  1. I was out driving around, but the big news in the Fred Jackson interview is that he feels that an extension with the Bills is going to get done. He said a couple times in the interview that "I expect that we'll get something done pretty soon here, don't be surprised." That's GREAT news for the Bills!
  2. A "meh" interview. - Talked about the coach pension issue. Marv didn't have a ton to say. - Talked about Ralph and Bruce being inducted into the HOF. He's thrilled about both, "elated", HOF said there are TONS of reservations being made by Bills fans. Ralph is the only original AFL owner to keep his team in it's hometown. - Back to the coach pension thing. Enough Ross. - Tucker asked about Cam Wake, what's the big difference in playing in the NFL. Very different game here, caliber of competition goes up. Mentioned Flutie as a player that made the transition - lol. That's it, that's all - can't believe they didn't ask about this year's team...
  3. They're going to be on with Ross Tucker and Howard Balzer. Nice - the siriusnflradio twitter feed just said Marv is up in 20. Twitter *is* good for something...
  4. And then there was Jimmy Two Times, who got that nickname because he said everything twice, like: I'm gonna go get the papers, get the papers. lol
  5. The only question is how long can they avoid it for? From all of the banter on the Internet they KNOW people like throwbacks; Russ is a pretty savvy marketing guy and this move only makes sense... I still like the white charging Buffalo helmet, but that's just me. And about the white throwback, if they come out I'm gettin' one!
  6. at least that validates my mook comment
  7. In Buffalo Bills terms that would be like a QB competition of RJ v. JP. Also, now that Skoob put this in the print the Bills are doooomed - bye bye Buffalo Bills, hello Oklahoma City Midwesterners.
  8. Clearly the source to trust is the one that any mook on the Internet can edit. Brilliant thread.
  9. Did no one mention Dan Dierforf?!? F that guy...
  10. And here ya go: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-tota...ure-Dick-Jauron Got the link via twitter - pretty quick after the show. Maybe this technology thing *is* working...
  11. Nothing new there - some TO (still?), some Marshawn (still?) and a little Trent. Woodson did question Jauron based on his record and Duke STILL can't fathom that we didn't draft a tackle. I'm sure it'll be up on nfln.com before too long...
  12. I think after the break, if anyone is interested...
  13. I don't think it's the big words or perfect grammar that makes Tim a good to read, I think it's the fact that he's one of *us*. I mean he's here in this thread... He writes well informed articles about the things the fans care about (and he understands the well informed, passionate fans of TBD are a good barometer for the Bills ). It's sort of Journalism 2.0, or a cool relationship with a journalist that has some access. Whatever it is, keep up the the good work Mr. Graham!
  14. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1...56-73c87f8ebfa5 A few more names for the fodder...
  15. Gil Brandt just said that LaBeau is sick that we got Lankster, cause Pittsburgh wanted him in Rd 7. Interesting. Everyone said they really like what the Bills did this weekend, FWIW...
  16. Harris. Must be a special teamer that they feel has the potential to develop...

  18. Sirius likes the player. Pro day time was bad, slow. Speed is a concern. Strange pick.
  19. The one thing that impresses me most about this draft so far is that every player has potential to be an immediate contributor. Obviously it depends on how they develop, etc., but this could end up being a great draft for us...
  20. From the Bills official Twitter: The Bills are projecting Nic Harris to play linebacker.
  21. Wait - no ones threatening to leave Bills fandom over this one? The Front Office must really be doing a good job
  22. Brandt: RB in high school, Gil thinks he's a LB not a Safety, athlete with speed and 235. Similar to Coy Wire (seriously, they said that). 235 and fast, good athlete, should be a good blitzer...
  23. Interesting: http://www.fftoolbox.com/nfl_draft/profile...rospect_id=1619 Nic Harris, SS, Oklahoma Nic Harris is a big, hard-hitting safety who has given nightmares to Big 12 opponents. It started when he was a freshman and earned some starts at free safety. A year later Harris was playing corner and ended the season back at free safety, where he led the team in interceptions and started to show just how good he could be. By his junior campaign, Harris was earning all-conference accolades from just about everybody At 6-3 and 230 pounds, Harris is a big safety. Yet, his foot speed does not suffer due to his size. Harris does a great job getting into the backfield and he is always a candidate to blitz out of the secondary. During the 2007 season he recorded 9.5 tackles-for-loss and 3.5 sacks. Harris is not known for his coverage abilities, but he is not bad at it. Besides leading the team in 2006 with four interceptions, he tallied two in 2007 and broke up seven passes. Harris might not have the pure athleticism and talent of some of the great safeties that have played in the NFL, but he is a solid player and low risk selection. For now he is likely a mid-round selection, but Harris can move his stock up quite a bit with a good senior season and a decent showing at the combine. 12/17 Update: Harris had a solid senior campaign, but did not put up eye popping numbers. He tallied 64 tackles, including three for a loss, but did not get a sack or an interception all year long. The Sooners defense had other playmakers to rack up the sacks and interceptions and Harris did what the team needed him to do. Despite the lack of flashy numbers, Harris still earned AP third-team All-America accolades. 2/12 Update: Harris is trying to move to the outside linebacker position, but the results are not so good. During practices at the Senior Bowl he struggled to move through all the traffic. His footwork is still fine, but he will have to add strength in order to fight through blocks. Harris will need to do better during the NFL Combine or he will fall into the second day of the draft.
  24. lol - some relation to Shawn Nelson is on Twitter: "yeah I was thinking that too. I see him going to the Bills. If they don't pick him.....who knows" "I knew that was going to happen. Now S Dot gotta play with TO's crazy a**" pretty funny
  25. Sirius was just talking about Meridith! Sweet - Wood is on!!
