  1. True. With all the hype he is still a 3-4 DE. Good Point. On the other hand are Pass Rush and Rush D is so horrible we need the most impact-ful defensive player on the board when we pick. It just may end up being Cam Jordan.
  2. There are like 3 of these threads. Try searching first.
  3. Every year you're splitting hairs in the Top50 talent. This year in particular the difference between the #10 ranked player and #50 ranked player is even thiner. The next 3 months are going to shuffle these players then shuffle them again. Every year late 1st/early2nd shoots up the ranks out of the senior bowl. This year it looks like it's going to be Cam Jordan.
  4. +1. I kept seeing him in mocks in the mid to late 1st and only saw 1 Cal game but didn't remember him or wasn't focused on the Cal D-Line. If you could make a list of an ideal candidate for the Bills defensive line(Human Being not a fictional Superman) Cam Jordan would fit most of those requirements.
  5. That is not the definition of a Level II Sprain. This is the definition of a Level II ACL Sprain RBs and WRs sometimes play with a Grade 2 Sprain and they have to run. Cutler could have stood planted and thrown with no problem. Numb it up and go out and play. Anyone defending Cutler that isn't involved with the Bears 1.) Never played team sports. 2.) Never had a sprain The QB of the team needed to be out there to guide them to a win. If for some reason he or they wouldn't let him play he needed to be in the locker room away from the cameras not sulking on the bench. Lovie Smith handled it horribly and turned it into a cluster. If Cutler is in the locker room most of these questions don't happen. Philip Rivers played with an actual torn ACL (Level 3) AND sprained MCL (Level 1 or 2) in the 2007 AFC Championship. He could barely walk. That is a franchise QB. Cutler has just made the case in point as to why he is a whinny douche that is out for himself and not a franchise QB that will do whatever it takes to lead his team to a championship. Urlacher is going to continue to find Cutler's battles for him because Cutler clearly can't fight for himself.
  6. Nix isn't even posturing that they are going to trade that pick or take a player that another team may want. If they think someone (Cam Newton\Ryan Mallet) is "the man" they are going to take him weather Kiper or McShay think he should go 3rd or not. Although trading down would be prudent if Fairely is gone imo, they most likely could have traded down with San Diego last year and didn't do it, so with no sure fire studs that a team would be willing to give up the high cost to trade up to #3 I'm not getting my hopes up for a trade down in 2011.
  7. All of this, plus in the biggest game of his life. In the 2011 Cotton Bowl He just completely gives up on any backside pursuit, I mean just out there like a stroll in the park, play after play. I specifically watched Miller in that game and was not impressed at all, more than that I was offended by his lack of effort and willingness to give up in the middle of a play. I seriously doubt these habits are just a 1 game type of thing. If the Bills take this tiny guy that gives up on plays it will be typical Buffalo Bills Bust detector at work.
  8. Pro Athletes are responsible for generating Billions thats Billions with B if not Trillions if you include advertising across NBA, MLB, NHL & NFL in ticket revenue, food & Beverage, advertising and memorabilia. The Athletes are just getting a cut. Don't hate the player, hate the game. I'm glad Pat Moran took my advice. I'm going to dust off my P90X incase Maybin sends me a tweet.
  9. @49 That would be insane\awesome. I bet he could be a 3rd down back. If you saw him in MMA he can pick up a blitz, and he had great hands for a dump off. If he would play for a veteran minimum on a contender that needs a 3rd down back like Atlanta, that would be awesome. He was a Georgia Bulldog so the fans would love it. He is a freaking freak so maybe the Falcons allow him to come into training camp.
  10. Its a celebrity boxing match, with headgear for Charity, whats the big deal. Pat Moran is a 1.) horrible person for not taking the a few minutes to help people in need 2.) is a Pu$$y for ducking out and not taking a couple well deserved licks. Whitner's not going to kill the guy just hike the hip pads up real high and keep your elbows in, Pat'll be fine. You can put it in the contract that Whitner can't go full speed on his candy arse. This would be awesome to see! I'm pissed that Patricia won't make it happen. Wearing a Gronk jersey (Arizona) jersey would just make it even better. You could probably get some money from the Gronk brothers for the charity too. I am the biggest Maybin hater. He blocked me from Twitter too. (One Tweet about @AaronMaybin56 being the worst Buffalo Bills draft pick of all time and I get blocked) I'll celebrity box his ass. I'll be wearing a Daryl Talley #56 Jersey though.
