  1. Except for the fact that the article is total bull ****, it seems like a good idea to have more input. The description is more fitting of the Patriots. The Steelers have one of the oldest rosters with more over 30 starters than most teams.
  2. Locker doesnt have the physical tools (worse accuracy than Fitz) doesn't have the mental tools, and how come he always gets a pass? "Everyone on the U Dub team sucks except for Locker" it's actually including Locker. It's the JP Lossman effect yes if you put Locker in a T-Shirt and shorts and have him toss balls in practice he looks an awful lot like Peyton Manning but that's where it ends. Locker crumbles under pressure as bad as JP Lossman as well. If Locker had the same skin tone as Newton he would be 7th round, ufa prospect.
  3. You're welcome to your incorrect opinion. Mallet and Newton would have both went before Tebow and maybe Gabbert too. Last year's QB was the weakest class in years and next year outside of Luck will be even weaker. I honestly don't understand how you can possibly say 2011 QB class is weaker than the 2010 with 1.5 QBs in the whole draft.
  4. I wouldn't hate that at #34. He interviews much better than Locker, where Locker sounds like he is drain bramaged when he speaks. I'm worried though he has a 4th-6th round grade Pre Senior Bowl. Its even more meteoric rise than in years past. #68 or #99 might be better.
  5. Wha Wha What? Newton and Mallet 1st round locks. Yo-Gabba-Gabbert might go first too and its even possible that a bad scouting department bites on Locker, but he is most likely going 3rd round. That statement is really taking the anti-Newtite rhetoric to new heights. This is a good QB class. 2012 after Luck is total garbage.
  6. When Specifically do you hear this? I have the practices and the daily run down DVR'd I haven't gotten a whiff of this. This is just more Buffalo Bills self loathing and PTSD.
  7. Who doesn't Mayock like?
  8. So if he is in an NFL weight program than he is playing for a different team than the Bills I take it?
  9. The Same was said about Jim Leonhard. George Wilson is a good safety that can play Free and Strong and a better tackler than you're giving him credit. I am A-OK with a Wilson - Byrd tandem and Scott coming off the bench.
  10. As Earlier stated the two worst teams get to coach the senior bowl, so the NFL thinks it's a big advantage.
  11. I think Donte is as good as gone. Wilson, Byrd, and Scott is a good safety core. I think they need to focus on signing Wilson. He is arguably better than Donte and certaintly more flexible with better ball skills. It takes 10 mill+ a season to sign Asomugha, I'd pass. If someone could coach McKelvin up to be a good CB, leaving return duties to CJ or Freddie, and you sign Florence the CBs are set. Then if McGee can get healthy it's only a bonus. So signing Florence and Wilson would be priorities for me.
  12. It's also possible that VY is coming back now that Fisher is gone.
  13. You are right on. The good news is Buddy Nix said during Senior Bowl week we are going to draft the player we think is a franchise changing player (Cam Newton, Ryan Mallet) no matter what so called experts (McShay Kiper draftnicks) think they should be drafted. On top of that the 2012 draft class is super weak QB class after Luck you have Barkley that is too tiny to be an NFL QB and then a whole bunch of players that need a lot of work. Ryan Mallet and Cam Newton would have both gone in front of Tebow last year as well as Blaine (which I think is a figment of McShay's imagination) and all three would go after Luck next year. If a QB is "the man" there is no such thing as a "reach". Cam Newton = Tim Tebow + NFL throwing motion - missionary trips. BTW since 1991 there are only 4 QBs that were not drafted in the first 32 picks you have one the Super Bowl Warner, Hostetler (Simms was 1st round) Rypien, and Brady. And given the likely top teams in the NFL the next couple of years the days of a new sixth round pick winning a Super Bowl are going to be even less likely.
  14. You are a medical professional ? Can you get your hands on some designer HGH? That's what Merriman really needs. I hope he gets some in the off season.
  15. No!!!!!!! My Boy Moffit is getting too much cred. He will never be there at 99 now. FA\Love Levitre Wood Moffit Bell was in the makings. Moffit is a complete Manimal and made Costanzo better, same could happen with Bell. Now that the cat is out of the bag that he has played all interior positions its looking like he might not even be there in the 3rd at #68.
  16. Not likely the difference between aj green, Julio Jones, and Jon Baldwin is minimal one if them will be there At 17 if they want a playmaker.
  17. The story is simple In October Ralph said we are drafting a QB. In January he said we are talking the best player. End of story.
  18. I respect your position but it's basically February 2011 the draft is in 90 days. We're heading out of the realm of Hypathetical. Who do you want the Bills to take at #3?
  19. 2 games with a sack and Thoner7 is losing money. If its 1 for 1; I'll take the bet. I like a sure thing.
  20. 20! Lets go for 100 Pages!
  21. Standing on the sideline talking to a 3rd string QB is not "out there." And what was Haine supposed to say? "Ah no he didn't help at all he just cried on the bench and said something about his Momma." Haine gave a PR answer. No one is trying to judge based on 1-2 second clip. People are judging based on the medical information that was released after the game. Grade 2 ACL sprain. You're a QB in the NFC Championship game. You have all offseason to get surgery if it gets worse. It's either you or 15 year do nothing vet or a 3rd stringer "never will be" emergency QB. You have all ofseason to rehab, get out there and be a franchise QB. You don't get paid 10s of Millions of dollars have your franchise trade tons of pick to whisper sweet nothings in your 3rd stringer's ear. This is the NFC championship game we're talking about not week 3. Philip Rivers and Cutler used to have shoot outs and Cutler just proved he can't hold Rivers' jock strap. Now I will say this, Grade 2 ACL sprain often does not require surgery a Grade 3 requires surgery. If there is a higher risk of complications in surgery because of Type I Diabetes, which there probably is and if the staff was being conservative because they were worried about long term complications then I am a gigantic Richard head for calling this out.
  22. What specifically is the specific risk? The Roster spot that he would take?
  23. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/126408-senior-bowl-south-draft/page__p__2093847__hl__south__fromsearch__1#entry2093847 I'm pretty sure that "Senior Bowl South Draft" is but Whateves. I take back my gestapo like post. Thread on, my Brother. Thread on! :w00t:
  24. No the 2.5 million couldn't have. There is tons of money to go around. Nix and Merriman clearly have some kind of relationship and I liked Merriman's interview style. If he is nothing more than assistant OLB coach its still not a bad move. The Bills lose nothing but our taking a long, long, long, long shot that Merriman can play at high level again (I doubt it though). Its like throwing a 10 spot on Double 5 in Craps, If the double fever hits you're pretty happy, if it doesn't hit no big deal.
