I don't watch baseball so this makes me a bit more objective in how I view things. That said, is it me, or if you change the sport from baseball to football, and you change the team from the Cardinals to the Patriots...wouldn't that make BF something of a Patsy Troll? The proof will be in the pudding, I supposed. Should the Cards lose, will BF still be around. Somehow I doubt it.

Are you kidding? We're every bit as good as that team. The only difference between the comeback team and today's team is that today, when a player runs out of bounds, then comes back in bounds and scores a TD...replay negates the play.

Once again this comes down to personal accountability. Some people can filter what is allowed into their lives simply by making a choice, and some people choose to complain that they have not been provided with the required filter. And that's really the gist of it all, when you get right down to it. Too many people, myself included somewhere around the beginning of the fourth quarter of each game, have a hard time seeing the silver lining; the good stuff that gets lost in the "loss" column. But at some point people have to at least TRY to see some of the positives. Otherwise, there's no reason to keep watching if you're convinced the team is going nowhere. Thanks for the post, Todd. It's hard to be optimistic sometimes, and having someone take a stab at it helps.

And here we have it again. Matthews can't be any worse than Bledsoe. If you really, really think this statement is true, then why not start Matthews now? I have to take partial responsibility for that. I busted his balls about something he posted that we didnt' agree on (though I wasn't alone in this), and he said he was gone. It's my fault. He'll be back. Be patient. And when he comes back, agree with him vehemently. The more people agree with him, the longer he stays.

You know the one thing I don't understand? Where was this information two years ago? He could have saved people a whole lotta trouble if he made this announcement before we invaded Iraq. Oh, wait. I have two of their albums and do like them. But dude, The Eagles were creating music the likes of which BNL will never understand, in my opinion. Hell, even Skynard were pretty incredible...especially if you were a redneck growing up. But if I recall, you're something of a young'n and probably didn't grow up with either the Eagles or Skynard playing in the background, so I can understand your thinking somewhat.

Christ, am I the only one who saw the ambulance chaser side of him last night? Especially when he used John Kerry's name, and the moderator reminded him that he was not allowed to use his name...and then five seconds later, he's using his name again!
