  1. He got back up so you must be right.
  2. He got absolutely obliterated on the sideline when he was running down to try and cover a punt. Miami's return man just crushed him as he was stepping out of bounds. It was kind of a cheap shot but they say you always have to be ready. He is spending time in the hot tub today I'm guessing.
  3. There was a TD pass to Evans in the preseason that looked at first as though it was overthrown. Evans kicked it up another gear and caught the ball for a touchdown. The announcers (Tasker?) were sure it was overthrown and they were amazed at Evans speed. If he did not get hit by the defender, I am sure he had the TD, no doubt in my mind.
  4. Are you actually saying you thought Shelton played well? We had constant pressure on Culpepper from that side of the line.
  5. So far I have to say you hit the nail on the head. These guys have the "make up speed" to account for bad position. Whitner saved us a lot of stress when he batted down the 2 point conversion attempt.
  6. He was horrible and we were able to exploit him and the rest of the Dolphins line all day long. Way to go Defense!!!
  7. Odd, but that comment actually pisses me off. I hope the Bills and therefore the city of Buffalo, kicks his ass and exposes Mularkey for the hack that he is. 3rd and goal, halfback option to the eligible tackle on 3..ready, break.
  8. sounds like a great first line for a haiku. Keep going.
  9. I'd prefer posters from Fin Heaven, they have good girlie pictures.
  10. DB's may be young Culpepper made the pro bowl 4 picks on Sunday
  11. He wouldn't get away with all the holding in a Bills uniform.
  12. It was so bad it needed two threads! Hopefully he will start practicing this week.
  13. They won't want him if he doesn't hurry up and get himself in some legal trouble real soon. He is not carrying his weight right now.
  14. Yeah but he came in from the backfield. He was 10 yards off of the line of scrimmage and only got in because Willis got stuck behind his blockers. I would have preferred that Fowler remain standing but #51 was not his responsibility. I don't think he's to blame. For what it's worth I watched that play a bunch of times as well and I think Willis got the first. That being said, it is easy to see why Juaron did not challenge the call because we are still disagreeing on the spot several days later. It probably would not have been over-turned.
  15. we techies strive for excellence.
  16. In my opinion he did. When his knee hit the ground that ball was a yard further than where it was spotted by the officials.
  17. That's what Shannon Sharp said. They showed that highlight as being a good play by Buffalo.
  18. just scroll down...
  19. report that aired immediately following our game on Sunday. They showed highlights of our game and when they showed us going for the 4th and 1 that we "missed" Shannon Sharp said "look at that great extra effort by McGahee to stretch out and get the first down. Buffalo went on to score but lost the game by a safety in the 4th quarter." They showed it as a great positive play by McGahee. I decided to watch the play over and over in slow motion, which I hadn't done before, paying extra attention to where the ball was when his knee hit the ground. I know this is beating a dead horse but he clearly had the first. I heard people talk about Fowler getting blown off of the ball which made McGahee fall short but Fowler brought his man to the ground with him. It was the linebacker who caught Willis from behind who made the tackle, but without a doubt, he had that first down.
  20. You don't have any quality safties hanging around by any chance do ya? Good luck!
  21. Wow that was fast. Saw that one coming.
  22. The article attached to this thread claims that Vincent had a career high 102 tackles last year but as far as I can tell he only had 42 tackles. That's a pretty big discrepancy. Odd. Vincent went to the Pro Bowl five consecutive years from 2000-2004 as a cornerback. He's played in 199 NFL games in his career and entered the 2006 season as the NFL leader in interceptions among active players with 47. He tied for the team lead in interceptions in 2005 with four and set a career high with 102 tackles for Buffalo last season.
  23. That, and Wire would probably still have been available. I doubt he would have been picked up as quickly as Baker.
  24. As far as I can tell Leonhard is still available, we should probably pick him up, at least he knows the system.
