that isn't going anywhere this year makes no sense. JP needs game experience this year in order to help the team next year.
-
Of course I'll root for whoever is in there, and the team as a whole obviously. However, still starting DB would be like beating your head against the wall. . . and the wall ain't budging folks. Maybe they should try something else. There is a saying that the definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing under the exact same set of circumstances. . . and expecting a different result.
-
Okay there. . . we've had a break through. You admit that TD realizes DB is not the long term answer. So, logically, when we are mathematically eliminated, it would make sense to get JP as much playing time as he can get right? Do you agree?
-
I think you lost me. . . so it is not a good thing to start JP next week or it is? But he needs playing time to get better or he might get better faster by watching? And the QB position question is not what drives you as a fan, yet it is the most important postion on a team. . . are you a politician by any chance?

Mularkey will reveal a lot about himself
BenchBledsoe replied to nodnarb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Reports said that Fassel not backing DB in the interview were his undoing. Not that hard to believe is it? -
You backing DB simply doesn't matter either. His time is extremely limited. Take it as a compliment? I wouldn't. Its either you are right, or the rest of the world is right. And I don't think the entire rest of the world is wrong. You have an attitude like Bobby Knight, who said: "I'll listen to other people's opinions. . . even when they're wrong" But, it doesn't matter. DB will soon be gone. Can we at least agree on that? Trading up and taking JP in the 1st and trying desperately to sign Volek were clear indicators that TD realizes DB is not the long term answer.
