  1. I should have known better than to get my hopes and blood pressure up. I cannot take this anymore. I am done with this team and watching football. What a waste of my life this is.
  2. Just a thought. . . I wonder if TD wants to take a looksee at Ronnie? The guy may be interested in a job along our O-line. As long as TD's looking at all of these other stiffs, what could it hurt?
  3. Does anyone know what ever happened to Ronnie "Psycho" Raines of the Los Angeles Thunderbirds pro roller derby team? He was probably the best roller derby player of our generation. The way he could skate and elbow the other guys was stuff of legend. If you never saw this master in action, you missed one of the all-time greats. But, alas, today he's probably selling junk in some seedy part of Hollywood, unable to capitalize on his fame. The Lady Thunderbirds best-ever player, if you'll recall, was "Skinny" Minny Miles. She was the fastest skater in the league. I think I read somewhere that she is now in the insurance sales business. . .
  4. No, that makes too much sense. Those clowns (TD & MM) won't do it. They're either too dumb or in denial. They'll continue deluding themselves that this team could make a run, and won't put in JP until we're about 4-9.
  5. Yes, Rochester and Syracuse offer approx another 3/4 million people.
  6. I KNEW lamont Jordan would go off as well. I tried desperately to trade for him before the game in my fantasy league. . . and was outbid by the guy I played head to head! Of course Lamont's performance was the difference and I lost to him.
  7. Oh, I'm quite sure that the Bills won't put you in that position where you are torn. They have NO chance to win this particular game. Pats at home, primetime game, coming off a loss and a bye, and the return of Bruschi to give them a tremendous emotional lift, Bills second week on the road. I mean, why don't the schedule makers just GIVE them the game? It'd be much simpler.
  8. Absolutely true. . . and that's why we'll never have a top-notch coach as long as TD is around.
  9. Does anyone have info on London's contract status, salary cap implications if cut etc.?
  10. Then that falls squarely on TD, as he is the one responsible for assembling this "collection of talent".
  11. TD went cheap on the O-Line WITH M. Williams, just not the way he expected! And yes, I despised the MM hiring. Gadget plays that make Gilbride look conservative. In Buffalo, a blue collar town, we need someone like John Fox, who loves to run and play D. (when his personnel have allowed)
  12. ESPN (or was it NFL Network?) just had a segment this past week on Bills run D, and paraphrasing: London makes a lot of tackles, but rarely at the point of impact. They're often of the "chasing" variety. Good fullbacks overmatch him physically. He would be better as one of two MLBs in a 3-4. Not as the only MLB in a 4-3, he just isn't that type of player.
  13. Childress has gone absolutely pass happy. . . we've seen that before here. It does not work, especially later in the year.
  14. Yes, or at least an advisor, ala Bill Walsh a while back. I've read that Ralphie still has a good relationship with Marv and is in contact semi-frequently.
  15. Talk about a player who is not playing up to the salary cap figure that he represents, WOW! This guy needs to go bye-bye pronto. Anybody know what FA MLBs available this offseason? We NEED one. Also, what is London's contract status?
  16. Which should be this coming offseason. . . which will begin as soon as our week 17 game is completed! Ralphie has probably got to consider pulling the plug on TD. I mean, how many years has he been here now? 5? To still be going backwards at this point is an obvious red flag.
  17. Yes, pulling him may be the way he doesn't get the rushing record. But, if it's semi-close. . . Oh, dear, watch out! It's record-breaking time!
  18. I see nobody is disputing this. Is there anyway to bet on such a thing?
  19. On one hand? But, what if you're the six-fingered man who killed Inigo Montoya's dad in "The Princess Bride"?
  20. Yeah, looks like all of MMs long hours are paying big dividends. . .
  21. Well, I guess all those TD draft picks, i.e. the white "high-motor" DEs, can't get consistent pressure when playing "straight up".
  22. Bills play IN San Diego. . . with the season he's having (except for yesterday) L.T. will eclipse the record of 295 yards rushing in that game if they don't pull him. Just a pleasant thought to start your work week.
  23. Yes, unfortunately for us, my predition may have been optimistic. I was counting on the defense slipping some, but not off a cliff like they have. . .
  24. I whole-heartedly agree. Holcomb is NOT the long term answer. Let's get JP some playing time. Perhaps he can make some strides next year, ala Carson Palmer and Eli Manning now.
  25. But, at this point, can anyone logically or heartily disagree? And on what factual basis, considering the upcoming schedule, would you do so? Anyone who disagreed is probably speaking from their heart, not their head. At this point, nobody really, deep down, believes this team is going anywhere this season.
