Thanks not how this forum works. If you claim a point, it's up to you to prove the point. We're not your fact checkers and we do not do your homework. So far, your rebuttals have consisted of providing two Wiki links and zero elaboration on exactly how the executive can reclassify pot with a stroke of a pen. If anything, your links undermine your point, since the petitions to DEA to reclassify pot began in 1972 (over 9 separate Executives of all different stripes), and yet here we are still at Category 1. So that in itself indicates that reclassification is more involved than a change on a sheet of paper, doesn't it?

How about providing a link to the statute itself?

Marcell Dareus: Going to Jaguars “changed my life”
GG replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's continue the discussion from another thread. Here are the top salary cap players heading into the 2017 season: Marcel Dareus Jerry Hughes LeSean McCoy Cordy Glenn Tyrod Taylor Charles Clay These players also count a lot towards the 2018 cap, which would be worse if you added Sammy to it. The money tied up with these players contracts severely hampered the team's ability to add or keep FAs in 2016 & 2017. So while many were up in arms about Bills tossing talent overboard this year, none of those players other than Shady were the difference makers this season.. What's worse, is that all these players came up small in the first week of the playoffs (and yes, I'm looking at you Sammy Watkins). So spare me the season's worth of crying about the process and how McDermott has gutted the core. That core was rotten, and it's time to keep cleaning out the rot. -
No, they cannot just change it. Explain the legal process.

Marcell Dareus: Going to Jaguars “changed my life”
GG replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People keep getting hung up on players potential rather than their performance on the field. Bills rid the roster of their paper players, and the results were self evident. I don't know who you think would be a less talented DL they will sign in FA who couldn't replicate Dareus's role at half the cost. That's why I said to wait until the off-season to see if Jags retain Dareus at his current deal. So now we have to find excuses on why we MADE the playoffs? -

They needed to clear the deck ahead of FA signing period in March. He was taking up way to much cap space for a space eating 50% rotational DT (which is also coincidentally his role on the Jags) -

Could it be that you added that after the fact? -

I know, failed to make playoffs again because the coaching staff and FO cuddled players around a losing culture. -

The cap ramifications of Dareus's contract are completely different for Bills vs Jags -

Come back to this thread if Jags keep Dareus next year under the existing contract. -
It would be helpful if you could explain the process of how DEA can reclassify drugs on their own.
-
That would work

I can't see how this year is deemed worse than last year, or Ryan's first year. If the job opens up, I think there will be more interest in it this year than last, because the Process showed results. The adage still holds, there are only 32 of these jobs in the world and there won't be a shortage of candidates. BTW, the WGR analysis ignores a minor tidbit, if there's a Bills OC opening, that means in 3 seasons Tyrod has contributed to the demise of 2 OCs. That my friends, will be the biggest question facing the potential hire.

I think he sealed his fate when he called for Peterman to start. Could have submarined the entire season. I have no issues in bringing in Chudzinski

Nothing like a wrongheaded contrarian

You keep harping on this. So please explain how a color guy consistently talks prior to the play unfolding ahead of the play by play announcer? Maybe because he doesn't talk about the play before it unfolds?
-
Yes, 2017. These were deemed key players to build the franchise around and why they were signed for the big dollars. How many will be there in 2018, and how many will be missed? Other than Shady, you can lop off the entire list and not miss a beat.

Don't know if I should reply to this or start a new thread about pouring salt on Doug Whaley's wounds and needing a fresh start. Only in Buffalo would this be considered a successful season
GG replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea this was a successful season -
Talk about mental gymnastics. If your argument is that Obama's executive orders were unchallenged, thus setting anew precedent, how can you argue that the next executive doesn't have the right to set the next precedent? And if you care to cite Wiki, cite the entire paragraph on why it hasn't been rescheduled through administration by Executive. Thus making you another paper libertarian, because of your blatant disregard for the rule of law & procedure.

Prayers. Hope he's at peace now.

Looks real to me

Then you choices are to vote for A) a candidate who favors a far more intrusive form of government or B) a true libertarian. Meaning that if that's your take, you didn't vote for Trump in the first place. Trump is not a conservative? Well, blow me down with that newsflash.

Build that wall. Build that wall.

Of all the stupid crap Trump has pulled over the past year, you think that people who voted for him are going to abandon him because of pot? Yeah
