  1. Well if that's what TD wants to do, at least get some good ones. MM was well know for his "cute" play calling and Pittsburgh has been getting back to running the ball since he left. MM's last year in Pitt they had a dreadful, pass-happy, cute offense. Can you tell me that you'd prefer MM to Weiss or Kubiak?
  2. On the day MM was hired, I blew my top on this board. I couldn't believe that TD would again pick a coordinator with no previous head caoching experience after the GW mess. Everyone said things like "You never know, he could be a great one" and "I like the way he sounded at his welcoming press conference. . . he said all the right things" Well, excuse me for pointing out the obvious now, but that hiring is just as bad as GW. At least with GW we had a good defense. I wanted Tom Coughlin or Jim Fassel. can anyone say that they'd really rather have MM than either of those two guys? My dream head coach short list: 1.) Gary Kubiak, OC Denver: Anyone see what Denver does on offense with Plummer and 32 year old Mike Anderson? That scheme is the best in the biz. Period. 2.) Charklie Weiss, HC Notre Dame: Again, TD passed on him, couldn't wait a couple of weeks or some such nonsense. Same as Romeo Crennel. 3.) Urban Meyer, HC Florida: This guy is Saban times 10 4.) Ron Rivera, DC? Chicago: This guy is getting a lot of ink lately, along with Mike Singletary.
  3. We'll get TKO back. . . hope he's what he was. . .
  4. Hence why I used "sign/keep". And obviously, keeping Moulds is with the assumption it is at a lesser price tag. But, yes, I agree. Both players seem to be angry, and will not be sticking around at anything remotely resembling a "hometown discount". They're both as good as gone. My main point is that TD will piss away any cap savings we may get, and both positions WR and CB, will be weaker next year, not stronger.
  5. You see Peter, even a moderator gets off on DB stinking up the joint. . . you ever heard the ole' expression "misery loves company"? Well, come join us Dallas fans. . . maybe DB can pass you the chips and dip to JP as they both watch the playoffs on TV.
  6. Trust us, the games that Drew has good games are not as important as the games that Drew has bad games. . . that's the rub for him.
  7. Love it. . . my ex-college buddy, who I had a falling out with, is an enormous Pokes fan. This does my heart good. (I'd pay that extra rent that clown tried to squeeze out of me now, just to have watched that clown watch DB yesterday! )
  8. With all the attention on our own misery, you guys forgot the one thing that should always make at least some of us feel a little better. . . While JP showed some flashes yesterday, that Drew Bledsoe is doing to Dallas exactly what he would have done to any team trying to make progress: Turning in an absolute stinker, in an enormous must win game! If nothing else, getting rid of DB was the right move. We may not be going anywhere this season, but Dallas is stuck with that albatross for another couple of years, until they realize what NE and Buffalo realized before them. It'll take them a couple of years, but Dallas will come around and realize it too. But, alas, Parcells will be leaving about the same time DB does, so that team looks to be in a holding pattern for the next 5 yrs or so now.
  9. Yes, In a nut shell, that's what I said. However, by hearing both their post game comments, NC and EM cannot wait to get out of town, and away from this train wreck. They're both as good as gone.
  10. Okay, I've heard all the talk about how we should let these two go because of their play vs. salary cap implications. . . But, we should sign/keep both Nate and Moulds if at all possible. Reasons: Question # 1) What are we going to replace them with cheaper AND better? Answer: Nothing. We'd sign lesser players, and be calling for their ouster in one year. (See: Jonas Jennings, Ruben Brown leaving and Gandy, Villarial, B. Anderson coming in) Question # 2) What would that ridiculous TD do with any cap savings anyway? Answer: Nothing. He'd squander any cap savings and overpay on some fringe type players who aren't going to make any impact. (See: Teague, Milloy, Vincent, and a host of others the past 5 or so yrs.) So, why let your #1 CB and #1WR walk when you're obviously not going to improve the team by doing so? (granted, these guys aren't the greatest) Do you really think that any helpful big time FAs will get signed in Buffalo, by TD, anytime soon? Reality check, folks. . . not happening.
  11. Okay, fourth pick in the entire draft, enormous salary and cap burden, very weak in pass protection and of course, not being moved to left tackle. . . THEN they move the hog to LG. That should have been a red flag for anybody still holding out hope. . . then that awful performance even at LG. Sorry, we can't deny it anymore. Mike Williams is officially an enormous bust. Awful even at LG? Please. Let's now talk about how we get rid of his cap number, not that he'll some day come around. That's wishful thinking, unrealistic at this point. What can we do about his cap number/burden?
  12. Yes, it should be the Chargers. Their fans would just drive up the freeway a bit more on Sunday mornings. Southern Calif. is just one big megatropolis anyway. It's all people, and this would be halfway in between for highly populated Orange Co. as well (Orange Co. is south of L.A. Co., and north of San Diego, in case you didn't know).
  13. My aunt and uncle live just off of Niagara Falls Blvd. right near where The Blue Dolphin used to be. I noticed it wasn't The Blue Dolphin anymore, a long time ago. But, I forget what it is now. Anyone know? And how long ago the name changed?
  14. Yes, we are truely addicts. But, join me in my new found freedom. . . I am done with watching any football, and will be much better off and happier without it.
  15. I was thinking this too. . . but then came to my senses. I realized it doesn't matter who we draft, who we sign, what coaches we have, what schedule we have, what front office guys we have. This team and city are friggin cursed and will never win anything. So, none of it makes any difference, ever.
  16. "Gee, Wally, I think they guys are swell, and tried really hard tonight. They'll get em' next time for sure" said The Beaver Give us a break with this kind of post right now. That was likely the most disgusting Bills game I've ever stomached, and you're trying to put an unrealistic positive spin on it an hour after the debacle was complete.
  17. I fell for this crap as well. I should not have watched this game, as I originally planned. But, I was like an alcoholic with a fridge full of beer in front of me when it came to be gametime. I am swearing off football from now on. It is pure torture, and not worth my time, and health, believe it or not. As well as my sanity.
  18. Yes, that is exactly what they were begging for. The refs were obviously pulling for it too.
  19. EVERY year, we get one friggin Sunday Nighter. . . always on the road against an AFC East opponent, coming off a friggin bye, I mean talk about playing against a stacked deck. I mean if the schedule makers are going to continue doing this why don't they just make a take a forfeit loss and GIVE the opposition the win. That's basically what they are doing. Why doesn't the NFL just admit they'd like this team to move to a bigger market? It is TOO obvious with that schedule making what they're up to.
  20. I couldn't agree more. What a joke that ESPN coverage is.
  21. Looks like ALL Bills fans knew this was coming. . . now that is scary. They forever freakin' live down to our worst expectations/nightmares. That team and that city are undoubtedly cursed. I cannot be convinced otherwise. There is too much supporting fact.
  22. As an angry lynch mob, we could certainly be a loud voice to be heard by ESPN. How could we organize this?
  23. ME too. After an outrageous outburst by me, causing a family scuffle. . . I HAVE now sworn off ever watching football again.
  24. Who gives a s**t about that interview at a crucial time in that game. I CANNOT believe they friggin did that picture in picture crap. And Suzy Kolbers lame ass story when Schobel forced that Brady fumble was a joke. SHE KEPT ON TALKING!! Un-freaking-believeable!!
  25. I cannot take this torture anymore. Please ban me from this site as I may or may not have the will power to stay away on my own. . .
