  1. Yes, it IS the best division in football. Everyone suspects Miami will be improved this coming season, forcing some team to slide down to the cellar. . . guess who the experts, per the Vegas lines, say that will be?
  2. Yeah, we'll stuff him. . . like we said we'd stuff Ricky Williams before he ripped us for 200 plus yards. . .
  3. Yeah, and I don't recollect the Bills playing in that game when Kelly went in.
  4. ESPN is reporting that the Colts are looking to trade Edge "for less than a first rounder". It is no secret that he wants to play in his home town and has never been truly happy in Indy. Where there is smoke there's fire. . . and despite the Indy front office and Edge often speaking in politically correct terms about this, it is likely happening. For the Dophins to get him for less than a first is sick. But, it's going to happen. . . you heard it from this pessimist first.
  5. per KFFL. . . this is ridiculous. A freakin' 4-12 Dolphin team gets more perks than us. A Monday night preseason game following the year they had? Come on. Somebody please tell me that that game is strictly on a rotational basis. . . but I'm fairly certain I've seen the same team more than once play in it, in the not so distant past.
  6. This is bad news for us and good news for the Jets. Moss was an over-rated deep receiver, nothing more. Coles is bigger, more polished, better over the middle, has better hands. Just look at his stats the last year he was with the Jets. . . much better than Moss would ever do. A heist for the Jets. They realized they should never have let Coles go in the first place this past year.
  7. I thought Chris Rock flopped. I don't think I really laughed once. He seemed out of place at the Oscars. He's more suited to host MTV type of award shows because his humor and shtick has a rougher edge to it. I cringed (and bet that many of the stars in the audience did too) at some of his jokes in the opening monologue. The lack of laughing and response from the crowd was very noticeable. As far as making Jude Law a butt of that joke, he might have under estimated Jude. Jude has gained some real pull in Hollywood as one of the best young rising actors around.
  8. I hope this trade does not go through. Moss makes a handful of nice punt returns and big catches a season, but Coles is clearly the more consistent, polished, tougher, over the middle, go-to-kind of receiver that Moss clearly will never be. In summary, Coles is a #1 type of receiver, while Moss is a #2 type of receiver.
  9. I'm keeping the same screen name. I figure that Dallas fans will soon be able to relate to it. I think they now hate anyone who would save us significant cap room if waived.
  10. Well, I don't know about reliving those years, but Kelly, RJ and Flutie all started playoff games. Collins and AVP were most often backups, so I don't think they should be included here.
  11. I don't think the Bills crowned JP "king" so much as realizing DB was absolutely done.
  12. I'm not saying that bashing Drew is something new. What I am saying is that I can't believe some of the posters on this board and they're undying support of a washed up QB that was only with us for three uneventful years.
  13. Agreed. This premise of this post is a joke.
  14. I cannot for the life of me imagine why some on this board continue to defend DB and say that his treatment was unfair. FACT: DB was offered a position to be our back up next year. He "can't see himself being a backup in this league" so he asked for his release. TD and MM released him as soon as possible, per DB's wishes, to give him the best chance to land on his feet somewhere else. As we know, Dallas is the latest sucker. Why keep him around next year and tell him that it'll be an open competition? Clearly, the decision was made to go with JP, so telling DB it would've been an open competition would have been lying to him. The decision was made because the front office and coaching staff feel it is in the best interests of this team. Why is that so horrible and such bad treatment of DB? What we do know is that DB wasn't taking us anywhere. That was proven over his career in New England (no championships with him as starter, three since!) and here (no playoff appearances, consistent poor play in big games and against top teams.) What we don't know is what JP is capable of.
  15. Come On. DB at this point stinks. We gave his job to an unproven rookie because the vet (DB) HAS proven he cannot win in crunch time (and many other times).
  16. We do? I don't partake of that kind of stuff. . .
  17. Unfortunately, this could look bad for TD and the Bills. JP is likely to struggle in his first year as a starter, and DB, under Parcells, will do a serviceable job. If Vinny can put up some decent numbers there, I'm sure DB will look okay. There undoubtedly will be the early season media stories like "The Rebirth of Drew Bledsoe in Dallas under Bill Parcells" when the Cowboys are like 2-1 or 3-2. Then, they'll fade away into an 8-8 type team, and the hype will fade as well.
  18. What about just released Joe Nedney from the Titans? He is certainly an upgrade over Lindell when healthy.
  19. What about Todd Marijuanavich? I'm sure he'll quit his nude surfing to come into camp in July!
  20. I think we're mad at the reality of the situation: We've still got a long way to go. We were hoping not to have to admit that going into today's game.
  21. I'm really not in the mood for your nonsense right now. I was watching the freaking game. The Steeler caught the lob kick without being hit at all. The kick was slightly too deep. Yes, the Steelers made the play. . . an easy play because the kick was far from perfect. You can post all you want about this, there's no convincing me that Lindell executed that kick perfectly.
  22. How do you know that was perfect execution by Lindell? Because you say so? Yeah, it was perfect . . . except for the part where we had absolutely zero chance at recovering it. It was lobbed up directly to a Steeler behind a wall in front of him that we had no chance to get through.
  23. Yep. People were saying it all year long. It came up and bit us at the most inopportune time. Just call him "Murphy's Law" Lindell. . .
  24. Missing a crucial 28 freaking yarder? Short/squib kick offs consistently putting the Steelers in good field position to start? That onside kick where we had no opportunity to jar it free? Our idiot kicker MUST must have gotten liquored up before this game. Let him drink elsewhere this coming offseason. He is a tremendous liability in this parity filled league. They simply cannot go into next year with this idiot as our kicker.