  11. Actually I like the North roster a little bit better. Senior Bowl north draft: 1. (assuming your trade down) Solder, Nate OL 6-9 / 315 Colorado)\ Carimi, Gabe OL 6-7 / 327 Wisconsin \ Castonzo, Anthony OL 6-7 / 308 Boston College (which ever is on the board) 2. Paea, Stephen DL 6-1 / 311 Oregon State 2. Herzlich, Mark LB 6-4 / 244 Boston College 3. Foster, Mason LB 6-2 / 242 Washington 4. Moffitt, John OL 6-5 / 323 Wisconsin 4. Matthews, Casey LB 6-2 / 235 Oregon 5. Carmichael, Rashad DB 5-11 / 186 Virginia Tec 6. Marecic, Owen FB\ILB 6-1 / 244 Stanford 7. Stanzi, Ricky QB 6-4 / 230 Iowa Highlights from the Senior Bowl North Roster 45 Beal, Jeremy DL 6-3 / 267 Oklahoma * 68 Carimi, Gabe OL 6-7 / 327 Wisconsin 21 Carmichael, Rashad DB 5-11 / 186 Virginia Tech * 74 Castonzo, Anthony OL 6-7 / 308 Boston College 40 Foster, Mason LB 6-2 / 242 Washington * 20 Helu Jr., Roy RB 6-0 / 220 Nebraska 44 Herzlich, Mark LB 6-4 / 244 Boston College 53 Jones, Greg LB 6-1 / 240 Michigan State 10 Kaepernick, Colin QB 6-6 / 225 Nevada 84 Kendricks, Lance TE 6-4 / 241 Wisconsin 91 Kerrigan, Ryan DL 6-4 / 263 Purdue 48 Marecic, Owen RB 6-1 / 244 Stanford 55 Matthews, Casey LB 6-2 / 235 Oregon 70 Moffitt, John OL 6-5 / 323 Wisconsin * 54 Paea, Stephen DL 6-1 / 311 Oregon State 71 Pinkston, Jason OL 6-4 / 305 Pittsburgh 78 Solder, Nate OL 6-9 / 315 Colorado 12 Stanzi, Ricky QB 6-4 / 230 Iowa * indicates WSS approved player.
  12. Right then 5th, 6th,7th, & 8th are the Giants, Redskins, Cowboys, and Cowboys.
  13. So is 90% of the NFL including the two super bowl teams.
  14. I agree. I think of it this way. Early in the draft you draft Football IQ, Size, and Athleticism combined. Middle of the draft you take two of the three Football IQ , Size and Athleticism. Late in the draft you take just one of three Football IQ, Size and Athleticism. Von Miller definitely doesn't have size.
  15. He is listed at 237. He can be a weakside OLB def not a RushBacker. Which is the only type of LB you're going to draft at #3. There are a million similar weakside OLB in the draft even with that supposed speed an NFL 8:00:23 PM could 1 arm scoop slam him.
