  1. Now they've added Archuleta too? Ridiculous! However, there is a silver lining to all this: They HAVEN"T HELPED their team too much, and long-term this will hurt them! Overrated Randle El is only going to be their 3rd WR, and David Patten may now get cut. Archuleta is terrible in coverage, Fauria for Royal is roughly a wash, and they lost Arrington. Lloyd could well be the best addition they've had so far. So, while it looks good on paper, on the field I don't see them improving too much. Remember, they're still trying to squeeze yet another year out of Brunell. He is due to hit the wall. And Jason Campbell is more green than JP!! Bottom line is. . . I'd still root for them against the Cowboys, but hope they fall on their faces in the end.
  2. Thank you! That helped me understand, and I'm sure helped others understand too.
  3. Yes, we all know they're high revenue and free spending. But how are they doing this in regards to the cap? There is a hard cap in the NFL, isn't there?
  4. Can someone please explain how Washington is doing what they're doing? Randle El, Brandon Lloyd, Fauria, etc. Weren't there reports a week ago that it wasn't possible for them to get under the cap if there wasn't a new CBA reached? Or they'd have to cut an obscene amount of players to do so? Now they're adding players like they were in great cap shape!! Did Arrington and those few pigs they cut really open things up this much? What the heck is going on? How is this possible?
  5. I'll pass, but If you do a lot of stretches and limber up, maybe you can blow yourself.
  6. Yeah, and Dan Marino's aunts friends sisters half-brothers 3rd cousins next door neighbor came into your work too and said the Bills wanted to take a look at him as well. . .
  7. KFFL is reporting that David Givens cancelled a Sunday trip to Houston to meet with the Texans because he has re-signed with the Pats. . .
  8. "MacDaniels"??? You mean Randy McMichael?
  9. Just read the latest! Givens to Cleveland reports were premature and not true, at least yet! Now Givens is going to meet with the fins!
  10. Adam Scheffter on the NFL Network tonight said the Raiders are NOT involved in the Culpepper sweepstakes. The Raiders talked to the Vikes, but never made an offer. He said it was down to the Jets and Dolphins!
  11. Who do the experts and mock drafts have Hawk most likely going to?
  12. What if A.J. Hawk slips to #8? There is a slight chance of this. I know we aren't in dire straights at LB, like on the defensive line, but Hawk looks to good to pass up. If San Fran and Green Bay pass on him, he well could fall to # 8.
  13. I thought they were under.
  14. Yes, I'm afraid of Ngata. Pac 10 (is it still the Pac 10 these days?) players seem to have a high incidence of bust.
  15. Just checked the Miami Herald and they seem to almost be expecting Culpepper to be coming "aboard".
  16. A trade down might make sense if we can pick up another high (2nd rounder?) pick. Michael Huff? Vernon Davis? Jay Cutler?
  17. Just read it on KFFL. His agent says Miami is a good place to play and live. And that Miami needs a replacement for Seau. I don't know about you guys, but I don't want the fish to add Arrington or Culpepper, and they look like they will. . .
  18. We were one of about 4 teams said to be after him. Also, Carolina reupped with Deshaun Foster for three years, keeping him off the market.
  19. But, can't he get something for getting a corporate sponsor's name on it? Or if the county could get the money, hey, done deal.
  20. Okay, we know that we're slightly at a disadvantage, and the lower-revenue clubs sure weren't helped by the new CBA. So, how much could Ralph get for selling the name of the stadium to a corporate sponsor? How does this work? It seems that almost everyone is doing it, so Ralph should help himself (and us!) by doing this. It is a revenue stream that he can easily tap into. It would cut down the advantage of some of the other clubs. I'm sure FEDEX pays that little runt Snyder a pretty penny. How about UPS Wilson Stadium? Or Pepsi Wilson Stadium? Or Budweiser Wilson Stadium? Or Vivid Video Wilson Stadium? The Vivid girls could double as ticker takers in a money making promo. You could get your picture taken with them sitting in your lap for $10.00. . . genius I say, pure genius. Ralphie would be neck and neck with Danny S. in a flicker. . .
  21. All of this talk about how we can't pass on Vernon Davis is getting me queasy. About a month ago, few if any advocated Davis as our first round pick. Now, with the great "numbers" at the combine, many are jumping on his bandwagon. The last time we took a TE in the first round was 1983. His name was the immortal Tony Hunter out of Notre Dame. He was picked with the first of our two first rounders. . . before Jim Kelly! (I think Hunter went #12, and Kelly #14, if memory serves) Hunter turned out to be a tremendous bust. I'm not saying that Davis will be a bust (although it is possible), but in our offense, he just would not be able to make enough of an impact for a #8 pick. Tight Ends are a luxury to most offenses. We can't afford this luxury right now. Bottom line: I'd rather pick my nose than have the Bills pick Davis.
  22. When I was in the corn field, some cowboys were trying to break back my mountain. . . Of course I told them like Beavis and Butthead would, "Ah hut, I like chicks, really hot chicks"
  23. Dick Jauron head coach? Steve Fairchild OC? Turk Schonert on the freakin staff in any capacity? Perry Fewell DC? What the heck is going on here? This is awful. . . Sorry, delayed reaction. . . I just got back from a several week stay in The Twilight Zone. . . Billy had sent me to the corn field because I was a bad man. . . a very bad man. . .
  24. I just need to hear it from some knowlegeable fans. . . Coy Wire cannot start next year. It's like playing with 3 DBs and a LB in the secondary. Marv won't let this happen, will he? I'd rather virtually anyone (Baker, etc.) on the roster, or any FA, or draftee start over Wire. He simply cannot play safety in the NFL.
  25. Although his career was cut short by injury, I love Jeff Nixon. To me, he's the safety equivalent to Jerry Butler, who to me, is by far the best WR the Bills ever had. I believe Nixon led the NFL in interceptions in one year in the 80's. Can someone confirm?
