  1. Why is it that the Skins can do this every freakin year and we can't seem to be able to hold on to people every single year? Will this ever catch up to them and their cap?
  2. Maui, starting tomorrow!
  3. Let's go insurance adjusters, let's go!!
  4. I apologize if this has been discussed on TBD already, but I had to ask. I am not a super "lost" fan, but my wife loves the show. I saw last nights episode and here is her theory on what the island is: She thinks that they are all dead already, and that this pergatory. Once they overcome their demons then they are released. And that at the end of the season we will all discover all this, sort of 6th sense style. Any thoughts, I think it is an interesting theory
  5. All I know is we better get one from the Big Ten, those fellas are corn-fed and fast. Seems like there are more good linemen from the midwest than any other part of the country.
  6. 1. 24 2. CSI (original) 3. Extreme Makeover, Home Ed. 4. Syracuse Basketball 5. Sportscenter
  7. Nugent!! And Terry OT from the Cuse because he is real good, and I pray flies under the radar until the 3rd...not likely
  8. Interesting to me that people seem to bash on Bledsoe pretty quick, but as I watched Kitna (who some of us probably would take over Bledsoe next year as a 1st or 2nd stinger) I realized this guys is playing horrible. Then I thought back to our last run of games (Hasselback, Bulger, Feely, Carter) I realized that Bledsoe is playing games to win and not to rack up great stats. His sacks are down, he's moving more, getting rid of the ball quickly in most cases - all things that the above mentioned are not doing against us. Yes, his accuracy is off at times and he can't seem to avoid int's on the road sometimes. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it...and right now it ain't broke!
  9. I would start Portis and Walker
  10. Thanks Buckeye. I am impressed with Lee Evans ability to catch the ball with his hands, the last four games he has caught nearly everything that is thrown his way. And I am also glad to see a 1st round rookie come in and play big, none of this "he needs three years to develop." Turning out to be a real nice pick for TD in the midst of higher profile guys (although I really wouldn't mind having Roy Williams either).
  11. I know that Michael Clayton leads rookie WR in catches, but does anyone have stat lines on rookies to compare Evans with others? He has looked very impressive.
  12. Also being at the game, his first pick was one of the worst seam throws I have ever seen. The ball (coming right at me) was floated to a wide open Euhus, easy for the safety to get. The second was a heave that never should've been thrown into double coverage, basically a jump ball. The third was a bad read by Drew, and an easy jump (looked like the seahawk defender had watched enough drew film to know exactly how to jump the play).
  13. What a great day to be in the Pacific NW and to see the Bills live for the first time in 10 years!! Here are a couple of thoughts that I had seeing the game live. 1. Our coaches worked the game perfectly, and clearly had the upperhand all day long. 2. You think it sucks being a Bills fan, I couldn't believe how pissed the Hawks fans were, although rightly so, they turned on their team pretty quick. 3. Our defense looks amazing live. They made Seattle play our game and Seattle looked like us in weeks 1-4. 4. As noted here earlier, McGahee is surprisingly quick on the edge, can't wait to see him at 100%. 5. Drew looked very confident, although still made horrible throws on occasion, but his sideline demeanor was good. 6. It was awesome to see a good contigent of Bills faithful 3000 miles from home. 7. This team is getting good, too bad it started so late!
  14. Interesting to me that no one has mentioned that Laura Bush is a much more respectable FLOTUS than THK would have ever been. Proof is in the pudding.
  15. Is that this team cannot finish, or start for that matter, football games. They lack intensity and execution when it matters most. Look at every game this year and you will find that the Bills do not know how to win. They sure know how to lose, and have become skilled at losing. Finding new ways to lose each week. Watching them is about as fun as a root canal. And it sad to me that we are the Bengals, Cardinals, Lions of the past ten years. We are a W on someone else's schedule. And it seems that our players (Less Mcgahee and some on the D) have lost their pride. So sad...
  16. What we lack is ability to win games, finish games, and honestly start games with offensive intensity and execution. Jax-could not finish on either side of the ball in the 4th Oak-too many mistakes to win, bad refs and coaching decisions, bad penalties Jets-could not finish on D, could not start on O Pats-D couldn't stop of 3rd downs, O could not finish in the 4th Ravens-Bledsoe sucked, O Line Sucked, D played great We lose games for ourselves, this team needs to learn to win
  17. Thank you John!! I concur wholeheartedly, and we are going to miss the point if we fail to start WM. I loved an earlier post that talked about Mike Shanahan playing replacements for injured starters: If they play better than the starter than they stay in the lineup. Case in point for R. Drones right now. It is a stretch to say that TH has been as good in the starting role as WM. We have to go for wins and offense right now, not coddling fragile and immature head cases
  18. Todd Heap is out for the ravens, as is JL for is coke deals. I do not see this team being very good on the offensive side of the ball, except their line which is pretty damn good. A couple weeks ago the Chiefs (a horrible D) took it to them with JL in the lineup. A couple of thoughts that I see as key to a win. 1. run with Willis 2. keep the penalties down on the road 3. convert on 3rd down 4. keep running Moulds on the underneath routes, he was sooo open yesterday when they took him short 5. D needs to play sharper than yesterday, shut down the run in the first half
  19. Or a better question here might be why the heck would I be thinking about Willis and Travis at this particular moment?
  20. Fish 15 Bills 10 I love the Bills and always will, but this o-line is stevestojan no matter who we play. And I am sick and tired of being disappointed, so I will put the bar as low as it can go. Oh, and this too WM=27 carries, 148 yards and a TD
  21. Spurrier to the Cuse!! Man they need somebody to start bringing in players.
  22. Any news on who gets the nod at RB for Sunday, anything on the air??