  16. This year in particular I'm glad that the Bills coaching staff is involved in the Senior Bowl. Good news is the Bills coaching staff gets to work with Von Miller and DeMarcus Love all this week and can only help better scout these players. If Love falls to the second the Bills might get lucky. All the players are obviously great college football players but of Particular interest is: 81 Acho, Sam DL 6-1 3/4 / 257 Texas * 57 Bailey, Allen DL 6-3 1/4 / 278 Miami 85 Dial, Preston TE 6-2 1/8 / 238 Alabama 66 Kirkpatrick, Jake OL 6-2 1/4 / 301 TCU 65 Love, DeMarcus OL 6-4 5/8 / 318 Arkansas * 40 Miller, Von LB 6-2 5/8 / 237 Texas A&M 7 Ponder, Christian QB 6-2 1/8 / 222 Florida State 79 Sherrod, Derek OL 6-5 5/8 / 312 Mississippi State * 88 Stocker, Luke TE 6-4 7/8 / 255 Tennessee 98 Taylor, Phil DL 6-3 1/2 / 337 Baylor * 45 Williams, D.J. TE 6-1 7/8 / 236 Arkansas They also get to line up against 45 Beal, Jeremy DL 6-3 / 267 Oklahoma * 68 Carimi, Gabe OL 6-7 / 327 Wisconsin 21 Carmichael, Rashad DB 5-11 / 186 Virginia Tech * 74 Castonzo, Anthony OL 6-7 / 308 Boston College 40 Foster, Mason LB 6-2 / 242 Washington * 20 Helu Jr., Roy RB 6-0 / 220 Nebraska 44 Herzlich, Mark LB 6-4 / 244 Boston College 53 Jones, Greg LB 6-1 / 240 Michigan State 10 Kaepernick, Colin QB 6-6 / 225 Nevada 84 Kendricks, Lance TE 6-4 / 241 Wisconsin 91 Kerrigan, Ryan DL 6-4 / 263 Purdue 48 Marecic, Owen RB 6-1 / 244 Stanford 55 Matthews, Casey LB 6-2 / 235 Oregon 70 Moffitt, John OL 6-5 / 323 Wisconsin * 54 Paea, Stephen DL 6-1 / 311 Oregon State 71 Pinkston, Jason OL 6-4 / 305 Pittsburgh 78 Solder, Nate OL 6-9 / 315 Colorado 12 Stanzi, Ricky QB 6-4 / 230 Iowa I hope Nix and company get to give these kids some extra interviews or atleast prep their coaching staff and what to look for when and give feed back to the coaching staff. The Bills have no excuse for a poor 2011 draft class they get to be up close and personal with some of the best prospects in the 2011 draft. In particular Von Miller looks too small to me to play OLB in the NFL, the good news is our coaching staff gets to see him first hand and give their feedback. *indicates WSS endorsed player
  17. I think the author's source is TwoBillsDrive
  18. Newsflash the Bills strugle to identify and keep talent the Steelers do not.
  19. Bowers and Peterson are waay over rated imo. I like Dareaus but if this draft comes true and Dareaus & Fairely are gone, I'm actually not throwing stuff at the TV, if AJ Green is picked. Although I wouldn't make that pick myself. It wouldn't be a horrible idea in this particular situation. All that said. I am not a Quinn fan, it scares me that he sat around for a year. He is super risky to pick that high. JJ Watt is 4-3 DE. He's like worst case Chris Kelsay part II, best case Aaron Schobel Part II, I just don't know. I hate this draft for the Bills! I want Fairely or Dareaus at #3, the rest are the defensive prospects are scary. Aldon Smith dude is a major tweener. He doesn't look like he is athletic enough to play NFL LB and certainty won't play DE. Kerrigan is another Tweener. Von Miller is a tiny little guy. Which brings me back to AJ Green. AJ green is a play maker, that is one of the most polished WR that has come out in a long time. AJ Green is much more of sure thing than Bowers, Quinn, Peterson, Kerrigan, Von Miller or Aldon Smith IMO. I like Prince Amukamara more than any of the other Defenders. So if Fairely and Dareaus go #1 and #2 I'm OK with taking a sure thing like AJ Green; especially in Chan's offense. Although why not just go for Mallet or Newton in the situation? Much more risk but much more impact to the long term respectability of the franchise. This mock draft is going to keep me up at night. I hate this draft for the Bills!
  20. I hate the Steelers and Hate the Jets X 1000. Went to the Bills @ Packers this year and this town gets it. The Stadium Experience is amazing. The Tour is great. The GB HOF is fun. the Tour Brings you through the tunnel on the field. The Tailgating was great. The whole town eats, sleeps and breaths the Pack. Go Pack Go! to the Super Bowl! I'm hoping they get a 4th Trophy for their HOF.
  21. The Bills have 0.00000001% chance of making the playoffs in 2011. We seem to do this heads rolling thing every 36 months. It's been very successful, don't you think?
