  1. That was this morning. Check the latest
  2. Those #s don't make sense in light of the contract redo last yr. BTW, Spotrac already updated Wood's cap hit for 2018, and he accounts for only $5.6 million dead cap, which means $3 million cap saving. My guess is that a salary paid for an injury guarantee doesn't count agains the cap for a retired player. So there's good news on thew cap front at least
  3. To paraphrase the orange golem, NY is open for business
  4. They should take a page out of Pats* playbook and come up with a structure where Wood pays back a portion of his signing bonus, and gets that money back by working for PSE as Donald jones' replacement.
  5. Best wishes for a non life threatening condition and full recovery
  6. WGR just picked up the rumor, so it has some legs to it.
  7. And that percentage shoul be closer to 90%, not 80%
  8. That is one messed up lottery. 2nd to last team has almost 2/3 chance picking 4th or 5th? That's nuts. The odds are way too high for teams finishing 5-8 to land a Top 3 pick. An 8th worst recod gives you an 18% chance to pick Top 3? That team is realistically a playoff contender. Crazy.
  9. I don’t think it’s a term, but a couple of acronyms. Something like CNN or MSNBC
  10. They just keep on digging that hole. Trump should be tweeting these quotes like mad.
  11. A hand me down from his protege because she got too old?
  12. It's not done on an annual year to year. You compare the most recent quarter to the previous year's quarter. There's been 4 quarters of data to compare under Trump's term, and the results are fairly convincing. All the positive sentiment that was expressed in the OP has come true, and Trump should get credit for that.
  13. Growth is measured on a year over year basis, not quarter on quarter
  14. Correct. The latter list is the one used in describing economic growth. The recovery under Obama was the weakest in memory, especially considering the throughs he started from. A dead cat bounce should have produced at least a few quarters above 3%
  15. How does the adage go - You can't hit a home run without taking a swing? In light of the analytics team revamp, hopefully they can do the proper analysis on the rationale to move up in the draft. History is generally more favorable for moving up to draft QBs than for other positions
  16. A decent summary of last year
  17. I'm on the East Coast end of ground zero. TDS started very early for the opposition and went off the charts after the election. Plus, it was always personal against Trump. That's why no matter how good things get in his Presidency, they will never acknowledge it because it's associated with Trump. ODS was never at this level, and most of the criticism was about his leadership & lack of accomplishments. Only racists had a personal dislike of Obama & family.
  18. I live in ground zero of DTS Resistance/Persistence, and the comparisons aren't even close.
  19. The only hope I hold out for Peterman is if somehow they increase the ball velocity. To have 3 INTs on bread & butter throws is career killing.
  20. If Cleveland doesn't take him or Rosen #1, it opens up a strong possibility that he's available at #4.
  21. To me it depends on the end target - if it's FBI then Mueller is probably not on Team Trump, if it's CF, DNC then possibly he is.
  22. I don't see how Mueller & the investigation is implicated in the dossier fabrication & FISA abuses. If anything, he's played above water by immediately firing Strzok when he "learned" about the agent's malfeasance. Don't forget Mueller's visit with Trump on the eve of being named SC
  23. To play the devil's advocate on this issue, Mueller has a big trump card to play to have the memo & scandals go away. I find it coincidental that Mueller now wants to interview Trump, as there's increasing noise about FBI misdeeds and less noise about Russian collusion. My guess is that it won't be an interview, but an offer that Trump will find hard to refuse. It's clear that neither Trump nor his campaign conspired with the Russians in the election. What's less clear is how much dirt Mueller dug up on Trump & family (my guess is that it's a lot). So Mueller's offer to Trump is to make things go away and not press the FBI's crimes or lose his family business and have the kids & Jared tossed in jail. The bet is that Trump is the right kind of guy who'll eschew principles to save his business.
