  1. They're launching the new throwbacks tonight! Just got this on the twittering machine: "Buffalo Bills to feature 50th season celebration and throwback jersey launch tonight. Follow our tweets all day for updates." I'm going for a Poz white throwback and maybe a Marshawn blue throwback, though I too often have a hard time wearing anything by my Thurman jersey on gamedays!
  2. He just tweeted: "The atmosphere at Skins camp is amazingly calm and subdued for first day of TC. No buzz. Polar opposite of Bills camp." That can only be a good thing for us - keep the energy up and get the fellas hyped for the season... Tucker also just wrote "Skins players standing under portable shade tents on the field in between reps. Never seen anything like it." And people call our camp soft.
  3. Dion approached is as "who would I not want to defend". Came down to TO and Chad for him. Said Chad runs routes better, but TO gets the attention... Falk took Plaxico touting his height - he can jump for high catches; by the end of his ramble he compared Burris to Michael Jordan - Falk is an idiot. Mariucci took T.O. citing his respect for him. Even though things were bad, TO came and shook Mooches hand. You know what you're getting with TO - he's solid. If he's on my team I know they had better double-team him, I know your run game is going to be better. Mike Lombardi took TO, saying it's not even a hard choice. Eisen kept pushing on WHY TO was released from Dallas; if he's such a diva, is he worth the trouble. Lombardi said it was choice they made since they have Roy Williams on the roster. Interesting question to consider. I'm still a little amazed that we have a guy that is considered one of the best receivers in the league on our squad. It's gonna be a fun year to watch...
  4. Sorry for the other thread - i missed this one my a mile. Damn you work!
  5. I'm a huge Bourdain fan - reminds me of my grandfather and the old restaurant days. I'd love to explore a cities restaurants with Tony! It's too bad he didn't get to hit a couple more restaurants or, of course, go to a Bills game. Still the montage had a lot of hits and he got in the wings and Beef on Weck, plus watching a bombed Zamir get mobbed was awesome. He did what he does, explored a touch of the city with a local guide (and he loves Starr). Still, I would love to have seen more of the city! I loved the Baltimore segment, I jumped out of my seat when I saw Snoop Pearson. The Wire, is absolutely amazing and Snoop was unforgettable and pretty much the same in real life. That feather bowling game looked pretty fun too. Can't believe that I haven't ever seen that game before! Seems good for drinking...
  6. FWIW, King and Ross Tucker will be live from training camp on Sirius NFL Radio on Wednesday, should be cool!
  7. You did a nice job giving them a little inside perspective on the topics they brought up - great interview. Of course it *was* about the Bills so I'm a little biased. I really enjoy Sirius NFL Radio, there's a lot of football knowledge on the station and even a few Buffalo connections. Kudos you to, I hope to hear you on again in the future...
  8. John - shouldn't you be getting ready for that call with Sirius in 10 minutes
  9. Oddly enough, Maybin had tweeted that his deal was getting close a couple weeks back - wonder what happened...
  10. First off, I guess the Levitre signing puts the whole "front office not working on Sunday" thing to rest. Way to go FO! So your contention is that the Bills are the only team that that doesn't get their players signed before camp?? That's just plain wrong. Every year there are lots of players that aren't signed before camp starts, no need to just make things up... Starting camp a week early is the real problem this year, clearly players try to wait until the market is set before signing. The deals WILL get done, it may just take a little time. It sucks, but it is what it is. The last thing I'll thing I'll add is that I've negotiated several athlete contracts and it's NEVER quick and easy (and these aren't of the magnitude of an NFL contract). There's a lot of back and forth - agents and athletes have their wants, the organization has their wants and needs and they don't always align. The common misconception is that it's all about money, but cash is just one part of a deal; there are lots of other details that can slow things up. I agree with BillsVet, I think we'll see everyone in camp by the EOW. Oh, and oddly enough a couple weeks ago Maybin was on Twitter saying that his deal was close to being done. I wonder what happened?
  11. I'll only believe this once New ICE starts a thread confirming it... lol
  12. Ross Tucker just tweeted (he must be on Sirius) "Bills rookie Aaron Maybin said his agent is working hard trying to finish deal before camp. Maybin will stay at 250lbs and get some LB reps." At least he understands the importance of getting into camps. It'll be interesting to see what they have planned for the D this season..
  13. And here I thought that Bernie would get the call out for his socialist views But seriously though, if there's one thing we idealistic Vermonters aren't, it's bitter (ok, we're a little bitter at the fact that it's rained for two months straight and it'll be winter in two more). All I was saying in my original post, is that Sarah Palin is not smart. At all. I know smarts and she ain't got 'em.... And if that's a fact, tell me, am I bitter?
  14. Palin probably doesn't even know the words to the National Anthem. Also, Dumbest Post Ever (non-football related).
  15. I thought that people in Buffalo were of a hardy stock, steadfast and stong. When did everyone become so damn whiny?
  16. 2 posts, both the same. Brilliant...
  17. LB segment: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-mini-camps/0...ebacker-lessons
  18. Ray Lewis is a has-been and sucks, what can he teach someone? Plus what's with this training in FL - what is the guy a freaking Dolphins fan now!?! I SAY WE CUT HIM AND GET THIS CANCER OFF THE TEAM NOW! If he's so good, where is his NFL production last year? I searched nfl.com - not ONE sack, we're not looking good. I say that dolphin loving, no sack making, thug life living, has-been Maybin can move right back to Florida where he's from...
  19. Only Bills fans could reverse engineer lemons from lemonade...
  20. Ross had Brad Butler on Sirius NFL Radio, unfortunately I didn't hear it, but he posted this on Twitter: "Brad Butler got a call from Bills after draft telling him he was moving to OT because they weren't able to draft some guys they wanted to." So drafting an OT *was* part of the original plan. Of course they probably wanted Smith or Smith who they had no shot at anyway. Still, interesting...
  21. Total tool with the Worst Post Ever.
  22. We're Doooooooomed - for success!
  23. Hammer, do you have a spare room? Funny that a landlord in Buffalo would reject the ONE guy that they know has the loot to pay the rent...
  24. They may not have all been 50 yards, but Trent's passes were looking crisp. Sure he's standing there, but they look good... http://www.buffalobills.com/media-lounge/v...f2-2a16f3303c5b
