  1. Only 30% of the blame to DB? I think you'll find you are in the extreme minority of people who would say that. Maybe even the ONLY person who would say that. Does ANYONE else on this board agree that DB should only get 30% of the blame in tonight's game? ANYONE at all?
  2. Unfortunately, I have no doubt that DB will start next week. MM will have to tout the party line that "DB gives us the best chance to win" Clearly, MM's hands are tied by TDs edict to play DB. He agreed to get the job. Remember Fassel? he told TD that if hired, he'd want to go in another direction at QB. It eliminated Fassel from consideration! DB will start until we lose our 8th or 9th game. Then JP will get his shot.
  3. That truly shows you what the coaching staff really thinks of DB. They are scared to death to open up the offense and let him take shots down the field. It has been a recipe for disaster in the recent past.
  4. Exactly. We are truly playing with a handicap with DB at QB. They don't dare open up the offense. I cannot wait until we get another QB in there and are playing on an even playing field. Right now it is almost like 11 on 10.
  5. Just curious, but if you had to assign a percentage of blame for this game, a percentage of blame to DB, and then a percentage of blame for the defense, what numbers would you say?
  6. Oh okay. . . I guess DB is our QB of the future and our defense is to blame for our 3-6 record. . .
  7. Absolutely correct. But don't forget the penalties that keep drives going, the lack of turnovers forced, and the most inopportune times to give up plays (see Jax and Oakland) That Izell Reese is a total liability in the secondary. He NEVER turns his head around to make a play on the ball. All he does is try to tackle the receiver once he has caught it. His safety play is downright brutal.
  8. I reconcile it with the starting QB having a 14 rating, 80 some yds passing, 3 interceptions and keeping the defense on the field virtually for the entire game. Enjoy DB's next few weeks, they will be the last for him here.
  9. The ridiculous fans that STILL back DB are mind boggling. What else does it take for them to believe what they have just witnessed with their own two eyes? You DB backers had better enjoy the next few weeks. When we are mathematically eliminated, it will be JP time. Mericfully the DB "era" in Buffalo Bills football is about to pass into history. I don't believe I've ever seen a Bills player single handedly bring down the team so much. We are truly playing with a handicap. I cannot wait until we get back on a level playing field with a different QB. . .
  10. I think that "caretaker" is a cancer to thius team at this point. He must sit for the rest of the year, and go at the end of it.
  11. That is absolutely not a true statement at this point. How on earth can you even say that after the total garbage we just witnessed? I agree DB will start next week. MM will bow down to TD's edict. But you ridiculous DB backers had better enjoy the next few weeks. . . It will mercifully be the last of DB's starting days for this franchise.
  12. You aren't going to have to wait long. If they do beat St.Louis (it's probably a 50-50 shot) at home, they clearly will get blown out at Seattle. THIS HAS GOT TO BE THE WORST ROAD TEAM IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE! I can't even picture them winning a road game this season.
  13. Ummm yeah. . . look at my user name. But I'll be darned if there still aren't idiot fans out there who want Bledsoe to continue starting and will say crap like "The rest of the team didn't help him out enough" DB is a TOTAL freaking joke. We are a national laughingstock tonight. I know some guy who played New England Defense tonight in fantasy football. He was clearly going to lose this week's fantasy game. . . until they held the Bills to so few yards and forced enough turnovers, he pulled out the miracle. He thanked me for my favorite team's offense being so crappy and winning him the fantasy week.
  14. I would like to add this tidbit. . . while I WANT JP to start next week, I realize that that pig Bledsoe will. MM clearly has his hands tied for another few weeks by some ridiculous edict of Donahoe's to start DB.
  15. Yes, it is. But look where they put us. last year AT Kansas City and this year AT New England. These scheduling is a total joke. Why don't we ever get a home night game? It is a freaking conspiracy. . .
  16. Okay folks, At 3-6 in the AFC it is safe to now say that this season is over. DB was disgraceful tonight. Yes, that's right . . . disgraceful. It's no wonder that the networks rarely touch this team for nationally televised games. After this debacle and last year's Sunday Night "Kansas City Massacre" we probably won't see a nationally televised game at all next year. But if they keep putting us on the road against great teams in these games, good riddance. So, lets get on the record officially here: Who wants DB starting next week and who wants JP. Despite JP looking awful tonight, I say it is time to get him some playing time. I'll go on record as wanting JP to start next week. Who do y'all want to start next week? get on record right here, right now.
  17. Just feeling nostalgic, remembering some of the memorable moments from the Bills big games in the past. Many of them were all-time NFL classic moments. Some where real turning points in games, like Kenneth not getting low enough and Norton stuffing him on 4th and goal in the SB at the Rose Bowl. Others: 1)Obviously. . . wide right 2)Home Run throw forward 3)Mark Ingram breaking 7-8 tackles to convert a crucial 3rd down in our first SB 4)Beebe knocking the ball away from showboating Leon Lett 5)Thurman's fumble early in the third quarter in our last SB that turned a 13-6 lead into another nightmare. 6)Bruce not knocking the ball out of Hostetler's hands in the endzone, so we settled for a safety, instead of a TD that would have likely changed history. 7)The Frank Reich led 35-3 comback vs. Moon's Oilers. 8)Ronnie Harmon dropping a last second pass in the endzone from Jimbo in the 89 playoffs at Cleveland, costing them that heartbreaker 9)Flutie getting sacked on 4th down near Miami's goalline ending our hopes in that playoff game in 1998. 10)J.D. Williams getting burned in a Super Bowl (pick one. . . anyone) 11)Tied 13-13 with Dallas in our last SB, the drive that killed us where Emmitt carried every play, jammed it down our throats, and finally scored. . . brutal Any others come to mind?
  18. I wonder if this Mister Defense clown would like to try to argue this ridiculous post after today?. . . I'd think not.
  19. Just thought I'd see if ANYONE can possibly refute this now. Last week a few clowns actually did. . . I'm sure they're going to be very quiet about this after today.
  20. I think we'll play okay but lose. DB saves his worst for at N.England (and often national TV) But, I do see almost all of the rest of the games on the schedule as realistically winnable (except this one and at Seattle). Remember, Pittsburgh at home in week 17 may mean nothing to them (and they really aren't THAT good. Let's see them on the road against a good team.)
  21. This team NEVER does things the easy way. It's Murphy's Law times ten with this team. . .
  22. Okay folks. . . no applause please. My gut feelings are almost always correct. . . However, after the Pats lose to the Rams later on today, they'll pound us next week in Foxboro on national TV. . .
  23. "And this one time at band camp. . . "
  24. Isn't possible. There's no way he hangs around as a backup with as badly as it has gone for him. He might take a backup gig somewhere else (maybe even find some stupidly optimistic team to start for) TD will undoubtedly cut all ties with him at the end of the year. The situation is too far gone for him here. TD will at least give DB the chance to play somewhere where there isn't some much anomosity and negative feelings towards him. I'm certain DB (if he doesn't retire) would want a change of scenery himself.
  25. You guys wanting to keep Bledsoe starting must be sadomasochists!! There's simply no other rational explanation. For the last two years we've been tortured by having a good defense and virtually no offense. DB should not have even been brought back this year. I knew it would get ugly with him. The season will pretty much be over when we lose for the 7th time, (certainly the 8th) At that point, JP may not start, but will come in when (not if. . . when) DB struggles. And the last month of the season? That's JP starting time. And let's get this straight right now folks. . . there is NO WAY Bledsoe returns to this team next year. You really cannot believe that if you're rational at all. It cannot happen after yet another disasterous season.
