  1. Ahh, but, I didn't proclaim Hardy a bust! Notice the "???" in the title and the word "possibly" on the second line. I was playing Devil's advocate. Now, an hour later, the truth is coming out that quite a few others basically feel the same way.
  2. I guess true Bills fans will give up a piece o' arse on draft night
  3. After all this, YOU preferred Sweed too?? Why didn't you just say so? It would have only garnered you a bit of disgust and insults from this board.
  4. Well said. I completely agree with your thoughts on our picks . . . now I just hope somebody on here doesn't rip my head off because I wasn't happy.
  5. I wasn't throwing personal attacks until he threw his nonsense out there. But, more importantly, you agree with the basis premise.
  6. That clown started with the insults and clearly had that coming. I'm entitled an opinion, despite you not agreeing with it.
  7. Would your mom be there too d*ckhead?
  8. Defending our DEs? How many times did us fans have to sit and watch the opposing QB have all day to throw last year? It was disgusting at times. I'm sure you'll find that most of the fans on this board were not pleased with our pass rush last year. How could they be? If the DTs don't really assist them like you hypothesize, we're in deep trouble again this year.
  9. I wouldn't say I hated today's picks, but was disappointed. And I get it, you liked them. Well, I'm entitled my opinion like you are, don't get bent out of shape about it.
  10. I do believe that our D will be better this year with Mitchell, Stroud, Johnson added. However, with our DEs, I find it nearly impossible to believe that we are going to have anywhere near a dominant front 4. I'm liking our DTs way more than our DEs.
  11. Untrue. I loved last years top picks of Marshawn and Poz. It is true, however, I am disappointed in these two picks today. Did not want any corner at 11. Didn't anyone see the Superbowl? A dominant front 4 can make an average secondary NOT get exposed. Conversely, Denver with Champ and Dre Bly without a pass rush look beatable. What about the novel idea of trading down for an extra 2nd or 3rd and getting say Jenkins, Cason or Flowers?? Also, strongly preferred Thomas and Sweed to Hardy.
  12. I'm not a half enpty type of person. I'm just reacting to this team's front office decisions haven't gotten them in the playoffs since 1999!
  13. By current you mean Brandon, Modrak? This is their first year without Marv.
  14. Nobody should confuse the great-tackling Winfield with McKelvin as far as tackling goes. But, I believe McKelvin is a better cover corner than Winfield. Winfield is only slightly above average in that department. Anyone see Minnesota's pass D last year? Horrible!
  15. Pittsburgh historically drafts well. If he's good enough for them, chances are he'll be just fine.
  16. I was shocked they passed on Sweed for him. Character issues aside, Sweed was ranked higher in almost all literature we saw before the draft. Sweed generally considered more polished. The scouting reports I've read mention Hardy's effort is questionable, he's soft when going across the middle, and he has trouble getting off the press. And with his tall frame and long stride, separation at the NFL level may be a problem. Sounds eerily like JJ Stokes, Dwayne Jarrett and Mike Williams' problems. We'll see.
  17. Yes, because we all know that turnovers in the game of football aren't really that important
  18. Hmmm. . . that comment brings back memories of the "punt-catcher" term in terms of a comment that makes you shudder about a known weakness.
  19. I have a feeling that Cromartie will wind up being the top CB when we look back years from now on this draft. He's a playmaker-ballhawk type.
  20. He has good-great speed, but dropped balls thrown right to him in some drills. Antoine Winfield like hands.
  21. I'm not crying for Bryant Johnson as much as I am that Reed and Parrish aren't the answers.
  22. I was thinking Felix Jones, but Mendenhall changes things
  23. Because Roscoe is a punt returner and a 3rd or 4th WR and Josh Reed won't be on our roster this year, God willing.
  24. I'm getting a bit nervous now about our WR core. No Bryant Johnson, no trade for someone, and now no WR in the first round. I am hoping that the Bills two spend picks on WRs in the next three rounds. At least rounds 2 and 4, if not 2 and 3.
